Chapter 3
I found my father after a few days of tireless searching.
"Father." He turned and smiled at me "Sweet daughter, it is good to see you." I smile and hug him. "Its time, Father. Its time to bring joy to Narnia once more." He smiles again. "You are right, my daughter."
He pulls out a great big bag of toys and sets it in his sleigh. "Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve are back in Narnia. They need my help and I am glad to provide it."
I hug him tightly. "Thank you, Father. They'll need all the help they can get."
He looks at me. "Then return to the camp of Aslan and await their arrival. Fight alongside them, Daughter."
I smile widely and transform into a snowy owl once more, taking off towards aslan's camp.
As I fly, I notice the snow melting away. Landing in the camp, I return to human form to the sounds of cheers. Oreius comes up to me. "It is good to see you, my lady."
I grin. "Well, its good to be back. The ones we are waiting for have returned and I await their arrival.
Meanwhile, the pevensie children met Father Christmas.
"Well, my daughter seems to be correct. Hope has at last returned to Narnia."
Lucy looked confused. "who is your daughter?" He laughed. "I believe you have met her, Ivory."
Lucy's eyes widened. "She's your daughter?" He nodded. Giving them their weapons, he smiles once more. "She is waiting for you at Aslan's camp. You will meet her there.
They took off once more, Peter contemplating this, for he had thought her pretty when he first met her.
I hear the calls and whispers of the Narnians and know that they have arrived. I fold my hands in the sleeves of my dress. As they walk in, I see the hope in the eyes of the Narnians. They believe in these children, and so do I.
"Welcome, Son of Adam, and Daughters of Eve." I say, smiling. I kneel as Aslan appears. He welcomes them and I stand. "I see you have already met my dear friend, Lady Ivory."
They smile at me. "She has been very kind to us." Peter says.
After Aslan speaks to them, I approach Peter. "Oreius and I shall be in charge of your training." Peter nods. "You?" he asks. I grin.
"Just because I am a lady does not mean I haven't learned from the best at how to defend the ones I love in this land."
He blushes and I smile. He is very handsome. I feel a sadness deep in my heart. He is human after all.
That night, I lay in my tent, restlessly. I get up and see aslan. "Couldn't you sleep, my dear?" I shake my head. "Not at all." He smiles "It is the boy, is it not?" I blush. "He is something else, something that strikes a chord in me."
Aslan looks me in the eye. "The heart is a fickle thing, and I wish you all the best."
I thank him and return to my tent.
