~Raven's POV~

"Morning" I smile at Felix as he looks my way, we came back home from Seattle a few hours ago and I really like Felix. I don't know why, but when I was fucking those two humans I could only think of that Felix guy.

"Morning" he hands me a plate with eggs, bacon and pancakes with some maple syrup on it "for you"

"Try them!" I look over at Kenzie as she moans smiling eating her own plate "he makes amazing pancakes! Seriously! Best pancakes!" She says through a mouthful of food.

I smile taking a bite of the pancakes and moan "Wow" looking at Felix "these are amazing"

"Thanks" he smiles

"Did you take a cooking class or is this just pure talent?" I ask

He shrugs his shoulders "My mother, my human mother before she died taught me the way around the kitchen—I learned the many different forms of cooking over the years"

I smile "I bet all your girlfriends loved this" though the thought makes me feel something, what is this weird feeling?

"I've never had a girlfriend" he shakes his head "what about you? Girlfriend? Boyfriend?"

Shaking my head "being what I am, I don't know if someone is dating me because they want to date me for me or for my looks and way around in the bedroom" why did I just tell him that? Not even Bo knows it or Kenzie—now she knows—or Dyson or Hale or Trick. I don't let myself feel love for another person like Bo because it hurts. She lost the love of her life because she didn't know what she was.

"Oh!" Kenzie comes over "Bo and Lauren called and we're going to someplace outside of Seattle to help someone, want to come?"

"Sure" nodding my head

~Time Skip~

"That is a really cute outfit" Kenzie compliments my outfit "but very light, I mean why white?" I'm wearing a body suit with a skirt and heeled boots. Jane, Felix and Demetri are back at the Cullen's talking about the mateless vampire they are in charge of destroying, also human wolf shifters and finally about the voting they had about the human saying that they stupid and if they think they have a choice in turning her they don't.

"It's cream" I correct "and what's wrong with the Aswang?"

"We don't know" Lauren appears next to us with Bo "it's why we're here" nodding our heads we head inside "how's seeing your birth father?"

"It's nice" nodding my head "even though we haven't spoken much I like it"

"She also met her aunt" Kenzie adds "also this one guy who is really interested in her"

"Really?" Bo asks "who?"

"Bo" Lauren calls and Bo follows Lauren into another room while I'm in the kitchen with Kenzie who is like a bottomless pit right now.

I grab my phone to see what mom is up to, she left with Alec and haven't returned. I'm curious about them "want some?" She motions to soup

I sniff it "Sure" I take a sip of some of the soup, this is really good.

I finish the soup Kenzie poured for me "What?" We see Lauren and Bo enter "What did I do?"

Lauren looks down at the soup "Dear god!" She comes to me and starts to inspect me.

"What?" I demand

"We're in a home of an Aswang" she tells me "and the soup"

A strong wave of nausea over takes me and I run to the bathroom vomiting my guts up.

~Felix's POV~

"Demetri?" I ask Demetri as I'm outside waiting for my mate to return "Where is she?"

"She's...right there" we see a car pull up and I smell my mate but I also smell blood. Fear overtakes me and I jump down to the car and find my mate lying down with blood running down her eyes.

"What happened?" I demand picking her up and I run her into the Cullen's "Carlisle!"

"Oh my god" Demetri gasps seeing Raven in my arms.

"What happened?" Carlisle demands looking at her checking her eyes then checks her pulse "get her into my office"

"Oh my god" Jane exclaims before calling someone as I run past the Cullens to the office and lay her down, when she's on the bed Carlisle takes her blood and does weird stuff.

"What happened?" He asks me

"I don't know, a car came up and she came in"

"Carlisle!" We look over and see the mind reader bring in the human who is also bleeding at the eyes.

"Set her down" he orders and she is placed on the couch as he goes to her and takes her blood.

We hear coughs and look to see Raven waking up "Raven?" Carlisle is before her "this is Carlisle, what happened?"

"Where's Lauren?" She asks siting up but we push her down "why is it so hot in here?"

"She's running a high fever" he curses seeing something, looking at me "You need to lie with her"

"I'm sorry?" I ask, yes I want to be intimate with my mate but I doubt this is the time to be intimate.

"Your cold body temperature will lower her fever" he goes over to the other one and checks "same with her, these two need the cold. Now!"

"Raven!" We look over to see Alec and Ashlynn here, Ashlynn is crying as they go to Raven who looks at them.

"Mom? Alec?" She coughs violently and we see it's blood.

"I don't want to die" Kenzie cries as Edward is by her side "she died and were dying" What?! No!

"Mom I'm sorry" Raven cries "I was a terrible daughter and"

"No" Ashlynn shakes her head "no, your the best daughter I could ever ask for. You'll be okay—Lauren and Bo called, their finding a cure as we speak"

"Do you know what's happening?" Carlisle asks as Ashlynn grabs a trash can for Raven to cough up more blood into.

"They ate a corpse" I'm sorry? They ate a what?
