Chapter 48: Fun and Fucked Over

I wake stressed beyond belief, the night before making me anxious as hell. Eric was completely wasted, and won't remember any of those awkward things I had to do for him, and what insanely inappropriate things he did to me. I'm just glad he was able to get back safely, without harassing me again.

Trying to push the thoughts from my mind, I chuck a pillow at Christina beside me. She groans, half-hazardly throwing her arm across my face, "It's too early Tris, why don't we just sleep a little longer?"

"Because we are going to a cooking class for breakfast, Tori will kick our asses if we're late!" I insist, throwing the blanket onto the floor.

Christina curls up into a ball, her knees pulled to her chest. "No thank you." She mutters, her voice soft like a child's. I jokingly shove her off of the edge of the bed, resulting in a high-pitched scream and an insanely loud thump from the floor.

Lynn shoots up from the bed beside us, but Shauna is able to stay asleep like a rock. Her sister groggily rubs her eyes, the normally bad ass girl seeming tired and lifeless. "Do we really have to get up this early?" Lynn groans, stretching her limbs in odd directions.

I yawn, covering my mouth, before responding, "Well, if you don't want to die via Tori Wu, than we better."

Lynn immediately elbows Shauna, who screams and hits her head on the night desk, and we all finally pull ourselves from the comfort of our beds. Shauna rises from the rough carpeted floor, a red rash quickly appearing on her cheek and a small part of her arm.

"What the actual fuck was that?" She screams, throwing the alarm clock at Lynn, who catches it mid air. "Death via our art teacher is a terrible demise, I hope everyone hurries up already."

"First shower!" I call, before anyone else can bother. Christina groans punching my arm rather harshly.  "Calm your face sweetie, its just five minutes of warm water."

"But I need time to dry my hair, makeup, pick an outfit, brush m-" Her excessive list of morning tasks is cut off my Shauna screeching, "Second shower!"

Chris groans, "That's not fa-" again, her whining words are stopped by Lynn laughing, "Third. Have fun Chrissy!"

She screeches and stomps to her packed bags, "I'll just use dry shampoo and leave in conditioner... like a heathen!"

Before she can ridicule me for her oh-so-awful predicament, I grab an outfit and run to our messy bathroom. The combination of four girls, plus one bathroom, is not the best. Various hair styling tools, skin products, makeup pallettes and brushes, as well as wipes and toiletries are scattered across the double vanity. Somehow, however, it remains organized chaos, each girl having their own cluster of fancy products to use. Luckily, Marlene and Lauren are paired with a few other girls, so we could've had it worse. Both of them use as much product as Christina, whereas Lynn and I are not near as heavy as those three on the matter.

I ignore my constant train of thought, and turn the squeaky clean knob of our fancy shower. The shower head spits once or twice before delivering a constant stream of lukewarm, softened water. I peel of my clothes, which are wrinkled from the movement of sleep, and toss them in an overfilled laundry bin.

The voices of my friends, an impatient Lynn, a calm Shauna, and a pissed off Christina, can surely be heard in the rooms on either side of us. I choose to ignore the shouts and complaints coming through the thin walls, and crawl under the steady flow of the water. The moisture washes away the day of hairspray and sweat from yesterday. With some organic shampoo and a little bit of shaving, my body is back to adorning soft, shiny blonde hair and smooth legs.

I take my sweet time drying off, just a little advantage of washing myself first, before stepping out in an outfit for the day. The girls and I pre-planned similar outfits to one another, all reminiscent of women we've seen here in Europe. The foggy and gloomy day fits our clothing, thank goodness. I myself have on a lavender fit-and-flare dress, with a tan colored trench coat over top. To accessorize, there is some matching flats, a small golden necklace, and stud earrings with a lavender tint to them. Each of us chose a different color, Christina with a red dress and black trench coat, Lynn in a black romper and white trench coat, Shauna with a blue dress and black coat, Lauren with an orange dress and white coat, and Marlene adorning a pink dress and tan coat.

The boys find it adorable when we all match, and we also always look amazing when we do so. After lots of prep and making sure we all look amazing, us four in this room walk out to the lobby, where the entire group is meeting up. The only people that have arrived already are Tori, Will, Tobias, Lauren, Eric, who's insanely hungover, and us. The group is much bigger so we're waiting on many people.

I naturally sashay over to my lovely boyfriend, who adorns a cheeky grin that grows to his ears. "You look fine as wine, like always," He compliments, adding a soft kiss on the cheek to emphasize his kind words.

I smirk, "You look as handsome as ever, my prince." to elaborate even more on my words, I trail kisses on his jaw to his lips.

He smiles into a short, sweet smooch, before Christina pulls us apart. "Seriously? You just woke up, well an hour ago, but you're already kissing?"

I bite my lip, then Tobias snaps back with the response, "It's not like, as I've said, you don't go sneaking off into bathrooms to have fun with yo-"

"Okay! I get it!" Christina shouts, then walks off to her own s.o. I give Tobias another kiss before turning around so he can wrap his arms across my shoulders.

After another thirty minutes or so, about everybody shows up. Tori stands on top of the table in the lobby, and whistles. The noise is so high pitched it catches everyone off guard. We all complain about the awful screech, and she begins the all too familiar Tori talk of the day.

She claps her hands as a final reminder to shut our mouths, "Alright students, and chaperones. For breakfast, we are taking a cooking class with a professional chef. You will be making your own breakfast, and we are not going to get anything after this." She smirks, staring at the Pedrad's, who will inevitably fail. "We have options for those of you with intolerance's and allergies, so don't worry about that. As always, we will treat the professional with respect, be kind and patient. You will not make dick jokes and cackle like witches with your friends, you will listen, write and do as you are told. A little bit of chit chat is okay, but the moment you start disrespecting one another or causing a commotion, you are silent. Am I clear?"

"Yes Tori!" the crowd responds in unison.

She nods in approval of our obedience, "There will be consequences for broken rules. I'm sure you all want to enjoy your time here, so watch what you are doing. With that, let's load up the buses and have a fun time!"

We respond with cheers and whoops, beyond excited for such an interesting experience here. Tobias and I get a seat in the very back, Lynn and Lauren beside us. Tori pushes all of the kids onto the buses, seats filling quickly, and speeds out of the lot as quickly as she legally can.

We arrive in virtually no time, ready for an exciting day.

-----------------------------

I laugh, looking at the flour already covering my small frame, "Four, you dropped the bag right beside me!"

He smirks, responding quickly, "It was obviously an accident!"

I burst into giggles as Tori storms over. To get revenge, I grab a handful of our newly made whipped cream, and attempt to throw it at Tobias. Unfortunately... Tori walks right between us. There's a collective gasp in the room as she wipes it from her eyes, scowling.

"Beatrice... Prior. Do you know what you just started?" She growls.

I gulp, eyes wide, filled with an anxious curiosity, "I-I-"

"You started a food fight loser!" She laughs, throwing some mushed strawberries at me.

I laugh, dodging her fruit fight. The strawberries go straight for Lynn and Lauren, who both scream.

"Please, stop!" The chef pleads, almost sounding like he doesn't really mean it. Before we know what's happening, there's flour, cream, fruits and batter flying everywhere. I barely know which way to turn, but I know it's the most fun I've had since I was here.

---------------------------------

I hop out from the shower, now in a deep red crop top and some plain black leggings. After this mornings situation with breakfast, we decided to keep the rest of the day, except for dinner, empty. Tobias sits on my bed, waiting patiently. His jaw is gritted tight, and when he catches sight of me, he almost seems to scowl.

"What's wrong ba-"

"Don't you dare 'babe' me." He spits, full of hatred.

My eyes immediately begin to water, "Tobias, if this is about breakfast-"

"It has nothing to do with breakfast, it has to deal with last night."

I scrunch up my eyebrows, "All I did last night was help a drunk guy back to his hotel room."

"Is that really all you did, Tris?" Tobias whispers.

I shake my head, "What has gotten into you Toby? I would never do anything to hurt you!"

He holds up his phone, which displays a picture of Eric on top of me, from an anonymous number. "Yeah, that was taken completely out of context." I laugh, wondering how he could be so stupid.

"Was it out of context when his arm was over your shoulder?" He asks, holding a photo of me helping Eric walk in.

"Baby, you can't be serious! How would you believe any of that?" I smile, actually getting nervous.

"How can you claim that both of those pictures just happened to be candid? How can I believe you Beatrice?" He shouts, angry as all hell.

"You want to play that game? Do you want to sit and listen about all the stress and anxiety we've gone through together, then pull this bullshit!" I scream, letting loose for once.

He stands from the bed, close to my face, "I know you slept with Eric! You've been dodging me about something, now it's obvious. Don't think those are the only pictures of you two together!"

"You're just abandoning me because of some random pictures someone sent you!"

"We are through! I can't ever trust you anymore! You always go behind me back to do shit and now this!" He yells, turning around

"I can't believe you would do this to me! I've dedicated so much to you!" I shout, pushing him away.

Tobias turns around, "This is on you. I knew you were being secretive, but this is awful! You can't get mad at me for something you did."

I collapse, falling to the floor with my head in my hands, "I told you, it didn't happen! That's all fake, and I deserve to be furious! You won't even listen to me!"

"Why should I? You are always keeping secrets, how do I know you weren't with Eric?" He shouts, face red with anger.

I pull my body upwards, suddenly not filled with sadness, but a relentless fury that I can't seem to describe, "Tobias, I'm a virgin! You were so respectful of that, careful, mindful, and now you are going to act like I slept with Eric? I would never, he might not be a Peter, but that is not a man I want to give myself to, that's sick!"

"You lied to me about your ribs, almost died, and you're still pissed about that, you lied to me about hanging out with Eric the last two days until an hour ago, and you've been hiding something for weeks. I thought I could ignore it, but guess what? The cat's out of the bag, and you've been caught. How else do you explain a picture of you in a bedroom, Eric on top of you shirtless? Your lips were touching, do you want to tell me how that happened?" Tobias yells, in my face now.

I cower back in the slightest, "I've told you, he was drunk, threw up on his shirt, then tried to make out with me. If you would've checked your sources, you would know I pushed him off right afterwards."

Tobias grabs my wrist harshly, his grip sure to cause a bruise, "You lie about everything else, this is all on you. I'm done with your shit, you've helped me, but that won't get rid of the fact that you are a miserable liar trying to cover up the fact that you cheated on the man that cares more about you than anybody else in the world!"

He yanks my arm and throws me on the ground, and I cry out in pain, "God damn, you're acting like Marcus!" I scream, tears streaming down my cheeks.

Tobias stops dead in his tracks, "What the fuck did you just say?"

I move back to the corner, "I-I can't say sorry. You promised you would never hurt me. You promised that you'd be there through everything. Now that this particular situation isn't in your favor, you're abandoning me. You are acting just like your father."

"He is not my father! I swear if you ever say those words again I-I'll-"

"You'll what? Hurt me again? I think I've had enough of that!" I scream, pulling myself up, "Get out, never talk, never look, never touch me again!"

And just like that. Nothing was ever the same again.
