Hope heard the assistant and found herself inside a house that Mr Sharma once explained to her as her potential destination to meet Aakrit in solitude.

What time is it right now? *Hope asked the voice assistant*

It's 8:45 PM *The voice assistant said*

Hope heard some noise as she veered back to see who it was.
She saw familiar eyes looking at her being a little worried about her.

She took a deep breath as her eyes began filling with tears when she finally saw that face which she's been looking for all these years. 

Dad. *She whispered with a trembling voice*

Dad? Are you looking for your dad? How did you enter my office? Is there anyone with you? *Aakrit asked her*

Hope was too stunned to speak as she saw her dad in person for the first time in her life.

Hey, are you alright young lady? I felt something really unusual today. And the thunder outside, I hope you're good?

Are you okay?
*Aakrit said and put his hands on her shoulders*

Hope felt his gentle touch as she couldn't contain her emotions anymore even though she pushed to the limit to do so. The tears began filling her eyes as she started sobbing and hugged him without thinking of anything.

Hey... Hey...Why are you crying? What happened?*Aakrit asked her politely as he patted her back without realizing who she was*

Are you okay young lady?  Do you want anything? I'm sorry for asking too many questions, I should've given you a blanket first, it's raining outside. *He said and hurriedly went inside to find a blanket after making sure that Hope sat down on a chair*

I'm sorry there's no blanket here, ah...  What am I doing? Wait, I have a room heater here. Just a minute.*He said and grabbed the heater and veered it towards Hope after turning it on*

Hope wasn't feeling anything she was just looking at him with a little smile on her face and listening to his voice like she wanted to store every single detail about him in her memory.

Today has been a weird day for me,  it's raining here, I'm sure you must've seen the door open and came here to take a shelter aren't you? But before that, I saw another girl and then the whole room felt weird and collapsed and I felt a little dizzy too. *He said and rubbed his face*

I'm sorry again, I'm not supposed to tell you all that. I'll get a cup of coffee for you. Do you drink coffee or tea?  *He asked Hope*

Whatever is fine you*Hope said with a smile*

Alright *Aakrit said*

I prefer tea though.*Hope said*

Aakrit smiled and nodded.

Whilst Aakrit was making tea for them, Hope saw the designs of something familiar, she peeked at the kitchen and saw that he was busy so she took her time to look at the papers and realized it was the design of nothing but the Tele-Boards and realized that Colleen saw none other than Aakrit as it was her who caused the Chip to get activated and opened a portal here in 2019.

She was yet bewildered about how a 2019's chip got there in the year 2044 to trigger such an incident.

There you go, young lady*He said and gave her a cup of hot tea*

Oh these?  These are...*Aakrit said when he saw her looking at those Tele-Boards designs*

Tele boards?  *Hope said*

Ye... Yeah,  yeah. I mean...How...how do you know about it *He asked her in awe*

Da... *Hope paused and contained all her emotions and decided not to tell him who she was so she could share and also gain the important information about Sam, the project and his disappearance regardless of any emotions that might resist her to take any crucial step*

I mean Professor Andrews, allow me to introduce myself first, Hello I'm Hope Jones, I'm a researcher at the physics department in Bo... in a Science University, it's a pleasure to meet you, sir. *Hope said and took her hands out*

Pleased to meet you, Ms Hope Jones. *He shook her hands*

So you're not here to take shelter from the rain? Are you? *He asked*

Ummm...Not really Professor? I'm here to discuss or perhaps tell you something significant about the Quasars. *Hope said as Aakrit eyes got wide open when she mentioned the Quasars as it was supposed to be a confidential project*

He tried to act normal.

Well it's an extremely luminous active galactic nucleus...*Aakrit said but Hope interrupted him and said*

Quasars: The Future Technology *Hope said and put the teacup down*

Aakrit looked at her without saying a word. He got startled by how she got to know about it? He was shocked that how could a stranger know about a confidential project that he and his very trustworthy team has been working on so privately that not even the government officials are aware of it.

See, it has been a secret... Okay forget the secret,  it has been a dream project of mine. There must have been a sheer lack of confidentiality that this news got out. How many people know about it except you? *Aakrit asked her in panic*

Professor, I won't make it any more confusing than it already is. *Hope said*

I'm from the future. From the year 2044 *Hope told Aakrit*

Aakrit looked at her and began coughing really hard after unexpectedly hearing that.

I know that you know everything about my dream project and it's related to time travel but at least don't mock me, let me give it a try tomorrow. *He said whilst standing up*

Professor, I'm not joking. Here, I'll show you the proof.  I'm here to know something,  to warn you about something. *She said and started searching through her bag*

Where are the documents? *She said whilst nervously searching through her bag*

She took off the suit and put it aside to thoroughly search for the documents.

Oh no! *Hope said as Aakrit looked at her*

I dropped it and I also left my phone in the lab after reading the text. *Hope said*

Da... I mean Professor Andrews I promise I'm not lying.  I'm from 2044 and that evil Sam isn't your trustworthy partner but a total freak who's against you from day one. *Hope said*

Listen,  Hope. *Hope looked at Aakrit ecstatically as she heard her name for the first time from his mouth*

I get it that you know about the project but you're telling me that you're here from 2044. I'm only working on future travel, travelling in past, I don't know if that's even possible with the current technology. *Aakrit told her*

But I'm here, it's possible. I'm the proof that it's possible. *Hope emphasized*

You're not...*Aakrit paused as he glanced at her suit with the initial AA on it.  He took it in his hands and saw the quote "For a better future" on the back.

That's my initial. *Aakrit said as he was thinking about the things that happened to him today*

First Arthur,  then Mrs Presley and then that girl and now you. What's happening today? *Aakrit muttered*

That is your initial because it has Tele-Boards and Chips made by you Professor. You invented it,  you figured out the way, we had just enhanced and put it all together. *Hope told him*

I designed the Tele-Boards and the Chip but I haven't figured out the right coordinates of the Tele-Boards and the exact positions of the Chips so they'll work together to stabilize the portal.

We're gonna have our first test run tomorrow and you're telling me that with the use of the invention that I haven't even tested yet,  you jumped back in time from 2044 to 2019?*Aakrit said and sat down right next to her*

Yes*Hope said*

How can I be so dumb, how can i...*Hope said but she saw her camera*

Professor Andrews, I've got the proof. *Hope said and took her camera out*

She showed him the photos of every document that Sam has fraudulently taken to snatch away the whole business including all the labs in his name. She showed him all photos she took of the Quasar building and the giant time machine Sam has built and showed the date on the paper with signatures which proves that she's from the future.

You can still stop him,  you have time *Hope said*

No, Hope, stopping him now will have its own consequences. This machine that I've been working on is completely developed in 2044 which means it was meant to develop in 2044. One isn't supposed to alter the past.

Wait a second *Aakrit paused and looked at Hope with doubt*

How did you get inside that building and come out so easily? And not to mention you even took the photos. *Aakrit asked her*

That building is my design, the trap inside it is my design as well and it isn't that easy to break into it and come out that easily. Even Sam got locked up quite a few times and there you're showing me the proof of how you break into it and took photos and got out like it was nothing. *He said questioning his capabilities*

The machine you're showing me is right in the middle, a nearly impossible destination for outsiders. Such a brilliant mind you're at such a young age.*He said in awe*

Ah! It wasn't that hard Professor, you basically built a confusing mirror world inside it where everything depends on the number of steps I take, one wrong step and the whole building is locked up and I'm trapped inside it but I never took that wrong step, I even bring professor Sharma with me there.*She said proudly*

I saw how the windows work as a door but some doors work like windows,  it's just the designs that make it even more confusing but it's easier to break into that building at night.  The floor and the moonlight are enough to guide the person inside it.  *Hope said as Aakrit was looking at her in awe*

It took me years to think of something like that only for you to barge into it within a min or so.  *He said and giggled*

You're not angry with me?  *She asked innocently*

I'm surprised by you. *He said proudly*

By the way,  how do you know Professor Sharma? *He asked her*

He's my guide, we built the machines together. He's like a mentor to me*She said*

Professor Sharma is your guide? What am I doing in 2044? I thought I could be in the position of your mentor *Aakrit said and laughed*

Hope eyes filled with tears when she heard those words from his mouth as she stood up and looked away*
