In the car we make small talk

"Thanks for letting me tag along"

"No problem"

"Hey how did you know about my cat?" I ask perplexed

"Well you seem like the kind of person who loves cats,and the cat hair in your clothes and the scratches on your back suggest that you have a black one"

I stare at him, gaping

"I'm impressed"

He looks at me and giggles (apparently tough attractive men giggle)

"I'm kidding babygirl , you told me"

I glance behind me in the rear view mirror, way too excited.

I must look nervous because derek looks at me.

"Someone following us,007?"

"No, im just super excited"

I notice the traffic slowing us down

"Wouldnt it be faster if we went straight through the city?"

"What do you want me to do?"

"Get creative with your driving skills!"

"Im working on it,Emily!!!"
