The guards came out of the building and started looking around it to see if anything is suspicious. Meanwhile, Professor Sharma found his way inside the building to help Hope.

Go towards the left side Professor. *Hope instructed him*

But it says on the right? *He said while strolling in the corridor perplexed by the inner design of the building*

It'll say the same thing again even if you'll start walking in the opposite direction *Hope informed him*

He did as Hope instructed him to do as he got mystified by how complex this building actually was from the inside and how effortlessly and quickly Hope figured it out.

You remind me of your dad Hope, he used to solve this kind of puzzle and mazes and whatnot, at an exceptional speed. *He said disheartened because Aakrit is not here to see how much she resembles him*

Professor, now step inside the elevator. *She said trying to avoid getting emotional for the moment*

It was really odd for him as there was no sign of any elevator there but just a wall with designs the same as the wall behind him.

It's so weird, feels like I'm at the exact place where I began with. *He told Hope*

Don't worry, you'll see it once the doors are open. We made a huge mistake of taking this man for granted.  *She said worriedly*

I never took him for granted, I told you every day that he isn't a fool, he knows what he's doing.  *He told Hope and stepped inside the elevator and fell inside just like Hope did.

Welcome Professor, I "thought" that he was a fool but I certainly "know" that his superiority complex that he's the best and flawless will always be a drawback for him. *She told Professor Sharma and took her hands out to help him to get up*

Woah! Oh... My... *Professor Sharma was shocked by what he saw right in front of his eyes*

Woah?  Right?  Professor,  I knew that something was very suspicious about this building. The narrow hallways, the loop, the camouflage, everything was pointing towards this.*She said and pointed towards it*

Sam's time machine. Right at the centre of this building. *Hope announced*

His own time machine chamber and we never even had any idea. Thank God you decided to check this place out once again. *Professor Sharma told Hope whilst looking at the equipment he had there*

See he has everything we have,  The Tele-Boards placed at the right place,  just inside a more advanced machine,  the suit,  just more advanced and good looking,  the coordinates towards the centre where the person should be standing whilst doing the time jump, just more beautiful and precisely inscribed. *Hope said apprehensively whilst Professor Sharma was inspecting the place*

How the hell does he know all these things? He has the equipment, he has the energy source, and he has a more appropriate suit.  He just wants this algorithm to know the right coordinates of these Tele-Boards just like we do. *Hope said*

Why does he need to build this time machine? *Hope asked*

For fame?  For money?  *Hope said with frustration*

For power,  for power Hope. *Professor Sharma said whilst flipping through the pages of the documents he found*

Just look at this, he has the list of all the current business tycoons who could become even more powerful presently, perhaps in a few years.  *He said*

See, he has these people's names from every business field,  technology,  food,  education,  and politics.  He is planning to possess the power over the most powerful people. He is planning to build his empire in the next few years. *Professor Sharma said whilst still skimming through the pages*

So you're telling me that he is trying to take control of their future by using this time machine? Just like investing in something you already know is profitable? *Hope asked him*

Affirmative and He's trying to execute innocents and use their vulnerability for his pleasure.* He said and looked at Hope*

And there are two red-underlined names, indicating the priority above all these people. *Professor Sharma said*

I'm all ears.  *Hope said*

Aakrit Andrews and Hope-Jones.

Sam's immoral plan arrived like a storm for Hope and Professor Sharma. They knew that once Sam got control over the time machine,  he'll alter Aakrit and Hope's past to alter their future. Maybe he'll get power over Aakrit's toil at the very initial phase and remove him away from his path, way long before he even met Elsa. Maybe, he will convince the younger Hope to be by his side and manipulate her against Aakrit. There are so many possibilities that this evil-minded person could do if given the power to control time.

Hope, I'm going to the lab, we're just a few phases away,  we will make it before Sam and stop him before he could even think of doing something terrible. *Professor Sharma assured Hope*

Yes, Professor,  we've to try all the possible ways to put those Tele-Boards in the right place.  I believe that after a few trials we'll achieve the right sequence. *Hope said*

Please don't do the trials before we get there,  Colleen is on her way. I'll be there with her until then please wait for us, Professor. *Hope to request him*

Don't worry,  everything's gonna be fine soon and buck up you're in my library maybe read some of your favourite books until Colleen arrives. *Professor Sharma put her hands on Hope's shoulders and solaced her before leaving for the lab*

Hope's thoughts were not escaping her mind as she took a book but couldn't read it because of those indomitable thoughts.

Am I doing it right, dad? Is it gonna work out? How did you manage to keep the humanmade wormhole open and way back in 2019? I know you had the Tele boards but how did you keep it stable without the upgraded ones that we've now?  How did you keep it stable? How did you keep the exotic matter halt at one place to stabilize the wormholes? Am I missing something?  Why I'm not able to jump to the exact date?  The equations you wrote are way too advanced for 2019 then why I couldn't think of something like that too? How did you write the equations to stabilize the portal explaining the current technology associated with it?

Hope looked out the window whilst thinking about the final time jump to reach her dad and eventually find all the answers to her questions whilst waiting for Colleen.

Colleen's Pov

There's the library and here I'm passing Hope's real house she doesn't even know about. One day it's gonna be fine and you'll visit this house too, Hope. *Her steps were slowing down as she walked past Hope's real house.

I'm late,  I gotta go fast,  today is a big day for Hope. *She said and began stepping faster*

Today, we'll finally do it,  I hope we'll figure out the right directions in which we have to put those chips into the Tele-Boards.

I... * Colleen muttered but fell down while trying to avoid something she might've stepped on*

What's that?*She said and took the thing to examine it*

Woah! What's happening?... Professor!...Hope!, someone help!
*Colleen was alarmed after what she just experienced. It felt like someone flashed a luminous light at her and in the blink of an eye, she was in a different place.*

Collen found herself in a garden behind a house, she rubbed her eyes and stood up.
She was looking around to figure out where she was. As she looked around she heard something, recognizing it Hope's voice she decided to follow it. 

Hope...Hope!  *Colleen whispered*

Can anyone please tell me? *Hope said as Colleen saw her strolling in the garden nervously*

HOPE! *Colleen called out her name*

Hope turned around and started walking towards the backside of her house where she heard the voice coming from.

Where are you going little Hope? *Colleen saw Sam and took her steps back and hid behind a tree to see what's going on*

Uncle Sam! *Colleen saw Hope calling that evil Sam "uncle" and hugging him with happiness as she realized that something was not right*

Time passed by and Colleen realised that its Hope but not Hope from her timeline. She took her chance to peek inside the house and saw four people but couldn't see everyone's face.

Whilst trying her best to hide, Colleen however got caught by Carina as a sudden influx of nervousness ran through her veins.
As it was an arduous thing for Colleen to hold back stuff she yearned to tell both Carina and Hope yet managed to keep things under control and finally got to see Hope after lying about her identity as someone from the same university where Aakrit used to teach. It was the only way for Colleen to get in touch with Hope without any interference.

I certainly don't know you. It's better if you tell me, who are you? And why you're here? And how you're connected to the place where my dad used to teach? Huh? *Hope asked nervously*

Colleen tried her best to sort out the confusion between her and Hope and figure out whether she was really not that Hope she was headed toward or if it was all happening inside her mind?

Hope, we're working on it together, to know the truth. Everything was normal until I found this and pressed this button. *Colleen said and got vanished right after she pressed that button and got back to her original timeline*

Felt like a Deja Vu moment, Colleen contained her thoughts and ran towards the library where Hope was to show her what she saw.

Hope!  Hope! *Colleen entered the library being out of breath and nervous*

Hey, Colleen are you alright? *Hope asked her*

What took you so long?*She asked*

Do you remember when you said that I look familiar? *Colleen asked Hope*

Yes*Hope said and give her a questionable look*

Well, I just figured out why *Colleen said*

I found this Tele-Board on the ground whilst coming here, it has your dad's initials and also it looked like the ones we've been working on. I... I pressed this button and...

Colleen again pressed the button as the whole room started Collapsing.

What's happening? *Hope said nervously as the darkness was devouring the whole library*

Colleen was as stunned and afraid as Hope when she saw a man fallen inside another room that was somehow connected to the library.

Collen couldn't see his face as the lights were flickering and thunder sounds were coming from that man's partially connected room through a portal.

Wait, who are you? *Colleen asked him but turned towards Hope as she saw her falling*

She caught Hope and held her hands tight as in no time everything got back to normal.

What was that? *Hope said in a low voice while breathing heavily*

This is what happened mins ago but in a slightly different way. *Colleen said whilst panting*

I think we have to go to the lab right now and inform Professor about it. *Hope said and looked at Colleen as her heart was thumping because of that incident*
