Two weeks later...

After doing a daily up and down from the house to the University for more than a week, today was the day Elsa finally got her job as a permanent Psychology Professor at Science and Technology University of Oslo.

There were so many obstacles that she had to face, first, Psychology was an elective subject there which was introduced to the students just a few days ago. Not so many students showed interest at first, as after the guest lectures, so many students were disappointed but after some days a few students from freshmen year added psychology as their elective subject.

Secondly, not being a native Norwegian wasn't a very big problem as they had approached her before a guest teacher but now it was all about being permanent and they didn't want someone to leave the University for any reasons during the mid-semester.

Elsa successfully convinced them that she wasn't going anywhere, she told them about her immigration. As she was already a really respected professor, they had no choice but to accept Elsa as their first Psychological professor of the University.

god kveld Elsa, don't cook anything today*Eva said while smiling *you and Mrs.Presley are invited to our house for dinner tonight *Eva and Arne Carlsen said together politely*(Elsa's Landlord)

Thank you so much Mr and Mrs.Carlsen, to be honest, I'm feeling a little embarrassed, you must be thinking I'm a stupid mother, that I leave my daughter for hours and look tired always and I was not even stable since I got here*Elsa said in a low voice as she was feeling embarrassed*

Ah!come on darling, you got your job today, everything will be normal very soon, let's celebrate *Eva said whilst putting her hands on Elsa's shoulders*

We'll be there *Elsa said and smiled*

See you then *Eva said and walked back to her house*

Elsa was staying at their guest house, after listening to her story and knowing about Hope, they wanted lil Hope and Elsa to feel safe and comfortable. Being parents of a little girl they were able to feel Elsa's emotions for her daughter Hope.

I'm so sorry for being a little late today, I was making sure to cook something you'd love *Eva said while arranging plates on the table*

Mrs.Presley helped Eva as Elsa was carrying hope.

Don't worry she'd be comfortable in Carina's(Eva and Arne's daughter) crib*Eva said*

That's so sweet of you *Elsa said while gently putting Hope in Carina's crib*

She's two now and often escapes this crib so we brought her favourite little bed *Arne said and giggled while grabbing a plate*

With superheroes bedsheets*Eva said and laughed*

Carina! Carina baby dinner time *Eva called her*

Carina came running from her room in her little shoes which filled the room with its chu-chu sound.

Hei*Carina waves at them whilst shying*

Elsa caresses and kissed her cheeks while sitting down on the chair.

Carina ate her dinner quickly while constantly looking at Hope.

Baby*Carina said while pointing at Hope*

Yeah, she's a baby, do you wanna go play with her?*Eva asked her*

ja*carina said and ran towards Hope*

Carina started showing Hope her toys while telling her stories in her sometimes gibberish language.
Everyone looked at them and smiled.

After a while...

Elsa, can I ask you something if you don't mind *Arne asked her*

Sure!*Elsa said while taking a sip of water*

Earlier you said that your husband disappeared and the police were unable to find him and you don't want hope to know anything about it.*Arne said*

I mean.. I respect your decision but would you mind sharing with us about like....
Like..what actually happened? How there's a not even a single clue about him like..did he just vanished?*he asked*

I'm sorry Mr.Carlsen that I couldn't tell you this earlier I really wanted this job you know and because of that I completely forgot about this thing.*Elsa said*

It might sound a bit absurd but Aakrit, my husband, was..was all about doing unusual things because he was a Scientist and also a Professor at Boston University of Science and Technology..*Elsa started telling them everything in detail, from Aakrit working on an algorithm to those gunmen attacking her house when she was 8 months pregnant*

She told them about the last phone call of Aakrit, she told them that there's a possibility that his invention made him disappear, that Science and his craziness for inventions took him away from his family forever.
She told them that Aakrit had a feeling about these possible outcomes but it never stopped him to work on his algorithm for World's sake.

That's why I don't want my daughter to know anything about Aakrit, I'll keep her away from following her father's footsteps*Elsa said while being angry and started sobbing*

Hey! You promised me that you won't cry again *Mrs. Presley politely said while giving her a glass of water*

Silence covered the whole room for a while....

Your husband was gifted Elsa, there are not so many people who want to use their skills for other's sake.

But don't you think to keep your daughter away from her father's reality is like keeping her in deception for the rest of her life?*Arne said*

Mr.Carlsen, as long as she's safe I don't care about anything else.
Those gunmen, that night, I still get goosebumps when I think about it.*Elsa said*

I don't want Hope to start working on something for this WORLD'S SAKE and lose my daughter forever.

I..I loved him so much, I still love him a lot and miss him everyday Mr.Carlsen, I just try not to think about it *Elsa said as teardrops started rolling down her cheeks*

Elsa, we just wanna make sure that you live a happy life that you deserve and we're there for you.
It's not about that we just met a few weeks ago, it's not about that we are from different countries, it's all about being a human.
And for the sake of humanity, you can consider us as your if not first then the second family, we just want the best for you and Hope.*Eva said politely while smiling and putting her hands on Elsa's shoulders*

She's like Carina for us *Arne said*

Elsa looked at Eva and hugged her "thank you so much Mrs.Carlsen" she said

Can I tell you something Elsa*Eva said while smiling*

Elsa looked at Eva.

I feel like your baby won't give up easily, sooner or later she'll finish what her father started.*Eva said and smiled*

Elsa didn't say anything

Mamma, baby smiling *Carina said while pointing towards hope who was smiling like an angel*
