Dylan Wang's POV

I'm at my locker and it felt like it took me forever to get here. This school is just too damn big. I don't know why Darren wanted us to go to this place. I won't lie, this school is really nice.

"Dylan!" I hear my name being called and I turn my head to see a girl with long black hair and a dark red crop top on.

"What do you want?" I asked her.

"So straightforward? I wanted to give you this incase if you need any help with anything. I am pretty familiar with the school." She says and I take the small piece of paper from her hand. I read it and it's a number. I look back at her to only see a smile and her hand on her ear like a telephone.

Before I could respond she already begins to walk away. I look at the number again and toss it in my locker.

"Looks like you already got a girl hitting on you and I must say, she is pretty cute." I hear Caesars voice from behind me. I turn around and smirk.

"I'm not interested." I admit to him.

"Oh wait. Don't tell me. You are interested in.... hold on, what's her name again? Shen Yue?" Caesar tease and I scoff a bit.

"Her. She is the one that's into me. I would never like a girl that lame." I deny to them.

"I find that hard to believe. There's been so many cute girls in our school and the only girl you talked about for the pass four years was Yue." Caesar reminds me.

"I mean it's kind of a coincidence that she is here in Ming De." Connor buts in.

"You're right. Maybe it's a sign that you and her can finally be together." Caesar says sarcastically.

"Knock it off." I warn them as I start to get annoyed with this topic.

"You know what you're right. You hate her, she hates you. There is no possible way you two would ever be together because the chances are so low." Caesar says and my curiosity starts to get the better of me.

"How low?" I asked and I see a smirk from Caesar. My instant regret for asking him.

"Oh a scale of 1-10. Seems like a zero." He finally says.

"Well.....who cares about her anyway? I never really expected her to like me." I spat at them and I hear the bell ring to go to class. "I'm going to class." I say slamming my locker door and speed walking away from my friends.

Zero? How can it be zero? Did I really make her hate me that much? I don't even know why I care? She bothered me so she deserved it. I'll admit to myself that I was pretty immature back in high school but I don't want to do those things any more. That era is gone now and I want to change myself.

I walk into my English lit class and I'm kind of late due to that I barely know where the classrooms are. As I walk in, I already hear a bunch of girls gasping and all looking at me.

This school is really weird. Back in high school, the girls would stay away from me. Now that I think about it, they were mostly afraid and didn't want to be near me. But these girls crowding over me is too much.

I look around the room the fine an empty seat to sit and I end up seeing Shen Yue sitting down. She finally gives me eye contact and she instantly has her mouth open when she sees me. I smirk at her reaction and walk towards her.

So far I only have her in one class. I stand beside her by the chair and she slowly turns her head now looking at me. Her expression finally changes and now she just looks mad.

As I try to sit, I see her placing her hand on the chair to stop me.

"Go find another seat. I don't want you sitting next to me." She says and I scoff a bit.

"I want to sit here." I say to her.

"I don't care. Why don't you sit next to those pretty girls over there. They clearly want your company." She says and I turn my head to look at those girls.

"Why would I do that? I don't sit next to people that I don't know." I admit to her and I hear her scoff.

"Since when we know each other? All I know is that you are an arrogant son of a b-"

"Shen Yue!" I hear the professor call out her name. Yue stands up from her chair.

"Yes sir?" She says

"Do you have a problem in my class?" The professor asked.

"No sir." She says.

"Than stop waisting time. There is a student waiting to sit down and you are holding him up." The professor says and I look at Yue expression. I want to laugh so hard but I feel like that would get me yelled at to.

"Sorry sir." Yue bows and apologizes and sit down. I finally sit down next to her and she quickly moves her books to the other side of her.

"Now for your first assignment. I want everyone to partner up with the person beside you. This is a way to get to know each other as students and individuals." The professor says and I turn to look at Yue. She doesn't seem pretty thrilled about us being partners.

"Looks like we are partners." I remind her with a smirk on my face.

"Don't remind me." She says with her hand on her forehead.
