Going away

SILVERLODE SHORE, LOTHLÓRIEN - DAWN

I was standing together with the fellowship at the banks of Lothlorien. Galadriel had said that it was time for me to leave Lothlorien. I did not know if we would come back from this alive, but I would do everything in my power so we did. I had gotten to know the fellowship quite fast. Gimli was a dwarf as I could easily see and smell. He was from Durin's folk. Legolas was the prince of Mirkwood, his father I can say I knew well. Aragorn was the heir of the fallen king, Isildur. Boromir was the steward son of Gondor. Frodo was the ring bearer as I already had felt. Sam, his best friend, was his Gardner. Pippin and Merry were inseparable twins.

A green, silver-veined Elven leaf-brooch is clasped. Elves clap elven around on the rest of the fellowship. I did not need one, since I could go invisible if I wished. "Never before have we clad strangers in the garb of our own people." Lord Celeborn says as he addresses us. "May these cloaks help shield you from unfriendly eyes." I incline my head in my hand toward him. I hear him chuckle and then I feel his presence before me. "No need, Lady Aimmyss. You in high poison, just as us," he says warmly. I smile and nod.

SILVERLODE RIVER BANK, LOTHLÓRIEN - DAWN

Legolas grabs a couple of packs and puts them in an Elven boat. Merry and Pippin look up as he pulls a small piece of bread from one of the packs. "Lembas. Elvish waybread," he says as he takes a bite. " One small bite is enough to fill the stomach of a grown man." he ends. He stuffs the remaining piece back in the pack and places it in the boats. Merry and Pippin nod as he walks away. Aimmyss is beside them on the bank. Her eyes wander curiosity over the two. She then asks "How many did you eat?" Pippin looks up and says "Four". Aimmyss smiles before going back to what she was doing.

The Fellowship continues to load the boats for their journey... Legolas helps Gimli and Aimmyss into a boat ... Sam crawls into another boat behind us. He quickly reveals he has no measure of sea legs. Aimmyss chuckles silently and whips her hand gently towards his boat to steady it. He looks with wide eyes at her but mouth thanks. Aimmyss lifts her head when she hears Lord Celebron talking to Aragorn who is still on the bank of the river.

"Every league you travel south, the danger will increase. Mordor Orcs now hold the eastern shore of the Anduin. Nor will you find safety on the western bank." he tells Aragorn. Aimmyss follows them with her eyes as they walk toward the river. "Strange creatures bearing the White Hand have been seen on our borders. Seldom do Orcs journey in the open under the sun, yet these have done so." Lord Celeborn says. He then holds a dagger out to Aragorn. Aragorn takes the dagger and unsheathes it. It is a beautiful, yet deadly work of art.

"Le aphadar aen." Lord Celeborn says in elvish. Aragorn replaces the dagger in its sheath. "By the river, you have the chance of outrunning the enemy to the Falls of Rauros." Lord Celeborn says.

SILVERLODE RIVER BANK - DAWN

The Fellowship is in three small Elven boats. Elves quietly watch them depart.  Aimmyss turns her head to Legolas. It looks like he's remembering something. Aimmyss uses her power to see his mind. '

-FlashBack-

"My gift for you, Legolas, is a bow of the Galadhrim. Worthy of the skill of our woodland kin." Lady Galadriel says. Legolas lifts an elegant Bow and tests its strength. Galadriel smiles and walks to Merry and Pippin. Merry removes a dagger from its sheathe and gazes upon it. "These are the daggers of the Noldorin. They have already seen service in war." Lady Galadriel says. Pippin looks upon his gift with the fear he may have to use it. He casts his eyes upon Galadriel.

"Do not fear, young Peregrin Took. You will find your courage." Galadriel says softly. She then moves to Sam. "And for you, Samwise Gamgee, Elven rope made of hithlain." She says. Sam bows to her, accepting his gift. "Thank you, my lady." He looks at Merry and Pippin, and then back to Galadriel. "Have you run out of those nice, shiny daggers?" he asks hesitantly.

Galadriel smiles, and Sam holds onto his rope, embarrassed. She moves on to Gimli, who stares at the ground in her presence. "And what gift would a Dwarf ask of the Elves?" she says. Gimli shakes his head quickly. Galadriel sees Aimmys raise an eyebrow but says nothing. a smile is on her lips. "Nothing," Gimli says. He looks up at her. "Except to look upon the lady of the Galadhrim one last time for she is fairer than all the jewels beneath the earth." Galadriel and Aimmyss chuckle softly.

Gimli scowls at his foolishness and turns away. He recovers and turns back to her. "Actually... There was one thing. No, no, I couldn't. It's quite impossible. Stupid to ask."

-End Of Flashback-

Aimyss smiles as she watches Gimli ride silently before her. She sees him closes his eyes, allowing the memory to flood into his head. Aimmyss then turns to Aragorn.

-INSERT FLASHBACK-

Galadriel stands before Aragorn. "I have nothing greater to give than the gift you already bear.  She touches the Evenstar Pendant Aragorn wears. "Am meleth dîn. I ant e-guil Arwen Undómiel ... pelitha." *For her love, I fear the grace of Arwen Evenstar ... will diminish. " she says "Aníron I e broniatha ar periatham amar hen. Aníron e ciratha a Valannor." *I would have her leave these shores, and be with her people. I would have her take the ship to Valinor," he says back.

"That choice is yet before her. You have your own choice to make, Aragorn." Galadriel says as she smiles. Aragorn straightens before her. "To rise above the height of all your fathers since the days of Elendil or to fall into darkness with all that is left of your kin." Aimmyss lowers her eyes, a sad frown is on her lips. She does not know why.

"This is for you, Princess  Aimmyss. Your mother gave this to the elves as a token of our friendship, it is yours now" Galadriel says as she hands  Aimmyss a stone. The stone is clad in Crystals and the middle, an eye is embedded. It has the same color as  Aimmyss's eyes who is Blue.  Aimmyss nods and takes the stone gently. She then closes her eyes and feels her mother's power flood thru her veins.

Aimmyss sigh and open  her eyes. She then tucks the stone in her pocket.

-end of flasgback-

Aimmyss looks over at Frodo. She uses her power to see his memories.

-INSERT FLASHBACK-

Galadriel gives Frodo a small  crystal phial. "I give you the light of Eärendil, our most beloved star." She says. She then leans over and kisses his head. Aimmyss smile soflty.

-END FLASHBACK-

As the Fellowship's boats drift past, Galadriel stands alone, watching from the banks of the river. In his head, Frodo still hears her voice... "May it be a light for you in dark places, when all other lights go out." Gimli riding at the head of his boat, paddled by Legolas.  Aimmyss sits between them. "I have taken my worst wound at this parting having looked my last upon that which is fairest. Henceforth I will call nothing fair unless it be her gift to me." Gimli says suddenly. "What was her gift?" Legolas asks his friend. "I asked her for one hair from her golden head. She gave me three." Gimli said. Both Legolas and Aimmyss sniles.

 RIVER ANDUIN - DAY

The boats pass into the Great river Anduin.  The Three elven  boats carry the Fellowhsip steadily southward. Green trees  slowly give way to a brown and withered land.

 FOREST - DAY

The Uruk forces are running through the trees with deadly purpose.

RIVER ANDUIN - DAY

A flock of birds circle high above, black against the pale sky. Aimmyss growl at them, before sitting up In the boat, her dragon claws growing on her fingers, wings grwol seintly on her back. Razor-sharp teeth form in her mouth. LEgolas notice this and he his both awestruck and worried.

"Whats wrong, Ami?" he says as he reach out to touch her wings. Just like elves shiver when someone touches their ears, she does when someone touch her wings. "Oh, I'm sorry if i starled you" legoals said and attracted his hand. "I hear a sound, the animals in the forest are restless. A deadly group is running through the forest. We should be careful, they are closer than we think." Aimmyss said as she looked towards where the black birds had flown up from. Legolas nodded and continued paddling.

RIVER ANDUIN BANKS - NIGHT

The three boats are safely stored on the bank out of the water. Boromir hides behind a rock watching the river. A log  floats down the river. A hand grasps the log and pulls itself onto it. Who or whatever it is seems to be trying to remain concealed from the eyes of the Fellowhip. Aimmyss approaches from behind Boromir. "Gollum. I smell that he has tracked you since Moria." Aimmys says as she watch Gollum. Aragorn then appears. "I had hoped we would lose him on the river." The 3 continue watching Gollum.

"But he's too clever a waterman." Aragorn ends. Aimmyss nods before giving Gollum a last galnce. She then walks to the fire place. She can hear Aragon and Boromir continue talking about Gollum. She knows his story too. It's a sad one. "And if he alerts the enemy to our whereabouts, it will make the crossing even more dangerous." she hears Boromir says.

She then turns her head to Frodo and see him listens to the exchange between Aragorn and Boromir. He looks worried.

" Dont worry, Master Frodo. If he ever tries to take the ring, he will have to go through me first" Aimmyss says as she sends Frodo a soft smile. Frodo smiles back. Boromir turns away from the rock to Aragorn. "Minas Tirith is the safer road. You know that. From there we can regroup. Strike out for Mordor from a place of strength." he says. "There is no strength in Gondor that can avail us." Aimmys suddenly pipes in. Aragorn nods.

"You were quick enough to trust the Elves." Boromir says. "I trust them because i was there for Lady Galadriel, she was the only one who had answers." Aimmyss says. She is a little irritated with this man of Gondor but she tries not to show it. "What do you mean?" Legolas suddenly says as he stits down beside her. Aimmyss sighs. "My lifre story is not a lulaby, Legolas. It's full of murder, bakcstabbing and other stuff you humans would not survive." she says. Her eyes is boring into legolas, a look of sadness is on her face.

"Mind telling us?" Pippin says as he comes over. The rest of the Fellowhip nods and gather around the firepalce. "Well, since you want it, Master Pippin. But I must warn you, this is not a story made for men." Aimmyss takes a deep breath before she begins to tell her childhood story. "My father was the Lord of the dragons in our kingdom but he liked to think that all dragons would bow to his will. That was where he wast wrong. I defied him one day and ended up being thrown in jail. My mother cried for several days. She refused to eat, sleep and other things to do. All the time she came down to me with food and drink on a plate. I could see all those days but crying was visible on her. I felt guilty of it. But she said it was not my fault I had done the right thing. But no matter what she said, nothing changed.

"Several months later my father told me to be released. I do not know if it was out of love or reputation that he released me but it meant little to me. Hours later I was brought before him in the throne room. He asked the guards to let us be alone. I had long feared him but now I was angry. 'Daughter, I'm sorry for how I've been to you. But my lord, Morgoth no longer wants you in my service seat. a  couple of days. I was surprised to say the least. I left just the next day. My mind wandered and I burned down the whole forest. Many of the inhabitants who lived in that forest lost their lives that day. I then realized that I did not belong in my father's kingdom. I had to get away, far from the realm of dragons. Well, that's why I ended up here, in middle-earth. "Aimmyss took a break before sliding her head into her hands lying on her knees.

The fellowship was quiet. Merry and Pippin withdrew and went to their sleeping place. Boromir did the same. Frodo, Legolas and Aragorn just sat next to her. Finally, Aimmyss raised her head. "I'm going to bed, Good night."

Thats all :)
