Landing in Lothrien
A sound of wing beating disturbing the silent peace that laid over Lothlorien. Haldir and his comrades jerked up, alerted. "What is that sound?" One of them said, looking up at the sky. Haldir was about to answer when a perching roar bore over the silent forest. A cracking sound of branches mounted right behind them. The elves turned. Gasp drew from their lips at the sight. Wings gloried behind a horned head. Blue crystal eyes studied the elves, a scaly smile covers the beasts' lips.
"No need for being hostile, elves. My name is Aimmyss, I am the Lady Of The Skies. I mean no harm dor your kin. I am here for the lady of the light." the dragon said, lowering her head to their level. "Then you must follow me," Haldir said as the dragon straightened up. She gave him a short nod. He then turned around and began leading the purple dragon to lady Galadriel.
- a few minutes later-
"So there you have it, my lady. I must go, I cannot hide forever, you know." the purple dragon said as she moved her tongue over her leathery lips. The lady of the light had been talking to her for a few mins and she had told why she had come and what she would do. She knew the daughter of Ancalagon the black had turned from her father's path a long time ago and was wandering around middle-earth, looking for anyone that could need a dragon's help.
"I know, my dear. I will let you go to Rivendell. Our paths will cross again, Haldir escort Lady Aimmyss to a chamber." Haldir nodded and moved over to the purple dragon, who still had her head on the railing. She looked at him with crystal blue eyes, full of interest and love.
Haldir led the purple dragon to her chamber who was right outside Lady Galadriel's garden. It was a big wooden stable, large enough to fit a dragon of this size. He bowed after saying that they had arrived. The dragon mirrored his action before crawling down, laying her long tail around herself. He stared a moment at the sleeping beast. She was indeed beautiful. But hse had nothing of the things that the tales told. She held no lust for blood, nor gold. She pledge herself to help lesser beings, even though her father's wishes peaked with hate against the razes of middle-earth.
"You're staring, Ellon. What is it with me that enchanted you so much?" the dragon's soft voice spoke. "uh- sorry my lady, I'll be going now." he said as he bowed. he quickly left the room, feeling his heartbeat against his chest. What was it with this dragon that made him feel so different? He had a slight tingling in his whole body.
He could hear the dragon's silent chuckle as he walked towards the palace. Aimmyss laid with her head outside the stables, looking up at the dark blanket of stars above her head. She thought of that elf, Haldir. He had perked her interest most. Though thru her many travels had seen many elleons, this one stood out. He tried not to court her, nor seemed he sacred in her presence. she had not shifted to her another form for she liked her beast form the most. She then fell into a dreamless sleep. ---------that's all for this chapter:)-Saph
