Ilah's POv

I hurried to the amphitheatre for dinner, realizing that i'm actually hungry, I sit down and take my food, then sacrifice some of my dinner to my dad, hope he doesn't get sick of salad so when I sit back down the seven, the hunters, Nico and Donovan are there "why do you always sacrifice your salad?" Annabeth asks. I smirk "that my dear....is the most secrety secret secretness ever, it is classified information" I tell her, doing my best spy impression "in other words, she doesn't like salad" Donovan says and I pout.

Everyone laughs as we all get up and head to the campfire "you ruined my fun! I was about to go all spy on her" I complain and he rolls his eyes "guess what I've got?" Leo says and then takes out some Skittles, the hunters see and their eyes widen "no! Don't give her Skittles! Are you mad?!" Thalia demands. I put on my best innocent little girl look and he motions to me but while he looks away I give my signature devilish grin before switching back when he looks back.

He hands me a hand full and the hunters tackle me but I mutter a spell and telleport a few feet away, I look at them all and do my best maniacal laugh while the onlookers either smile, laugh or roll their eyes "uh-oh" Phoebe mutters as I gulp down the Skittles "what is it Thalia?" Chiron asks when he sees her expression "Leo gave Ilah Skittles and from previous experience it's not good" Thalia says. Phoebe nods and so do the other hunters "hey I'm not that bad" I defend but they just give me a look and I give them a goofy grin.

"I can at least control it like I did back at school" i say and they think about it "at least as we remain human, you don't start jumping around and I don't end up with an eagle's head...again" Thalia says glaring at me for the last bit and I have to bite my lip to keep from laughing but fail epically, I end up on the floor holding my stomach and laughing. Thalia glares 'again?" Percy asks and I laugh harder and conger up a mist-like flashback that everyone can see.

In the mist it was old-times, me and the hunters sitting around a fire laughing and talking with our bows and arrows alung over our shoulders and our jackets unzipped, I was talking to Phoebe and Thalia when Phoebe hands me a packet of Skittles "ok we can stop here" I say almost ready to swipe my hand through the mist "nu-uh" Thalia says and I sigh with a smile. Back in the picture I tear open the packet and eat the Skittles then....my eyes widen "wow! These are great! can I have some more?" I ask.

Phoebe hands me another packet and in 5 minutes I'm jumping around like a ADHD bunny who put too much sugar in his Sugar-O's and the girls try to tackle me I just giggle and transport 3 feet away then turn everybody into chickens besides Phoebe, Thalia and about 5 others so while I'm laughing they tackle me but I once again transport away. Next thing i know Thalia has an eagle's head, Phoebe has a deer's feet, the other have other random animal's body parts.

In real life Thalia slashes her hand through the mist while I laugh my ass off "that is why we have strict rules about Skittles: Never give her any" Thalia explains and I pout, Percy, Leo, Donovan, Frank, Piper and Nico who were trying not to laugh a second ago burst out laughing while the rest just smile at us. Thalia glares but I can see the smile on her face, Chiron actually looks at me with an eyebrow raised "don't worry" I tell him and he nods, still looking at me suspiciously.

I sit down at the fire with my friends but the hunters stay away from the boys once again "some things never change, do they?" I ask them and they smile at me "why not sing us a song?" they ask, they immediately see my face wary "you can control your power right?" Thalia asks and I nod "good, you scared the living Hades out of me last time-you know if Hades can be living" she says and I smile. I take a deep breath "fine but only if...." I say looking far into the woods.

They seem to become agitated "what?" Thalia asks impatiently "remember this is our song?" I ask and she nods "only if we all do it, like back when I was a hunter" I say and their eyes narrow but I only give them my best puppy dog eyes, Thalia looks away and I resort to drastic measures, I sit on her foot like a little kid, still pouting with puppy eyes. She groans "hey Leo?" I ask turning my head to him but still not getting off Thalia's foot "yeah?" he asks with a smile and i can see that I'm tonight's main entertainment.

I wanna get up and bow but that would mean getting off Thalia's foot, which means she might get away, which means that It'll take a while to catch her, which means it would be about lights-out, which means that we'd have to continue tommorrow, which means that Leo won't have Skittles, which means that I won't have an excuse, which means I won't think of it which means that I won't get a chance like this again which in conclusion means that I'm not getting off. Thalia starts trying to walk, dragging me along but I cling for dear life "fine! Just get off!" she yells finally in defeat and I cheer.

I get off her foot and start doing the happy dance while everyone just laughs at me but in the kind of way that makes it seem homey and I bow sarcastically and Donovan sees the challenge and starts clapping sarcastically as well and I start joining in, the people look at us weirdly until I stick my toungue out at him and he does it back to me. 

Me, Thalia and the hunters sit down around the fire on the ground (the song will be in dialogue)

Thalia: So let's sing Na Na Na Na Na hey ya, come on and sing Na Na Na Na Na hey ya

Me: this is our song that's all that matters 'cause we all belong right here together 

Both: There's nothin' better than singin' along, this is our summer

Thalia: and this is our song

Phoebe: playing guitar

Phoebe: come grab your guitar

Me and Phoebe: sit by the fire 

Phoebe and Thalia: 'cause we all need a song

all 3: when we're weary and tired

Phoebe: we'll sit here

Thalia: together, and sing it out

Me: and sing it out loud!

All hunters: this is our song that's all that matters 'cause we all belong right here together, we're stronger than ever when we're singin' along

Thalia: this is our summer

Me: and this is our song

we finish laughing and smiling like idiots, just like old times
