Next thing Hope knew was her mother has been admitted to the hospital again.
She cried her heart out when she went to the hospital with Mr and Mrs Carlsen and Carina*

She sits down beside her mom with red eyes still wet from crying so much and held her hands.

This is my mistake *she said whilst sobbing*

Hope!*Mrs. Presley whispered whilst putting her hands on her shoulders*

She turned around and looked at her with swollen eyes getting teared up again.

You've your exams in a few days, don't worry, I'm here with Elsa and Eva is staying here as well for a few hours.
You should go and study, Carina will help you.*Mrs. Presley said politely*

But mom!*Hope said in a trembling voice*

I can't leave her here, when I know it's my mistake, I just can't.
How can I be so impolite and disrespectful? I didn't care about anything but my feelings. I'm so selfish*Hope said in a low voice*

But I could have controlled my emotions, I could have confronted instead of reacting when I heard that *Hope said whilst sobbing and looking at Elsa while still holding her hands*

Hope...When did?... What...? You heard what? *Mrs. Presley asked in confusion and fear at the same time*

Mrs.Presley, Hope... You both go back, I'm here for Elsa.
Hope you can't ruin your final exams, you're gonna graduate this year and go to your favourite university, remember?

Mr.Carlsen dropped both the girls back to the house and immediately left to go back to the hospital.

On the other hand, Hope told Carina that she was fine and she didn't need any help right now but will call her for sure in case she needs anything.

Good night Carina! Will see ya tomorrow*Hope said in a low voice and hugged her*

Night Hope, my phone won't be on silent okay? So call me if you need anything.
Eat and then study *Carina hugged her tight before leaving*

Hope sighed and went inside her house.
She was perplexed, baffled, dishearten, unhappy at the same time.
She was wishing that she couldn't have talked to her mother like that when she knows about her condition and that she needs adequate rest.
But, the voices of her mom and Mrs.Presley doesn't seem to leave her alone at all. She wanted to know the truth. Her exams were just a few days away, her mom was admitted to the hospital again for no one knows how long.

With the storm of thoughts inside her head. She locked the door and gradually went upstairs inside her room.
She opened the window of her room to see the moon but because of the heavy downpour, it was still cloudy outside as the moon wasn't visible.
Just white serene heavenly lights were penetrating through the clouds to make it a delightful yet peaceful sight to look at.

Hope closed the window and the door of her room and walked towards Elsa's room to feel more comfortable whilst studying.
She tries her best not to cry again neither get distracted by her constant negative emotions and thoughts until her mom gets back home healthy.
She even decided not to bring up this topic when she'll see her in the hospital.

She opened her textbooks and realises that she forgot to bring a pen with her.
Hope looked for a pen in Elsa's room as her sight crashed upon a diary.

There! *she sighed and got up to take that pen*

She grabbed that pen that was inside the diary as a lot of letters fell down from it when she closed it after taking that pen.

For Elsa!*she murmured*

She opened the diary to put it back to its place when she saw...

It's mom's diary? I didn't know that we have a full name? Jones was our middle name?*Hope said*

I should definitely not look at it, it's wrong... Mom won't like it at all, she's in that condition because of me, I can't do anything to cause any kinda trouble to anyone anymore. *Hope muttered and went back to the study table and started studying*

Time was passing by as Hope tried her best to focus on her textbooks but she couldn't stop herself from thinking why her mother has written her name as Elsa Jones Andrews and not just Elsa Jones whilst glancing at her diary from the corner of her eyes constantly.

Yeah, so question number 10 says...*Hope said but paused*

Dad's name was Aakrit Jones.
Who does Andrews belong to?

Ahh!!! I have to find out *Hope got up from her desk and opened Elsa's diary.

A year back uhmm*Hope hummed*

I named her Hope Jones to... *Hope started reading*

She read everything that has been written by her mom a year ago as after her stress problem got serious she wasn't able to write in her diary anymore.

She wasn't over the truth that her mom was hiding something, maybe something big and she got just pushed into a deep ocean of lies and deception.
She realised the truth about her father in Elsa's very last diary entry.

She wasn't able to collect all the pieces of her emotions back together to read further and more in that diary.
