Taehyung was a bit overprotective regarding Yuna, after all she was his first love. Though one sided love left his heart aching, he just couldn't see Yuna hurt. The rumours going around Jimin didn't go unheard by him. As he dug out some info, he found out about Jimin going to the same high school as Yuna. Once Jimin had mentioned of him going to the same high school as Yoongi. Since Yoongi switched high school twice for some reasons, Tae didn't give it a thought. And the person he sent to find out about Jimin, came back with some exclusive details.

Tae decided to confront Jimin today. What was Jimin's motive behind hiding his past from Yuna? he thought entering his office.

As soon as Jimin got free from his tour, Taehyung called him to meet at the company's building. Tae sat inside the conference room across the wide outspread cream conference table, with chairs arranged neatly on the either sides. As soon as Jimin arrived Tae gestured him to take a seat across. Jimin who thought this meet was supposed to be friendly, found Tae's behavior a bit odd, nevertheless he played along taking a chair opposite of him.

"So Jimin_ah how was your tour?" he smiled making the other confused.

"It was good. But I don't think so you called me all the way just to ask this. Taehyung_ah what's going on?" Jimin asked searching for answers, rather finding his grey orbs brimming with questions. Tae smiled walking around the table, taking a seat in front of him.

A ping sound echoed inside the room as Jimin fished his phone out of the pocket, checking whether Yuna messaged him. He swiped the screen as the corners of his mouth turned up in a lopsided smile, his eyes gazing the wallpaper. It was a pic of him kissing Yuna's cheek, where she was looking all flustered.

He clearly remembered that day, they were enjoying each other's company at a cafe, well hidden from the prying eyes. Yuna leaned on the table as Jimin gestured her for a selfie. She smiled, her eyes focused on the camera, as an idea crossed his mind. A sly smirk formed on his lips glancing Yuna's side profile. He took the chance and quickly pecked her cheek, as a click sound was heard. Later Yuna kept hitting his shoulder for being a tease, he would never leave a chance to make her flustered. He missed Yuna so much, sighing he checked the message, it was a spam.

Yuna didn't tell him about her call on the day of his concert, when they met. She hesitated and he didn't feel the need to know if she wasn't ready to tell. She would eventually tell him everything, as he too bucked up the courage to tell her about his past. He doesn't wants to tell her everything but the fear of loosing her held him back.

What if Yuna hates me? Would she leave me after I tell her everything? Will she accept me with all my flaws? All these thoughts kept him from revealing anything to her.

Tae cleared his throat, eyes shooting daggers at Jimin, which didn't go unnoticed by the silver haired. Tae may or may not have glanced at the cute picture of the couple, cringing internally.

"I hope we don't have any distractions while talking. It's something serious Jimin" he said in a low voice pointing towards his phone.

"Okay carry on" Jimin nodded, keeping his phone aside.

Is Tae trying to get on my nerves now, what does he want from me. Weren't we getting along after he helped me with that stalker who took my pic. Why so uptight all of a sudden? Jimin thought as his jaw clenched.

"Are you being truthful towards Yuna?" the question caught Jimin off guard.

"W...why would you ask this all of a sudden Tae? That's something between me and Yuna. Shouldn't you be asking that to yourself, were you truthful enough to her? Aren't you good at hiding facts?" he snickered running fingers through his silver locks.

"Jimin I care for her and I need to know if the person whom she's falling for is truthful towards her and wouldn't hurt her" Tae maintained his firm posture, though a bit shaken by Jimin's confrontation.

"I won't hurt her Kim Taehyung. I think I've already made myself clear when I introduced her as my girlfriend"

Taehyung clutched his fists tightly hearing those words.

How dare he say that after hiding things from Yuna! I'll make him regret everything, who does he think he is, Tae smirked

"So you are hiding something" he said as Jimin rolled his eyes.

"Can I ask you, why are you so interested in my personal matters?" Jimin asked resting his chin on the palms.

"It involves Yuna too that's why"

"Okay fine! I am, but not for long. I'll tell her soon, happy?" Jimin said clenching his fists tightly under the table.

"Why not now?"

"What's with all the questions? Am I being interrogated now? What am I, a suspect Taehyung_ah?" Jimin stared Tae in disbelief, he never liked anyone prying his life. He loved his personal space, not even allowing his closest friends in it. Of course Yuna was an exception, he loved her.

"And to answer your question, I'm not ready for that yet. Isn't it my call what and when to do that? I already told her about things I'm keeping from her. She assured me she'll wait till I'm comfortable enough to tell her everything. And let me tell you, she respects my personal space unlike a certain someone here" Jimin scoffed eyeing Tae.

"Are you afraid she'll leave you once you tell her the truth?" Tae's words struck him like a bolt of lightning, he quickly hid the panic replying Tae with his new found confidence.

"She won't leave me Taehyung, I know that well" Jimin said through his gritted teeth.

"What if she does? Didn't you ditch her once at high school?"

"H....how? Are you spying on me now?"

"Don't you know about me Park Jimin! I can dig out information from anywhere. Did you forget about the pic incident? I saved your ass there" he arched an eyebrow as Jimin snickered.

"Now I doubt whether you helped me or were you the one behind that?" he squinted his eyes scanning the brunette's face which turned pale.

"Hah! GOTCHA!" Jimin yelled out seeing the baffled look on his face.

"Aren't you too obsessed with Yuna! I love her and she loves me back. Play all the dirty tricks up your sleeves Kim Taehyung, it's just useless. Our love is stronger enough to face any storm coming our way. We can go through anything till we have each other" Jimin said with determination in his eyes, even he didn't know where this confidence came from. Even he feared for Yuna's reaction, but somehow he felt she would try to understand him.

"That is for Yuna to decide not you" Tae scoffed.

"So you do expect her to come back to you, if we ever break up? Keep on dreaming as that day won't arrive anytime in the future" he smirked as Tae clutched his fist tighter, knuckles turning white.

"Jimin don't act so cocky and answer my damn questions" Tae banged his fists loudly on the table, the boy across didn't even flinch, scanning his nails.

"I don't want to, it's simple as that. I'll answer if it's Yuna, I'm not answerable to you" he rolled his eyes clicking his tongue.

"You have to. Or atleast tell her why you hid it till now"

"You won't be deciding what I do Tae" he sneered looking away.

"I can or better, should I tell it to her myself?" Tae snickered as he met the panicked brown orbs.

"No you won't" Jimin stood up aggressively, his chair falling backwards.

"I can and why shouldn't I? Give me a reason"

"You want a reason now" he smirked as Tae nodded demanding a valid reason.

Jimin chuckled as he sat on the table facing him, lowering his face to meet his eyes, as the brunette eyed him with a puzzled look.

"Then don't underestimate me too Kim Taehyung! I too have some information about you" Jimin said with a sly smile, his voice sweet as honey.

"Is it so? I would love to hear that" Tae chuckled, hiding his nervousness behind a facade, sliding his sweaty palms along the sides of his trousers.

"Wasn't there a bet involved for which you approached Yuna in the first place?" Jimin asked cocking an eyebrow as Tae's face turned pale.

"You made a bet that you would make Yuna fall for you in a week, but you failed. Yuna wasn't like any other girl. Didn't she reject you on your face? It hurt your ego, as rejection wasn't something you faced till now" he chuckled as Tae's eyes widened.

It was true that he approached Yuna due to a bet, but later fell head over heels for her. How could he not when she was so beautiful inside out.

"Everyone tends to go behind someone who's out of their reach, you weren't different. What was your bet, to woo her in 7 days or get her to your bed within 30. So did you achieve that Mr. Kim?" he sneered as Tae's grip on the arm of his chair tightened.

Tae was shocked, how Jimin knew about this? Only Jin knew about it! Words got stuck in his mouth sitting there frozen.

"Jin hyung discussed things about you when I was a trainee here. He was worried about you getting into bad influence there, feeling so helpless as he couldn't do much due the distance. He treated me like a younger brother and shared some of his worries with me" Jimin said watching the brunette getting baffled.

"And you are using it against his own brother" Tae scoffed leaning back on his chair.

"Everything is fair in love and war Taehyung_ah. Didn't you do the same? Did you play fair?" he smirked crossing his arms.

"If you spill the beans I won't be a silent spectator, watching everything from afar. I would tell her this short story of your bet. As far as my past is concerned, she may forgive me as I'm making up for that now. But your secret is darker than mine Taehyung, she may not forgive you for it. The friendship and trust she has in you would be broken. Back then I didn't know the girl you toyed around with was Yuna. Does Yoongi hyung know about it? I bet no! Who would tell him?" he chuckled bitterly.

"I.....it was a mistake. I didn't mess around with her. I was serious about my feelings"

"I told you we get attracted to ones out of reach. Yours was an attraction too"

"It was love Jimin not a mere attraction!"

"It was, you got attracted to a girl who rejected you and you did everything to make her yours. But she never loved you, she always loved me Taehyung. We were meant to be. I came to her life first, I was her first love" Jimin said pointing a finger at himself.

"But I was her first boyfriend"

"She just wanted some kind of closure from me so she gave you a chance. Just get a hold of the truth, Yuna and me were fated" he smiled victoriously.

Taehyung sat there defeated, he had nothing more to say in his defense. He sighed massaging his temple.

"I'm sorry if i went overboard, but you stepped on the wrong nerve. Yuna is my weakness as well as my strength, I would fight anyone for her. I can't loose her" he said getting up going towards the door.

"Just don't keep her in the dark for long Jimin, please" he sighed not meeting his gaze.

"Okay, I will"

"And take care of her, I know you will, but still" Tae's voice cracked meeting the brown orbs, which turned glossy.

"I will, always" he smiled closing the door behind, leaving Tae alone in there.

"I knew Yuna was never mine since the very beginning. Still I clung onto her, call me selfish but I needed her, her love, her affection, her friendship. I love her so much, but it's time I let you go Yuna. I.....I don't deserve you" he said breaking down, tears coursing down his cheeks.

I'm ready to let go.....

Flashback....

"Yah Kim Taehyung!" Jake called out as Tae turned around with a boxy smile, a bag hung on his shoulder.

"Hey Jake! Wassup bud?" he asked as they did their peculiar handshake, bumping each other's chest at the end.

"Nothing much. You know I heard something interesting. There's a new girl on our campus"

"So what?" Tae wasn't interested in meeting girls for a while after an incident which occurred a week ago.

"Her name is Min Yuna. She's from Seoul too!" Tae's face remained unfazed, the information wasn't something he asked for. Rather he was intrigued to find what was cooking in his friend's evil mind right now.

"And she is your next target" Jake smirked.
