Dylan Wang's POV
I'm heading towards the kitchen to get some breakfast until I see my parents already sitting down.

"I'm heading off to school." I announce to them.

"Sit." My dad commands and I walk over to sit at the dining table. "Where did you find that girl?" My dad questioned me and I look up at him.

"That girl?" I repeat. I scoff as I begin to stand up from the table.

"Dylan please." My mom begs but I just ignore and walk away.

"Wang Hedi!" My dad shouts at me. Normally it's extremely rare for me to be called by My full name but in this case it means business. "I'll ask you again. Where did you fin that girl?" My father questions me again.

"I've known Yue since high school. We've known each other for years. I love her dad. I really do. Four years later, I finally had the courage to ask her out and now we are together." I explained to him.

"I don't think she is the perfect match for you. I mean her family doesn't make much money. They are poor." My father says.

"I don't care who daughter she is. I love her." I state to him.

"I don't care who you love. Life isn't about falling in love and fooling around. It's about important things like what you have to do in the future and that is to run Wang group one day. Being with that girl is a distraction." My dad admits.

"Yue is not a distraction. She's a good girl and you are judging her because of her family." I tell my dad.

"I know what's best for you! I'm your father!" My dad yells.

"Yes you are my father but that doesn't give you the right to tell me who I can't be with." I say to him as I walk away from the dinning room.

"Wang Hedi! Wang Hedi!" I hear my dad yells but I keep walking.

I made it to school and I try to find Shen Yue. I look all around for Yue but I finally found her at the rooftop by herself.

"Yue!" I call out to her and I see her turn her head. "Are you alright? I came by your house this morning but your parents told me you already left early." I asked her.

"Oh sorry. I just wanted to be alone for awhile this morning." She admits to me.

"Are you upset about my dad? Don't worry about him. Nothing is going to change because I still like you." I admit to her and Yue looks up at me.

"Is it really be gonna be okay?" She asked.

"Yes." I assure her.

"I feel like your dad doesn't think I am the perfect girl for you." She admits.

"You are the perfect girl. You're everything that I want in a girl." I admit to her and I see Yue eyes start to water.

I see Yue coming up to me as she comes into my arms as I hug her tightly.

"Dylan. Do you promise not to leave me?" She asked in my arms and I hold her head as I pet her hair.

I'm a bit shocked that she is asking this but I am also relieved that she doesn't want to give up on us.

"I promise." I say to her and I feel her tightly holding me again.

9:30am
After I took Yue to her class, I meet up with Caesar, Connor, and Darren in a club room that we recently found in the school. It's vacant, so no one goes in here. I told them everything and what my father said about Yue.

"What are you going to do?" Connor asked me.

I originally planned what I was going to do all night after my father disrespected Yue.

"I'm going to leave Shanghai with Yue for awhile." I admit to them.

"Dylan that's crazy talk." Caesar states to me.

"What about college?" Darren questioned me.

"There are many colleges in the world. Yue and I can pick one and study there together. I don't want my father or anyone hurting her again." I admit to them.

"Dylan, I understand that you are frustrated but-"

"You should had seen her face this morning! Yue was sad and hurt and I hated seeing her like this." I cut off Connor as I lash out. "My dad wants me to leave Yue. I'm guessing his motive is he wants me to be with someone who would benefit Wang group." I explain to them.

"How do you even know if Yue wants the leave with you? You both are only 18." Darren asked me.

"Whatever the sacrifices that I make is for Yue. I want to be with her. Hold her, Comfort her, Love her. No one else. I decide my own future for now on." I state to them.

"But Dylan-"

"Like I said, I'll leave Shanghai to be with Yue." I repeat to them again as I stand up and walk out of the club room.
