"Winslow?! How?!" Petra gasped in shock. "It's the White Pumpkin! He's real! He kidnapped Cassie and shot me through a portal!" Winslow said almost hysterically. "But how are you human?" Lukas asked. "Huh?" Winslow hadn't realised he was a boy again. "Whoa, who's this kid? And who's Cassie?" Axel said puzzled. Then Jess remembered they hadn't been there to the two moons world. "Well, this is Winslow. He's actually a cat who apparently turned into a human! His owner is named CassieRose. She was kinda... a bit of a killer." Jesse explained. "But she's regretting it so much! Every day she just wants to be free!" Winslow insisted. "Well, shouldn't she be free?" Reuben agreed. "She murdered three people and framed Lukas! As if!" Petra scowled. Winslow looked upset at that. "Can you at least tell me why the White Pumpkin attacked us? Please?" he pleaded. "I think I might know..." Olivia replied, "I read something about a White Pumpkin. Do you want to see?" she asked. Everyone followed her and the wedding party continued. Curious to what was happening, Benedict followed.

"So, Winslow, since when could you change?" Reuben asked, trying to make conversation. Another animal who could shapeshift! But this one was looking too distressed to be chatty. Winslow was indeed panicking. Cassie was in trouble, this was no time to read! "Well, it happened when we were attacked. I just suddenly transformed. I don't know why though." he replied. "Wait, hold the carrot. Winslow, you could be a Child of Balance. They're the descendants of the first humans and sometimes animals. Some of the animals have the ability to shapeshift! I think that's what's going on! And the Grey Pumpkin could want your powers!" Reuben realised. "White Pumpkin." Winslow corrected. "Sorry. Now let's go catch up!" Reuben and Winslow ran up to the others. Benedict just slithered in the shadows, curious to what was going on. They all went inside the library. Olivia picked up a luminous blue book with a black slash on it's cover. The kind done by an axe. "OK, sit down. This may get a little... dark..." Olivia began as everyone got comfortable. Benedict crouched in a corner so she wasn't seen.

"Long ago, there was a wealthy baron. He had millions of gold, iron, emeralds, redstone among other things. He owned a huge manor house with all the luxury he could ask for. But there was one thing. He only had three diamonds. These three were given to him by a witch. She said that he could make a wish on each, but it worked that whenever he used the diamond, the wish would activate, and that wish would repeat every time the jewels were used. It was more like a self-serve thing. But after years and years of this, the greedy baron wanted more diamonds. He wanted more wishes. More magic. So he went to the witch and asked for more. When she refused, he killed her to try and take them himself. But there were none. Then the baron was punished by the three wishes draining from the diamonds, and they flew far, far away. These wishes were the ones of friendship. If someone was feeling lonely and depressed, the wish would appear to them invisibly and create a friend. These friends had a link to the Children of Balance. They would possess the qualities needed to have a sure companion, and they would be destined to save the world. The baron, robbed of his riches, made the empty diamonds into an axe, and his spirit tries to track down the wishes in their physical form and kill them in hopes of extracting the wishes. He wore a white pumpkin on his head as another punishment, so he could never see things the way they were, only in corrupted form. How to tell you are one of them comes in three signs. First, death and reincarnation. This shows you have an immortal spirit, like the wishes, and Herobrine cannot keep you for long. Second, the one you're most close to is one of three: The Heroine, The Queen or The Builder. This is simply because each of these three will need a wish, a friend , to make their journeys. And finally, you can change forme." Olivia suddenly dropped the book in shock. Reuben could change! So could Benedict and Winslow! They were the ones the White Pumpkin was after. Everyone just stared in amazement. Benedict have covered her mouth to stop herself yelping in fright. "That's intense..." Lukas breathed. "I know." Jess turned to Reuben, who had shapeshifted into a rabbit to hide behind Petra. "Are you alright, buddy?" Jess asked gently. "Not going through it again... no...!" Reuben must have had traumatic experiences with death. He covered his eyes with his ears. "Winslow, did you ever die?" Olivia asked. "Well, I do remember one incident where I went unconscious staying in water for too long, and when my eyes opened Cassie was crying and holding me. But other than that, no." Winslow replied. Reuben turned back into a boy. "I'm gonna ask that Benedict girl..." he said, then walked straight into her. "Eavesdropping much?" Winslow frowned. "No, I didn't die. Yet. But I could be a wish. Should I tell Isa?" Benedict suggested. "We don't want panic. The best we can do is just wait until we get proper evidence." Lukas concluded. "You three, stay here." Petra instructed.

"Grah! I hate standing still!" Reuben moaned later. They were still in the library. Then an idea struck Benedict's head. "How about we sneak out? I did it all the time in Sky City!" she grinned. "But won't they notice we're gone?" Winslow reminded. "Don't worry, I have a plan..." Benedict smirked.
