Shen Yue's POV
I came to school pretty early today because supposedly me and Dylan are english partners. As if my luck couldn't get any worse. I'm super tired because me and Dylan been texting all night about where we can do our assignment.

He wanted me to go to his house after school. I said no. He also thought of going to my house and I definitely said no. So I finally found a conclusion to do our assignment in the school's library tomorrow morning.

So here I am heading into the school's library waiting for my former high school bully to show up.

"Hey." I feel my shoulder being tapped and I turn my head to see Dylan right beside me.

"Finally you're here." I complain to him.

"Sorry. This school is so damn big. It's kind of hard to fine places." He says.

"Well maybe you should leave." I mumble to myself.

"What was that?" He questioned me

"Nothing." I quickly say and Dylan removes the pencil from my hand and begins to turn my chair to face him. Dylan begins to lean closer to me and I start to squint my eyes a little and move my head back.

"I'll ask you again. What did you say?" He questioned me. His voice is a lot more deeper this time and more demanding. It's a little intimidating.

"N-Nothing. Lets get started on the assignment." I say to him but Dylan is still staring into my eyes so intensively. I'm starting to feel very uncomfortable.

"Fine." He says and Dylan finally moves back from me. "Here." He says returning my pencil and I look down at it and back at him again and it take it slowly from his hand.

Gosh that was close. I thought I was gonna die just a second ago.

The rest of the time in the library wasn't so bad. Dylan actually had some pretty good ideas and he seemed to be familiar with the topic. He's quite smart.

I'm heading to lunch now and honestly it's the best place to go. The food here is so delicious and rich. It doesn't beat home cooked meals though. As I found an empty table to sit, a group of girls automatically crowd me.

"Um....can I help you?" I asked them.

"It's Shen Yue right?" Some girl with short brown hair ask me and I nod. "We saw you in the library this morning with Dylan and we just thought how you two know each each other?" She asked.

Of course they all came here to talk about Dylan. Is that all girls in this school care about is boys and who they are with?

"Trust me. I don't know him. He is just my partner for an English assignment." I admit to them.

"How lucky you are to be paired with a hot guy like him?" One of the girls say to me.

"I'm not lucky." I mumble to myself.

The group of girls phones start to beep out in unison and they all check the message.

"No Way! Hu Yitian is throwing a party this Friday." One of the girls say cheerfully. Who the hell is Hu Yitian? "See you later Shen Yue." The girl says and quickly all her friends leave the table.

Finally they are gone. I can eat my lunch in peace. It's seem like everyone is talking about this party that's going on this Friday. This Hu Yitian guy is obviously a big deal.

1:30pm
I'm at my locker to get my math book but I hear a knock on the side of my locker. I move my locker a bit to see Dylan leaning on the lockers. I sigh of annoyance of his presence.

"What do you want?" I questioned him.

"What are you doing this Friday?" He asked me.

"Why do you care?" I questioned him again.

"I figured we can work on our assignment at my house so we don't have to whisper." He suggested.

"Wait? You're not going to the party?" I asked him out of curiosity.

"Hell no. I don't go to someone's party that I don't even know." He admitted.

"Oh." Is all I say. I'm kind of surprised he is not going. I mean why wouldn't he?

"Wait? You got invited?" Dylan asked me.

"No." I admit to him.

"Then how you know about it?" He questioned me.

"I heard about it in lunch today." I admit to him again.

"You coming over to my house or what?" He asked again.

"I-"

"Hey are you Shen Yue?" I hear unfamiliar voice says  behind me and I turn around to see a tall and pretty handsome guy. He is really handsome actually.

"Uh.. y-yea. How do you know my name?" I asked him nervously.

"You're such a pretty girl. How can I not know your name?" He says and I start to feel my cheeks getting red a bit. Did he really say I'm pretty?

"T-Thanks." I say adjusting my glasses a bit.

"I'm having a party, you should come. My parties are always fun. We have a pool, a pool table, and I have a nice balcony." He says. I do like balconies.

"Oh Um."

"Here." He says connecting his phone to mine and I instantly have a beep. I check my phone and it an address. "Come to my party if you change your mind." He says and he begins to walk away.

I can't believe I got invited to the party. A personal invite from the person who is throwing it to and he is really hot.

I won't lie to you guys. Hu Yitian is pretty hot 🥵

I mean look how cute he is 🥰
