I Need You Right Now
"Ender was only nine when it happened. I was going with the Order to fight the Ender Dragon, but Ender herself was very sick at the time. She had a really bad virus, and I shouldn't have left her. She was always a strong girl, even though her mother died when she was small. I thought she would be perfectly fine if I went for a small bit. I was wrong. When we came back, she had died. I never forgave myself after that. She apparently resurrected as Ender, and now I'm guessing she wants revenge on me and the Order for making her like this." Ivor finished. They all had their jaws dropped. Then Ivor showed them a photo. It was Ivor with a little girl. She had ink black hair and dark blue eyes like him. She wore a little purple shirt and navy shorts, and she had a kitten in her arms. She was amazingly cute, but Ender now definitely wasn't. She had killed Aiden and loads of other people too. "Is there any way to turn her back? I remember the squirt, she was quite the kid!" Magnus smiled at the memories of such an innocent child. "I don't know if we can turn her back, but I have an idea..." Ivor set out the scroll yet again. Then he pointed at a paragraph of crypted writing. It was just symbols to most, but Maya and Lukas could read it fine. "Whatever you do, don't read it aloud until you're in the right place!" Ivor instructed. "Which is?" Lukas asked. "When you're face to face with Ender, say the spell. Trust me, it will work if you do it right!" Soren nodded. "How exactly do I get to her?" Maya enquired. "You'll just have to do it like last time. But be careful! Now that she has Aiden's powers, she will be extremely strong! She will be able to wield the galaxies, and that's no joke, OK?" Ellegaard reminded. "Alright, guys, let's go..." but then Maya set her eyes on a portal. It was blue and turquoise. "Where does that go?" Petra asked. "It's only a prototype, but it should be able to take us to any person's location. You just need an item of theirs and you can go!" Soren showed it off. Suddenly Maya threw an item at it. The portal lit. "Wait, what are you doing?" Lukas asked warily. Maya turned to them. "Don't let me down, OK?" she said then ran into the portal. "Maya!" they all cried as the portal shut.
Maya found herself falling down, down, down. She screamed as colours flashed by her. Then she eventually found herself slamming into the ground. Maya got up and took in her surroundings. Then she recognised where she was. "Sky City." she breathed. It was still full of monsters and was still quite destroyed. If there was any chance Aiden was here, she needed to find him. Well, at least his soul. Then Jess could reincarnate him and they could fight Ender together. As not just a team. As a couple. As boyfriend and girlfriend. As Children of Balance. Together. Forever.
Maya didn't notice the huge ghast trying to blast her to bits. She defended herself with water, then ducked into the palace ruins to find Aiden. "Aiden! Are you there?! She called. She found the empty halls creepy, so she sang to herself to keep calm. How would she ever find him in this place? Wait a second, this was crazy! Aiden was gone, and there was no chance he was here. That portal was a prototype, what if it teleported her to where he was before? Maya was just about to give up, when suddenly a huge light filled the room. Maya squinted at it. The outline of a person was in the distance. The person was a teenage boy, with cute brown hair, green eyes, a turquoise short sleeve shirt, blue jeans and turquoise cape with brown leather gloves and ranger boots. An axe was slung over his shoulder.
"Aiden!" Maya cried and ran over to him. But she went straight through him. She then looked at him. He was slightly transparent. "What happened to you?" Maya said, anxiously. "I'm a ghost, obviously. Maya, I'm sorry. I can't be with you if I'm dead, can I? And don't you even think about jumping off a cliff or something crazy like that!" why was he acting so worried? Maya was here to rescue him from death. "Jess can revive you! You'll be alright!" she assured. Aiden still didn't look sure. "Look Aiden, I need you right now. We have some info about Ender and a spell we can use on her! Please, I can't live without you! Literally, I will stab myself or jump or the like that!" Maya said firmly. She didn't realise until now how much she loved Aiden. She was willing to risk her neck for him. And come to think of it, he would do that for her. Suddenly an ear-deafening screech ran out. "Oh crap... not again!" Aiden groaned. "What is it?!" Maya asked. "Her..." Aiden pointed at a terrifying ghost girl. She had pupiless eyes and completely white skin. She looked like the kind that would jumpscare you in horror stories. Maya turned to a terrified Aiden, then back to the girl.
"Run!"
