"Ah, Winnie, did you have fun?" Yieun asked from inside the car.

WinWin's ran his hand along the door until he gripped the handle and could make his way inside. "Yeah, sure."

"I bet bringing the blind guy to the mall was interesting," Yieun joked, looking up at me. She flashed a smile full of perfect teeth.

"It was nice, really." I let out a short laugh and pat WinWin's shoulder through the open window. "I'll see you some other time, buddy."

"Actually," Yieun started. "I was wondering if you wanted to join us for dinner?"

"What?" WinWin and I replied in unison, yet in a different way. WinWin seemed completely shocked and had a disagreeing tone. I was pleased by her offer, and a smirk slowly crept onto my face.

"I would love to join you for dinner," I told Yieun, glancing at WinWin's disapproving expression. It only made we want to go even more.

"I don't think tonight is really a good night," WinWin argued. "How about we wait a couple days? Weeks? Forever?"

Yieun smacked his shoulder, causing him to scrunch his nose grumpily. "Winnie, tonight is a perfect night! Mom even cooked a delicious meal that's just waiting to be shared. I hope you're starving, Yuta, because our parents sure do love to fill up our guests."

"Oh, yes. I'm starving." A bright smile surfaced on my face. "I can't wait to join you."

"Just follow our car out. We aren't too far from here. See you there!" Yieun rolled up the window for WinWin. She waited until I was in my car to start driving away so I could easily follow.

I was excited to go over to WinWin's for dinner. A smile was present on my face the whole drive there just thinking about his stubborn face and disapproval of me coming over. He was quite cute when frustrated.

Yieun's car turned into a driveway that could fit about four large cars. It was surrounded by close houses on a small street. Their house was skinny in size, but tall. The outside was decorated nicely with tall trees and bushes that would for sure sprout beautiful buds in the spring.

"Your house looks lovely," I told Yieun and WinWin as she helped him out of the car.

"I'm glad you get the pleasure of seeing it," WinWin sarcastically replied, indirectly referring to his absence of sight.

"Sicheng," Yieun whispered his name in a scolding tone. "You better be nice to your friend. He's a guest and should be treated with respect."

"I never asked to have him as a friend."

   The words stung a bit.

WinWin began to walk off toward the house, seeming confident in his steps. Though, he wasn't aware of how close the steps were. His foot caught on the bottom and caused him to fall to the ground.

Simultaneously, Yieun and I rushed to his side. WinWin's rubbed his knee and winced as if it was stinging.

"I'm so sorry, Yuta," Yieun apologized, glancing at me with doe eyes. "He's never like this with people other than me. I wish you didn't have to see this side of Winnie."

"Don't worry about it. People have their stubborn side. I just hope I can break past his sometime." I gave Yieun a reassuring smile before turning my gaze to WinWin as he tried to stand with our support at his side.

"You might just be one of the best things to enter his life. I wish Winnie would realize how great you are." Each time she emphasized a word, Yieun would give WinWin a small nudge.

"I'm disabled and hurt. Give me some sympathy, woman." WinWin gritted his teeth when putting pressure on his left knee.

Yieun grunted. "Just change into some shorts and a short sleeve shirt so I can fix your wounds, you poor baby." Yieun dropped her support from under his arm. "Yuta, could you help him to his room? WinWin will direct you to it, he just needs the support from the fall. I need to check up on dinner and let our parents know you're staying for dinner."

I nodded. "Of course, but... how does he know how to get to his room?"

"Just because I'm blind doesn't mean that I can't memorize the steps it takes to get to all the different rooms in my house. I'm more skilled than you think." WinWin started to hobble with my support down a hall.
