Day 11: Favorite Mech Anime

Pretty sure that the "mech" refers to the "mecha" genre.

Personally, I don't watch too much mecha, but I highly recommend "Neon Genesis Evangelion" because it's one hell of an anime. If you haven't seen it, then you're missing out on the good stuff.

To be honest, mecha is not really my thing but I have to admit that this one is totally different. NGE is the perfect combination of deep scientific and psychological themes. The storyline is powerful, and this anime is definitely not a casual one where you don't have to pay much attention to the plot. Quite the opposite, NGE really makes you think. The art is good too--considering the fact that it was made so long ago. (It was in the 90's, if I'm not mistaken.)

The only thing that disappointed me was the ending. But then again, I rarely get satisfied by anime endings, so...
