Chapter 11: A Past
"I don't want to hurt them." A small child, only about the age of seven, whimpered.
"I don't care if you want to or not." Klarion sneered. "You are going to do it."
"No!"
"Now!" Snapped the Witch Boy. The small girl shuffled forward and thrust out her hands, but it just felt wrong. In a split second decision she turned her hands out to Klarion, blasting his backwards onto his back.
"No!" She stomped her foot. "I will not!"

When the little girl was nine she battled with the infamous Witch Boy. As she was thrown to her feet she felt something awaken.
"Stop it!" She soar up into the sky and rammed her feet into the boy's chest.
"Yes! Get mad!" Klarion threw the girl off I him. "Hit me! Get angry." And she did.

The little girl was growing up. Now twelve the girl watched and studied a video of her nemesis, Dr. Fate. She studied everything, how he shielded himself, how he fought, the strategies he used. He was super powerful compared to the young apprentice.
"One day, I will defeat you." She said looking at the image. "I will take your place and become the next Dr. Fate, but when I do, the world will pay." She was told how it would happen and why. But a small part of her, buried within her, knew otherwise.

At thirteen the young woman got her first real mission. Grand art theft. When she took the great painting off the wall, something felt off. But something else urged her on. She took another and another. The police never caught her.
Klarion was so proud.

The fourteen year old now went to high school. She was acing her classes and was great in P.E. But after the first few days, she got into a fight. Not with some petty girl, no with one of the basketball players. He called a girl a slut, so she took matters into her own hands and broke the boy's nose. And kicked him in the balls.
The school suspended her, but Klarion was so happy that he let her go to the school she really wanted to go to. Gothom High.

I sat in my bed thinking about what that girl would do. Maybe she would go do whatever Klarion said. If she saw me know, ha! She would think I was crazy. She would laugh how I'm dating when I should be fighting Dr. Fate.
"Hey, are you okay?" Seth asked from across the table.
"Oh, yeah. Sorry, I was thinking. Where were we?" I asked and took a sip from the soda.
"Well, we're going be ordering soon. Do you know what you want?" He asked.
"Hmm, a burger." I smiled. Past me would laugh and say something like; "What are you doing idiot?"
"I think I'll be getting the same." He smiled. It was a nice smile. His teeth were white, unlike some of the boys at school, and straight. He ordered with the waitress and she hustled off.
"So you want to tell me that secret?" I asked and crossed my arms.
"Nope. You'll have to figure it out." His smiled grew wider. Dinner was great and we conversed about life and school. Seth drove me home on his motorcycle.
Home, Klarion was waiting. That horrible smirk was plastered across his face.
"Look who's home, Lovergirl." He teased. "What took you so long? Had to kiss him good night?"
"Shut up." I sneered. "It's none of your business. "
"Well, it is if you're dating my partner's son. Anyways, time to talk business," He sat on the couch. "Sit."
"Yes sir." I sighed and sat across from him. "What do you need?"
"Molten, the new villain. I need you to find out who he is." He informed.
"That's it?" I asked and crossed my arms. "There has to be more."
"And there is. He'll help you defeat Dr. Fate."
"I don't need any help." I sneered.
"I beg to differ. Find out who this boy is."
"Yes sir." I nodded.
"Your mission is coming up, soon." Klarion nodded. "Be ready."
"Yes sir."
