Louise spends her next few days with the starting up production of their studio project. They recently announced through their studio website and social media accounts about it, and now they're finishing the first few episodes on a tight deadline. They plan to release both the key visual and teaser soon.
The studio is currently receiving a huge following. There are a lot of emails and letters that, fortunately, are mostly positive and now, the team feels the pressure of meeting the producers and the fans' expectations. The amount of attention they're getting from them is just crazy, thanks to Ojiro Korishima's fame and influence.
Speaking of which...
The guy texts her with every chance that he gets. She doesn't even know if he sleeps at all. One moment, he's in a live interview in a TV station, In the next few hours, he will be in a photoshoot for a new endorsement. Later in the evening, he will train in the ice rink. All that, and he can still manage to send her with the most questionable messages.
The weather is good today, right?
The trees are so green near the station.
The cherry blossoms outside the rink look pretty.
What the hell am I supposed to reply to that? Is that even connected to the production?
But of course, he will not talk about the production.
She had been too desperate about how he would shut up about the incident with the beer and the vending machine, so she let him get her number. She expected him to message her about work, not these.
The birds outside my window chirp louder this time.
Ay! Callate! Ay, Shut up! I'm trying to work here! What kind of a crazy psycho would pay attention about how birds chirp?
She swears that if she ever hears some birds chirping outside her window, she'll lose her mind. It's for reminding her of the misery of getting up every day.
Louise puts her phone in a silent mode and focuses on her work. Her team leader assigned her the main character's character layouts. He believes that among her teammates, she's the best at drawing male characters. But the character's torso is so different than her usual drafts. It's too slim and even slightly closer to a female body's proportion and she knows exactly how she sucks at drawing females but they said that's how the ideal male skaters supposed to look like. The show's not an Ojiro Korishima inspired for no reason.
She sighs while looking at her messy sketches. As she shows the finished draft to her team leader, he asks her to redo it, tone the body a little bit. He says it looks a little too muscular.
Hunched over her table again, she's been working with her frames for hours with little to no progress, while a few of her seniors visit her to add more piles of work on her table.
She hears a knock, so she looks up from her sketch, seeing Jackson standing over her. "Lunch's almost over, want me to get you something?"
Louise checks her watch. She doesn't even realize how late it is already to have a break. "Yes, please Jackson. Thank you, I'm starving. I really need to get this done."
She watches him go, thankful that they both always got each other's back. She returns to her work, getting more and more frustrated. The frame she's working on is going to be a part of their project's teaser and this spin is going to be one of the most important elements of it. It's where the huge portion of the budget goes and what the show is all about; The main character's figure skating.
