Shen Yue's POV
I thought about what Mr. Wang said to me all last night. I couldn't sleep or eat anything but there is nothing that I can do. I can't be with Dylan anymore. There was so many things I wanted to do with Dylan.

At the end of our one month period, I was finally going to confess and tell him I love him. I'm at the rooftop because I needed some time to prepare myself for what I am about to do.

"Yue!" I hear my name being called out and I turn to see it's Dylan. He rushes over to me and grabs me and hugs me tightly. "I was so worried about you all day yesterday. Why didn't you call me back?" He asked.

"Dylan there is something that I need to tell you." I say to him and Dylan let's go of me.

"What is it?" He asked me.

"I wanna break up." I admit to him and Dylan seems to not have processed what I said by his blank expression on his face.

"Why?" He finally asked and I look up at him.

"I just feel like we are from to different worlds and we don't fit together." I tell him.

"Bullshit." He spats at.

"It's not. It's true." I say to him.

"Do you know what you are saying right now?" He asked me.

"Yes I do." I admit to him.

"I made a promise to you that I am never gonna leave you. I'm not backing down so why are you?" He questioned me.

"It was a mistake." I mumbled a bit.

"Mistake? Yue we had a deal that we stay together for a month until I make you like me." Dylan reminds me.

"I don't like you. I can never like you. We are not meant to be so just drop it." I state to him. Lying to him is making this even harder.

"Yue please don't give up. I have a plan." Dylan starts to beg.

"What plan? There is no plan! I don't want to be with you okay!" I start to yell at him. "You have a big responsibility and your future to worry about." I tell him and now I hear Dylan scoffing.

"I get it. That's why you didn't go to work or I didn't see you come home. You went to my house to see my father and he told you everything." Dylan says as I turn to the other direction to not face him anymore.

"W-Why didn't you tell me you were getting married soon?" I questioned him.

"Because it wasn't true! I wasn't gonna marry her." He tells me.

"You should. She's rich and I bet she's beautiful. I'm not rich nor beautiful." I tell him.

"Yue I don't care about her or anyone. I wanna be with you." He tells me. Hearing him say that makes me want to jump in his arms but I can't.

I have to end this.

"I don't care. I don't want to be with you anymore. In fact, I was only using you to see how it was like to be popular and have everyone talk about me. I had no intention of liking you." I lie to him as I stare deep into his eyes.

"Who are you?" He asked.

"I'm sorry Dylan but it's over." I say to him as I walk pass.

"Yue!" I hear him call out.

No, No. Keep walking Yue. Don't look back because if you do all the things you said would be for nothing.

"Yue!" I still hear Dylan screaming out my name and I start to cry.

After school I decided to go to Xiang Wen's Job on her break time to tell her everything.

"So you broke up with him?" She asked.

"Yea." I admit.

"I'm sorry things couldn't work out Shen Yue. I know you really liked him." Xiang Wen says as she comforts me.

"What do I do now?" I asked her.

"There is only one thing you can do." She says.

"I guess.....I have to move on." I say to her.

"Are you sure you want to do that?" Xiang Wen asked me.

"If I'm honest, no but what choice do I have?" I questioned her. "Mr. Wang told me that Dylan is in an arranged marriage. I can't be with Dylan if he is getting married." I tell Xiang Wen.

"Yeah but that doesn't mean Dylan is gonna do it. I know Dylan and he would never do things that he doesn't want to. Despite how it looks, you shouldn't give up. Dylan doesn't want to and so should you. Dylan's been fighting for you. You should fight to. He can't win if he is doing it alone." Xiang Wen explains.

Should I keep fighting? I don't want Dylan to do this alone. I want to be with him and I realize that even more now. I realize that he makes me so happy and I can be my true self.

But how do I fight against Dylan's father?
