"Look out, Petra!" Jess laughed as she lashed out her sword. Petra easily dodged it and struck back. "Seriously, Jess? You defeated Herobrine, but you can't beat me?" she teased. "Oh please! I'm just getting started!" Jess grinned. Suddenly Ivor walked in. "Jess, can I speak to you for a minute?" he asked. Jess went into the lab with him. The scroll with the prophecy of the Children of Balance was spread out on the table. Ivor looked excited. "Jess, I just found out something amazing! You know how we thought there were only six children?" he asked. "Yeah, and?" Jess shrugged. Ivor turned over the scroll. On it, several weird paragraphs of cryptic writing were on it.
Aid = Adventure
May = Charm
Is = Royalty
Mi = Freedom
And many, many more names were there, and their respective power. "Whoa, holy crap! Why are there so many?!" Jess asked. "You know how the books say that the human race is descended from the heroes Steve and Alex? Well, as it turns out, the Children of Balance are descendants of the other humans that lived in that time." Ivor explained. Jess' eyes widened. "And, I managed to track your ancestry a bit, and as it turns out the first of the Faldara family is Joseph Faldara." Ivor said. "Wow! I have to tell Jesse!" Jess ran through the temple to their bedroom. He was sitting on his bed reading. "Jesse, you won't believe what Ivor just told me!" Jess squealed. Jesse stared at her for a minute. He was reading her mind. "Whoa, cool! More Children of Balance... and... Joseph Faldara?" Jesse gasped. "Yep! I'm gonna tell everyone else!" Jess raced down to the training area, where Axel and Lukas were duelling with Petra. "Guys, guys, guys! Ivor just told me there are more of us! And also, he managed to find out each of our ancestors!" Jess cried. "I know! I was already told! As it turns out, I'm descended from Astra Callums!" Axel said proudly. "I'm Lucy Jadore!" Lukas added. "Peter Andrews for me!" Petra said as if it was no big deal. "Why aren't you excited, Petra? You were wondering about your family for quite a while. Sixteen years to be exact. And you're sixteen!" Jess pointed out. "Well, I have a new family in you guys!" Petra smiled. "I wonder who Olivia is..." Lukas mused. "By the way, where is Olivia?" Axel asked. As if right on cue, Olivia dashed in, holding some weird box-like invention only herself, Ellegaard, Soren and Lukas would ever understand. "Check this out!" she pressed a button on it, and it transformed into a hoe, then an axe, and then a pickaxe, and back to a box again. "It's designed to make gathering supplies easier by being several tools at once!" Olivia explained. "That's really cool, babe." Axel grinned, and the others cringed. "What?" Axel stared at them. "I guess we'll just have to get used to you saying that!" Lukas laughed. "Ha! Whateves!" Olivia shrugged.

Suddenly there was a rap on the door. "I'll get it!" Axel dashed down through the temple. But then there was a scream. Everyone ran to the door to find Axel holding Aiden and Maya by the collars of their jackets, one in each hand. "It looks like we have a couple of spies!" Axel growled. "We're not here to cause trouble! We need to talk!" Maya pleaded. "Yeah, right! Like I'd believe the same people who pushed Lukas and Jess off a cliff!" Axel said. "Axel, let them go. Let's hear them out." Jess asked. "Fine." Axel muttered something about Jess being too trusting, then dropped them on the ground and grinned. "Thanks, Jess. We have a huge problem!" Aiden nodded. "What's wrong?" Jesse walked in. "You know our friends Gill and his little sister Becky? Well, we found these weird relics and they disappeared when they touched them. Then we were chased by our own shadows!" Aiden dropped the axe on the floor and Maya dropped the rod. Ivor's eyes widened. "I... don't believe it. And you can hold them yourselves?" he asked. "Er, yes?" Maya answered. "Ivor, have you seen these weapons before?" Petra asked. "Yes, I have. They're two of the Virtue Weapons. The Eclipse Blade and the Shell Wand. Apparently, Aiden and Maya are two of you!" Ivor stared at the two, who had their jaws dropped open. "Wait, what are you talking about?" Maya asked. "Aiden is the Son of Adventure, and Maya is the Daughter of Charm!" Ivor gasped. The two friends looked at them blankly. "You're... special, I'll just say." said Lukas. "In what way?" Aiden asked nervously. "Basically, you're the only ones who can touch your respective weapon, and you could have side-powers possibly. You represent a kind of personality element which affects your temper, interests etc." Olivia explained. "OK, I'm a mix of excited and confused." Aiden stated. "Just... watch this!" Jess raised her hands in the air, and her ordinary clothes transformed into the white ankle-length dress. "Whoa! When do we get cool outfits?!" Maya asked eagerly. "Er... well... we had to die before we looked awesome so... yeah." Axel sighed. Aiden and Maya just stared again. "Then... how are you standing in front of us?" Aiden asked. "It's a long story!" Petra laughed. "So we've got superpowers?" Aiden's eyes lit up. "Yes, basically." Olivia replied. "Cool! Now, can you explain to us why our friends vanished?!!" Aiden yelled. "Simple. They vaporised. Only the respective child can touch your weapon. Aiden, pick up the Eclipse Blade. Maya, pick up the Shell Wand." Ivor instructed, and they obeyed. "They belong to you now. Use them well." Lukas nodded. Maya observed the wand in her hands. "Why is it called the Shell Wand?" she asked. "Because according to legend, the Daughter of Charm had a link to the sea and water for it's beauty and fierceness. The Son of Adventure has a link to the stars, fire, and other kinds of guides." Lukas replied. "So... is there any way to get our friends back?" Maya asked. "We really don't know. Maybe we can find out. We've cheated death before, I'm sure we can do it again!" Petra nodded. "OK! Let's do it!" Jesse agreed.

But they didn't know something was watching them...
