Poseidon's POV

I watch as my daughter reverses her vow to the huntresses from Olympus and Artemis sighs "such a good huntress" she says "yes yes but I have great plans for her" Aphrodite says and I frown "don't you think you've tortured her enough?" I ask but she just rolls her eyes "back on subject!" Zeus yells as thunder rumbles, dramatic as Zeus always is. I sigh and turn to my brother "Poseidon, your child, your second one none the less is powerful as your other, we must get her to camp as soon as possible, though you may never interfere with her life. Ever" he says.

What he doesn't know is that I have helped her, I gave her that bit of confidence that she needed to stand up to that putrid girl who is always shoving her around even though she thanked Artemis, I sent her that dagger and I help her....sometimes but no more than Percy, the 2 are equal to me. I sigh and nod begrudgingly until I realize something, a loophole "but brother, Percy made us swear to keep in touch with our children" I say and thunder and lightning crack across the sky but I stand my ground none the less.

We all know that this is true which means I have to interfere with her life no matter what and my brother isn't going to stop me "fine" Zeus says begrudgingly and I smirk but look down to try and mask it but Athena notices and scoffs "anyway! We need to get her to camp!" I say and everyone nods, even Athena but we all nod anyway "how?" Apollo asks "well you'll get her, tell her your a friend who will take her somewhere safe" Athena purposes and I agree, it's a plan.

Zeus looks over the other Olympians and they all agree so we watch as Apollo gets on his sun chariot and flies over to her all day.

TIME SKIP TO WHEN THE SUN COMES UP THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD

When he finally gets to Africa he stops at her school, uh -oh this can't be good "we did not plan that she will be at school" Athena says and we all nod again, why are we all agreeing today?! Anyway we see that school just started and Apollo being who he is walks into the class and calls "Ilah?!" and Wave stands up but I can see her daggers ready to come out of her sleeves.

Apollo motions for her to follow him outside and surprisingly she does but you can see that she's ready to defend herself if deemed necessary, he tells her our little story but Wave doesn't buy it " I want a name" she says folding her arms over her chest stubbornly,guess she and Percy get that from me  "Fine! Apollo, god of the sun, music, prophesies etc" he says and Athena face-palms "he wasn't supposed to reveal that! That was not part of my plan!" she yells. "Lord Apollo"  Ilah says bowing down to him but he motions for her to get up and when she does tells her to get on his motorbike which is flaming hot  by the way which means that it is so hot it could burn her but I know my nephew won't do that, not to her.

He knows that I am protective over my children and if any gods harm them I will fight back, sounds like Hera got to me- which she didn't!- I think.....anyway....

We all watch tensely as Ilah gets on the bike as Apollo revvs it as she wraps her arms around him and he smirks "oh no my daughter is not going to fall for a god" I say and Aphrodite's smile drops back in the picture Ilah's class looks out to see them and gape at them, well I can't blame them the two are acting like a couple but I swear if Apollo even thinks about it I will drown him. Anyway again back to the 2, we watch as they drive down the road until they are out of sight and then the bike lifts of into the sky and Ilah after a bit of struggling falls asleep on the bike so Apollo puts it back into sports car  mode and sets her in the back seat.

after a day they get to Camp Half Blood but Apollo just stops about a quarter mile from the camp's border "why is he stopping?" I ask "he can't show his kids that he's personally dropping off a demi-god" Athena tells me and I sigh "at least wake her up please" I ask. Zeus smirks "oh I'll wake her up" he says lifting his master bolt but I get up too "no, you will not hurt her" I say. His eyes flash dangerously.

"both you and Hades broke the oath twice, with the same women none the less!" I yell, making a point and Apollo flashes in "uhm....wrong time I see, I'll be driving the sun chariot now" he says trying to leave "oh no you don't! Your not leaving here until this matter is resolved like a family!" Hera says with a commanding edge to her voice and he sighs "do I have  to?" he asks and she glares "fine" he grumbles and sits down on his super bright throne.

"my only Greek demigod child is Thalia, the other one is Roman" he objects to my previous statement, obviously not happy about me bringing that up again "doesn't matter! You still broke the oath twice!" I yell, feeling my temper flare and the throne room shake with a small earthquake "Poseidon! Calm down!" Athena yells angrily as she shakes on her throne, okay so maybe it wasn't such a small earthquake but it wasn't a big one. No biggie

I scoff "at least Hades doesn't try to justify his actions and he isn't trying to annihilate my daughter!" I yell indignantly and Hades raises his hands "I'm not....yet" he says with a smirk "UGH! Why?! Why do you want to kill my daughter and my son?!" I yell. I get a flashback to the time I claimed Percy 

flashback

I just claimed Percy Jackson as my son, in the middle of the throne room and let me tell you...it's chaos! Zeus is yelling at me and threatening me to kill him and I'm yelling back at him telling him not to, Hera and Demeter and Hestia are trying to make peace while Aphrodite keeps filing her nails and applying lip-gloss, Dionysus is asleep under a wine magazine, Hades isn't here, Hermes, Hephaestus, Athena, Artemis and the rest are just looking back and forth between me and my brother.

"we made an oath Poseidon!" Zeus yells at me "you did too, remember?!" I yell back, knowing I'm bringing up a sensitive subject "yes I know I broke the oath and look at where it got me!" he yells and I laugh "she's still alive Zeus! My son isn't such a big deal!" I yell "he stole my master bolt!" Zeus yells and I groan "I did not have my son steal your bolt Zeus!" I yell but he scoffs "yeah right! You have until the summer solstice to have him return the bolt" he tells me.

"your still accusing me of being a thief?!" I yell and he pretends to think about it "one wait two words.....golden net" he says with a ferocious glare " that was centuries ago!" I yell but he's stubborn as rocks " Well I want an apology for being called a thief by the summer solstice too" I tell him and he growls, coiling up and getting ready to attack but Hestia intervenes "my lords! This is foolish! Stop fighting this instant!" she yells, the fire in her eyes flickering with a slight anger.

I turn my back to Zeus in a childish manner and so does my brother, I can't believe he called me a theif, not my style!

end of flashback

I snap back into the present " because you broke the oath! And I do not know how but you managed to have a child outside of the western civilization!" he yells and the thunder clashes louder and lightning clashes right next to Wave which I notice because a sharp movement comes from the screen "she's awake" Apollo says with a dreamy expression. "you did break the oath too Zeus and Apollo" I sau turning to the young god "touch my daughter and I will drown you or run you through with my trident" I say and then I turn to Aphrodite "do not dare" I say plainly.

Ilah's POV

A loud boom roars overhead and I sit up as lightning strikes right next to me and I jump up, what did I do to make Zeus angry now? I didn't do nothing bad that I know of, did I? Nope, nothin that I can think of, a small growl erupts from the bushes beside me, the clearing's side opposite of me, oh no growls are never good. I feel up my sleeves and thankfully feel my 2 daggers, all I have to do is unsheathe them and use them, you know depending on what the thing is

 this....this thing steps out of the bushes, nothing I've seen before it does have a snake's lower body but not 2 snake trunks like dracaenae but one solid tail and then a beautiful face which is spoiled by 2 pointy fangs protruding from her mouth "s-stop" I yell trying to keep the fear out of my voice but I can hear my voice quiver. The thing laughs and advances slowly, what I do next is a cowardly thing to do but I couldn't stop it if I wanted to....I turn and run

I hear the sound of a snake slithering across the clearing behind me, a large snake but I keep running up the steep hill while lightning rains down from the sky "are you trying to kill me?!" I yell up at the sky hoping for it to stop but all that happens is a lightning bolt rains down particularly close to me "I'll take that as a yes" I whisper and although I'll never admit it.....I'm scared, tired and sad now. The only people I can depend on really and their trying to kill me, well not all of them but my two uncles at least.

I keep running as the slope gets higher "where am I going?" I ask myself but I know I have no answer, actually I just realize I was picked up by a god, driven or flew here and dropped off at a clearing in the middle of no-where and why? Just to kill me? Or did Apollo want to deliver me? Does Zeus need me here to kill me? All these questions are making my head hurt so I focus on the ground as I run, tree roots, stones, leaves and branches litter the ground so I have a sneaking suspicion that this is a forest and I'm running up a hill.

The slithering of the snake gets louder and closer with a hiss, it's getting closer. I make the mistake of looking back, I see it maybe 20 feet back but I trip over something and feel a sharp pain in my leg and then the sensation of blood running down my lower thigh "shit" I whisper and get up but soon notice that I can't run without a limp "I have you now sssspawn of the sssea" the thing laughs out evilly but I keep running no matter the pain.

I keep going, slower now so that thing is catching up fast until I get to this pine tree "give up! Lord Hadessss wantsss you dead child" the thing says and for a moment I am frozen in fear, I can take on as many monsters as I want but I can't take on a god! Let alone 2! But in that small time that I'm petrified the thing catches up and laughs evilly 'give up child, there issss nobody here to protect you now" she says and I can't help but partially believe her.

She lunges and my ADHD acts up as I side-step a slash with her...claws? ok.....I slide my daggers out of my sleeves and grip them both tightly, the one is the one that dad gave to me mortal steel blade double edge of course with no grip but these bubbles to keep my fingers in place and the entire hilt is made out of ming? All I know is that it's greenish with white mixed in. My second dagger has a beautiful decorated blade with a grip of black leather with gold strands twisted in and decorated with the American flag and an eagle- wings spread- and the date 1560-1863 printed on it.

I get both daggers into a backward grip and tighten my grip as my back hits a massive tree oh...daggers? Really sweety? And mortal steel none the less" the thing says sympathetically but I shake my head, this thing is trying to kill me it isn't my friend! I lift my head in courage with determination shining in my eyes "go away" I say and she laughs "I. Said. Go. Away!" I yell and she seems actually shocked at my tone of voice.

She hisses and all fear vanishes from my system as adrenaline washes over me like a tidal-wave "thank you dad" I whisper as she attacks and I block a claw to my neck with an x "I told you to go away, now your at my mercy" I say bravely, acting more brave than I felt but nothing mattered other than killing the beast. I throw slash after slash and stab after stab and I land a few hits but so does she.

I decide to end the fight and since she expects me to attack with my daggers I drop them and in her moment of surprise I attack with my karate, not giving her time to attack me back until I decide that I've had enough. I grab her neck, do a knee to her face and twist it fast to snap her neck but it only disorientates her but I do get a fang and I keep it, a spoil of war. Then I grab my daggers and run past the tree but when she tries to follow it's like she slams into a border or barrier of some sorts.

I keep running but it's downhill and after a while I trip over something and as the adrenaline leaves me I feel pain and my limbs feel like lead, I can't move, after a while some nice people in orange shirts come over and call a person, ok so either I'm hallucinating or there is a centaur right in front off me "take her to the infirmary" the centaur orders and a bunch of kids with blonde hair and blue eyes pick me up, taking me to what I presume is the infirmary.

The last thing I hear before I lose consciousness is a boy with black hair and blue eyes and another boy coming in :hey guy-who is that and what happened?" The bley eyes boy asks, the other boy turns and I see...Donovan?! "wait I-Ilah?!" Donovan asks wide eyed and coming to my side and as I fade I hear him mutter "no, please don't let her die now or be one of us" and then....black

I wake up with a cold cloth to my forehead "sleeping beauty is awake!" The boy with the blue eyes yells "Wave, the name's Wave, what's your name?" I ask trying to get up but I must have tried to get up a bit too fast cause my vision swims "wow there, you lost quite a bit of blood in battle" the boy says handing me a glass, my fingers feel weak but I force myself to get a grip an my fear or whatever this is and on the glass too "I still need a name" I tell him taking a sip of the apple juice coloured drink but it tastes nothing like apple juice.

It tastes like my grandmother's sweet cookies which she always gave me before we went to Mozambique and it's delicious, I have to admit "oh sorry my name's Percy, Percy Jackson" he says and I almost do a spit take "son of Poseidon, book series Percy?" I ask and he nods "they published it to tell demi-gods about themselves, don't know why they chose me though" he says with a shrug "your deeds were great" I tell him.

Shit this is my brother but I haven't been claimed yet "well hi, I'm Ilah Johanson, 14 years old, from South Africa but was brought here for my safety, I pat my leg and feel something in my pocket, I pull it out and see a fang "I forgot I had this" I whisper and put it back. Now to get up and see Donovan too, I swing my legs over the side and even after all Percy's objections I get up and after standing a bit to stop my vision from swimming I walk onto the porch.

I see a centaur, Donovan and a guy that looks like Mr. D sitting at a table playing what I guess is pinochle so I pull up a chair and sit down "hello brat" Mr. D says and I scoot away a little more, not very nice. oh well. I look at Donovan and Chiron "well child welcome to Camp Half-Blood" chiron says and I smile "thank you Chiron" I say and he raises an eyebrow "you-?" "yes I know about the gods, I've been surviving a demigod on my own since I was 11 so about 3 years and yes I do have my weapon-wait where are my daggers?!" I ask panicked, I never go without my daggers

Donovan grabs my wrist " here you go" he says handing my daggers to me and I pull up my sleeves really fast, sheath my daggers and pull my sleeves down "so I don't have to explain uhm you should be claimed by tonight so why don't you show her around Percy?" Chiron asks but Donovan stands up "I will, we know each other" he explains and Chiron nods. Me and Donovan walk down the steps, I have all these questions but I don't want to be the first to talk

He shows me the pavilion, the arena, the lake, the armoury, the lake, the rock climbing walls and the cabins "you should be claimed by tonight" he says awkwardly "uhm well, what now?" I ask equally awkward and he shrugs "we need to talk don't we?" he asks and I nod "well I'm a son of Nike, goddess of victory" he says giving me a slight bow to which I laugh "and I'm undetermined" I say with a smirk "you know who your parent is?" he asks and I nod "tell me?" he asks but I shake my head "you'll see when he claims me" I say with even more of a smirk.

I turn and run playing with him and he knows it so he follows me laughing at my childishness "oh come on! You gotta do better than that!" I yell, tapping into my speed that I learned while I was part of the huntresses and he tries to keep up but I don't let him catch me but we have to stop because the conch horn blows and I follow him to the pavilion "uhm...where do I sit?" I ask him and he motions to the less crowded than in the stories Hermes table so I sit down and once I see everyybody's eyes on me I retract and blend in.

Everybody gets their food and scrapes some part of it into the fire and I actually do know which name to say "Poseidon" I say quietly and throw my entire salad in there "i don't eat salad" i say defensively as Donovan looks at me angrily but I just smile at him and he rolls his eyes. I sit down and eat my nymph-cut meat and make my cup fill with blue Pepsi and Percy laughs as he says that "what? Never seen blue Pepsi before?" I yell over the tables and everyone laughs and it seems like home. Aint gonna last long though I'm gonna get separated once i get claimed but at least I can try to please my dad and get my uncles to stop trying to kill me.

After dinner we all go to the campfire where the Apollo cabin sings but I can see everyone glancing at me every now and then, waiting for my dad to claim me but I want to at least sing a song first so I ask one of the Apollo kids to et me sing a song and he of course agrees, now to keep my power under control. You see I don't have hydrokinesis like Percy, I have a different power which you will find out in due time my dear friend

I take a deep breath as the kids stop singing and know that this is my chance so I hide in the bushes and sing this is me by demi Lovato

I finish softly, stepping out of the shadows at the last 3 lines and surprising them all, might as well make then even more shocked "now please dad"  I whisper, somehow knowing that he's listening and next thing I know the entire world has a green-ish tint to it "all hail, Ilah Johanson, daughter of Poseidon, god of the seas, father of horses, earth shaker" Chiron says while kneeling. After all the kneeling Percy runs up to me "so I have a sister?" he asks and I nod " seaweed brain" I say and Annabeth bursts out laughing "hey!" Percy yells but he's also laughing.

"so that's your parent" Donovan says and I smile "yep, I also have my 2 uncles after my head because I was attacked by this thing sent by Hades and lightning raining down on me" I say shivering at the memory and gripping my daggers tight. Donovan pulls me into a hug and Percy joins and after Annabeth arrives she also joins and we all just kind of hug there "you know that kind of reminds me of my first year here, both uncles want me dead, claimed, hunted" Percy says and Annabeth winces.

I smile at her and she smiles back "Ilah" I say hugging her, what I'm a hug person? She hugs back and says "I know, your arrival and claiming spread like wildfire, Annabeth" she says "I know, I read the books" I tell her and she rolls her eyes at my dopey grin "you are just like your brother you are" she tells me looking between me and Perce "but you look totally different "I know, Percy looks a lot like dad and I look like a surfer chick with my blonde hair" i tell her and she laughs "yes I noticed, can you bend water?" she asks.

Always curious, I shake my head no "no I cannot, I have a....slightly different power" I say with an evil glint in my eye and she raises an eyebrow "you'll figure it out when I use it but it's a last resource so not gonna be easy, but the water does heal me though" I tell her and her eyes shine with determination "oh I'll get it figured out" she says. I laugh and walk with Percy to my new cabin, cabin number three or san or tres (English, Japanese for 3, Spanish for 3), dad's cabin as a storm passes over but skirts over the valley.
