I let my eyes flutter open to see my plain white ceiling and groan, I sit up throwing my covers off of me, my bed is about 2 1/2 feet off the ground I notice as I swing my legs over, my feet barely touching the ground and I jump off the slight jolt doing absolutely nothing to me, I'm used to it. I sigh and pick up my blanket tossing it over my shoulders to keep me warm as I walk over to my closet, it's Saturday so no need to hurry and or dress in my school clothes, I look out the window and shiver seeing the dark, stormy clouds and winds blowing the trees to the side, it's gonna be cold. I drop my blanket from around me and shiver at the massive temperature difference, I quickly grab my dark grey sweatpants and very dark blue long sleeved top and toss on my black jacket, I'm home alone again so I don't care what I dress in, it's not like anyone is gonna see me. I waddle to the living room with my blanket wrapped tightly around me, once I sit down on one of our couches I grab the remote and turn the tv on Jack and Kim appear on the screen, a new episode of Kickin it.... This is the life... As I relax I feel along the lining of my belt and feel my dagger hanging there if by any chance I needed it for some reason, I hear a rustle to my right from the door but being the oblivious vlakkas (idiot) that I am I ignore it and keep looking at my 2 favorite characters on the show "Just get together already!" I yell at the screen and right when Jack opens his mouth to answer some huge dark figure shatters through the glass wall and I immediately rip my dagger out, it's sharpened stainless steel blade glistening in the sunlight. The creature stands still, long enough for me to identify or describe it, it looks like a huge black dog and I can only see it's backside, the creature sniffs around and growls turning abruptly to face me, those eyes.... I shudder at the sight of the big black orbs, no pupil, no iris and no white, my breathing picks up as hy heart pumps so fast I think it'll explode. What. the Hell. is that? I take as involantary step back as the thing growls, revealing sharp white teeth the size of my thumbs and as thick as it too, what do I do?! Do I  stab it? As it growls again I jump back and I am glad I did as it snaps at the spot I used to be and I bring my dagger down on the thing's head, the blood spattering but not onto my shirt or the flood, as the blood drips it turns into spiders and snakes, I scream and jump away, letting the dog fall down dead and shimmer away. I pant with wide eyes "what the hell just happened?!" I ask myself

3rd person's POV 

The next few months Ilah sharpened her swords, daggers and arrows, training more and more and more until she was practically a master with a sword, dagger and bow, she was internally scared that she would get attacked once again and was readying herself for the worst. She trained, trained and trained again, she started understanding what had happened, she decided she was attacked by a hellhound and started believing in the Greek gods

Ilah's POV

Slash, hack, duck, turn and stab, I look at the trashed training dummy as it falls, my sword's point at it's throat, I sheath my sword and walk to the door and back into the house with a smile finally done with the training I found neccesary to durvive since I am a demigod, that statement brings back the one question that I can never answer: who is my godly parent? I hate fire, small places and people that try to control me and love the ocean, adventure and being free, I also hate bullies, any type of abuse and people who break another down in any way but I fear small spaces that I cannot turn around and losing the people I love. I have no idea who my parent is, all I can do is say no this is not my parent like: Hades since I fear death, Demeter since I hate agriculture, Percephone since I have no power over plants, Ares since I live in peace, Aphrodite since I hate pink and make-up and not Herphaestus, I don't forge. So that leaves Apallo, Athena, Zeus, Poseidon I guess but my skin is ice cold so probably should eliminate Apallo too and so there were 3 but it's probably Poseidon
