I was simply walking along the shore of the of the beach, when suddenly my best, and only, friend Courtney came running towards me. It was dark, but his legs looked somewhat out of shape. And he appeared to new wearing fuzzy jeans? When he finally reached me, he was out of breath.

"Didn't. You're. Mom. Tell. You. To. Go. Home. Before. The. Sun. Sets?" He pants. Yes, I did remember a brief warning to be home,but it was only a little dark right? I nodded, but not really caring.. Then, he grabbed my arm and began to drag me away, towards my apartment. I finally got a good look at his legs. Yep, weird brown fuzzy jeans, and shiny black shoes.

I was just about to comment on the new outfit when I heard a low growl. Courtney froze, and a so did I. When I turned around, I swear I saw a dog the size of a dump truck. I screamed, but when I did these weird colors swirled around me. The dog whimpered and cowered, then turned and ran away.

Courtney looked at me with awe. " Kori? " the color around me disappeared, leaving me feeling tired.

"Um, yeah?" I said, my eyes drooping.

" What was th-" that was all I heard before I fell asleep.

The dream was vivid, almost real.

There I was, in some battlefield, standing by two very injured looking teens, looking fierce. One was a  blonde haired girl and gray eyes. The other was a boy with raven hair and sea green eyes. Then I looked up. I saw a huge man with a tornado for a face? I don't know, but it looked awsome!  Until he sucked up some six armed thing. He was approaching us slowly. Suddenly, he throws the girl behind him, and over a cliff. Then........

Nothing. That's it. I had woken up. I opened my eyes to see a blonde guy with blue eyes looking at me. He called something over his shoulder, and Courtney came over. I sat up and started crying. I don't know why, but I had some type of connection to her. Courtney reached over to hug me. Then to pat my back.

"Kori? What's wrong?"  He asked, honestly confused.

"It- it was just a dream." I stuttered, mentally scolding myself for looking weak in front of Courtney and this stranger. I took a deep breath and said, "Where are we?"

By the time the tour of camp was over, I still had one question. "Whose my godly patent?"

"We don't know yet. Ever talk to sea animals? Build beyond your dreams? Grow plants unnaturally fast? It depends."

No, nothing strange in my life other than this camp. "I don't know of any unusual events." I told him. The a horn sounded.

"Dinner!" Courtney said, running towards the pavilion. I was about to dig into my food when everyone stood and walked over to a fire. Then they threw some of their food in. Wow. I did the same. Then we sat down again. But as I made my way towards the Hermes table, everyone stopped and gasped. Some pointed to something above my head. I looked up at a symbol of.....
