I can't.. are you getting it Arjun.. so all these days we have given shelter for a slayer.. she is a murderer of her own husband.. I don't want to take risk anymore by keeping her along with us..

Abhi's those words stagger Pragya and Arjun intensely ..

Pragya was deeply feeling her heart getting insanely numb.. as  those words from the man whom she never imagined to speak so..

But at the same time.. somewhere inside her.. she steadied herself realising the reality, that.. she deserves his each and every single drop of hate which is truly justified..

And she convinced herself saying that.. it is the penance for the sin which she did with him.. though.. she didn't expect that word from him.. murderer..!.. did he really.. .. no.. no.. he can't really..!.. She was in middle of her heart fluctuations..

Pragya..!.. Arjun held her shoulder calling her.. who was addicted to her mental trauma for the past few minutes.. she stood up looking at Abhi, who kept glaring at her.. and then her eyes flipped towards Arjun who was impotent.. she walked out of the room making Arjun more confuse.. and triggering Abhi's anger a little more..

Abhi looked at Arjun who said.. I said you Abhi.. not to oppress her.. I already expected this.. you will never listen to me.. I would have handled her nah..

Atleast now stop bracing her Arjun.. Abhi hollered and Arjun said... I'm not Abhi.. I'm just asking you to give her sometime.. try to understand the tenderness of this issue.. you can't just clout at her like this.. give her sometime..

Until when.. the police comes and arrests her..?!.. Abhi asked and Arjun kept quiet unanswerable.. and in meantime Krishna rushed inside saying.. Pragya is leaving the house with Kushi.. I tried a lot to stop her.. she isn't listening to me..!..

Arjun and Abhi at once ran out of the room followed by Krishna and saw the main door wide open.. walking out ahead they saw the place outright empty.. Arjun turned towards Krishna and asks.. Krishna.. where is she..?!..

Arjun.. she.. she lifted Kushi who was sleeping in the room.. I asked her to stop.. but she didn't.. then I came towards you two to inform.. May be she would have left by the time.. Krishna said..

Come on Krishna.. you are giving reasons rather than stopping her.. you know who she is..?!.. she is.. .. Krishna heckled in between Arjun and says.. Stop yelling at me Arjun.. she is no one for me.. why should I be back at her for no reason.. I just know that you people are helping her.. and I'm being your side.. I don't know who she is.. and don't want to know who she is..!..

Abhi clutched her arms and crushed almost giving her a mortal glare.. Do you know who she is.. how did you let her go.. how did you..?!.. Arjun stepped near him and pulled him back saying.. Abhi.. leave her.. she is not important now.. lets get Pragya and Kushi back.. before they get into trouble..

Krishna stood confounded looking at them.. while Abhi started his jeep and Arjun looked at her saying.. I'm sorry for what he did with you Krishna.. but please.. this is not the time to explain you everything in detail.. hope you will understand.. we will be back soon.. Krishna turned her face aside having a stern sight.. when Arjun heard Abhi giving a tremendous horn.. after which, he left along with Abhi..

Minutes passed.. the climate is getting worse.. The temperature is falling fast.. It's windy with the wet moistures all around.. There is snow in the rain that's splatting against the muddy ground.. Thin, dingy rain spat drizzled past the lighted street lamps.. and patted the doors and windows of the houses in which people resided safely away..

The corners of the house glowed by the candle light.. she looked around in order to select places to place the candles to get rid of the darkness.. her hot breath was so hard due to the coldness that filled around her.. at last she had two candles with her left.. she blinked looking around the place once again..

Will keep one in Mumma's room.. she whispered huskily and walked towards the room.. her sight got affected due to the light of the candle which she held in her hands.. she even got hit on her knees at the table which was on a side, on the way to the room..

Ahh..hh..!.. I will surely return my revenge.. because of these two.. I'm getting mad..!.. she rebuked her words in pain.. though her pain sucked her, down till knees.. she managed reaching the room and placed one candle at the bed side table.. she looked to her right side where the rainy breeze was storming in.. she pulled the blanket over her mother, and stepped to close the window.. once she locked it.. she heard the calling bell..

Relieving a smirking sigh.. I'm not gonna open the door.. let them both stay out..!.. She muttered sorely.. having one candle with her.. she came back to the living room and looked at the door.. the bell rang again.. she stood stubborn staring at the door.. after a long blare of the bell sound.. she unlocked the door and opened it..

She didn't wait to see the person before her.. instead her voice sounded.. Get lost Arjun.. how dare you to come again here.. both of you.. get lost..!..

Krishna..!. She heard the soft erect voice of Aaliya who was actually present in front of her eyes.. biting her tongue.. she held her eyes closed in fear.. and Aaliya gasped in shock at her words..

I'm so sorry Aaliya di.. I.. I thought it's Arjun.. and.. she paused looking at her who was firing her eyes.. You first get in.. She said grabbing her hands slowly and making her walk behind her..

Aaliya di.. sit down.. relax yourself.. would you like to fresh up.. hmm.. here.. this is my room.. she pointed towards her left side.. and continued.. you can fresh up.. I.. will get you some tea.. she chuckled voicing in fear.. and took a step ahead, but stopped turning towards her saying.. Oh yes.. I'm sorry.. I forgot that you prefer coffee more than tea.. I will be back by the time you get freshen up..

Her unrest smile was very clear to Aaliya's sight.. who stood dumb all the time listening to her blabbers.. Finally.. she spoke.. Won't you ask me about my presence here..?!..

Krishna with her spouting eyes pressed her lips being irrefutable.. while Aaliya continued.. By the way.. did Arjun and bhai come here..?.. why did you yell at me about Arjun..!?..

Di.. I was just kidding.. you.. you now right.. Arjun always keeps on pulling my mood.. he irritates me all the time.. So.. I just .. I thought it is him and started howling at you..!.. Krishna mumbled her words little louder as she minded her forehead sweat running down her neck by the time..

But.. why did you expect Arjun at this time..?.. and of course bhai too..?.. Aaliya questioned again making her more fright.. Haan.. that's what I said nah.. Arjun always.. .. before her words could complete.. Aaliya stepped closed giving her a fatal sight..

I'm sorry..!.. Krishna said monotonously.. Where is bhai and Arjun..?!.. Asked Aaliya.. for which she shook her head as no.. and Aaliya said.. Remember.. I won't spare you.. if you hide anything from me.. where is bhai and Arjun..?!.. their mobile is not reachable.. they aren't at house.. nor here..!..

May be they are held up with any work..!.. I mean.. some important work..!.. Krishna said making herself steady.. I don't think so..!.. because I very well know about their work cases and their timings.. what is the work much important that they hid from me.. and that too at this night..?.. why were you expecting them at your door step at this time..?!..

After listening to Aaliya's arduous warning.. Krishna dazed her eyes and her mind striked.. I don't think it is too late now.. I'm sorry Arjun.. not anymore.. I know that I promised you to hide about Pragya and Kushi.. But I don't want to bare Aaliya di's upbraids.. I'm gonna tell everything..!..

Krishna..!.. Aaliya grasped calling her out of her hunches..

Haan.. I know where they are..!.. Krishna started with a leaden tone.. and Aaliya gave her a attentive look.. while she continued.. Abhi and Arjun are now in search of her.. Pragya..!..

What..?!.. Pragya..?.. did you just said Pragya.. that name.. Pragya..?.. Aaliya choked her voice in between her breath asking her.. and Krishna gave her an assuring nod..

No.. No.. it can't be.. Krishna.. you.. you are mistaken.. it must be not her.. you are surely mistaken..!.. Aaliya held her arms squeezing it by howling at her.. while Krishna shook her head negatively saying.. No Aaliya di.. it's Pragya.. and she.. .. she paused and Aaliya gestured as what..?.. She and her daughter Kushi.. both were here in my house.. before they were at your house.. just a day before Abhi and Arjun made them both stay here.. so that they will be hidden from you..!..

Aaliya left her go with a stumble.. where Krishna was quiet confused looking at her ruinous state.. and once again Aaliya held her arms asking her to say further.. with a warning of not to hide a single scene from her.. for which Krishna obeyed and spills out each and everything that happened so far, making Aaliya more wrathful..

At another place..
around 3.30 am..

Each seconds passed with utmost traction.. the cloudy nights held the adamant to withhold the darkness.. also the rain was crying to make the darkness not to disappear..

Arjun looked at his wrist watch.. which showed him 3.35 am.. very gently he pressured his right leg and pressed the brake to stop the jeep.. flipping his head back.. he saw Abhi sitting next to Pragya who was asleep already.. her head at his right shoulder.. and his hand around her shoulder.. while Kushi was wrapped inside his jacket.. he held her close to him making her secured in her sleep..

2 minutes.. I will be back.. Arjun whispered and Abhi gave a soft single nod.. stepping down.. he looked behind and crossed the road.. as Abhi kept looking at him till he disappeared from his sight.. Sliding his head over her head.. he inhaled her fragile fragrance.. which brought a searing smile over his lips..

Abhi's POV..

"The reason it hurts so much to separate is because our souls are connected.. Pain played it's pesky part in our lives .. I've come to know, it feels like a stab wound to the heart, something I wish we could all do without, in our lives here...

Here she is.. all mine, trying her best to give me all she can.. but what did I do.. How could I ever hurt her..?.. But I didn't understand then... That I could hurt so badly from which she would never recover.. I'm asking myself that.. how did I just start living, making her heart hurt and crippling her soul into multiple pieces.. I'm shamefaced..

My heart is sank.. my chest felt so heavy pain..She deserved love and I gave her hate..!.. the time when I have to be at her side.. I didn't.. How did I fail to notice her eyes on that day.. how a fathead I was..!..

Not even once I flipped back to know the truth.. how much she has gone through.. all these years I have lived a insane life by cursing her.. I kept her as the sin of my life.. how did I become this much cruel.. Yes.. I even now wish to delete those minutes of my life..

I hate my heart which had the hatred for you.. I didn't let out my love move forward because of this hatred on you.. if once I had done it.. this moment wouldn't have been our present.. The truth is.. my past is the curse of your present..

I wish you understand how broken I am inside.. how lonely I feel each moment.. my discord heart is guilty for mistaking you.. and your forgiveness can only fix it..!.. How will I make you understand that.. I never stopped loving.. I just stopped showing it..!..

Abhi.. shall we move.. Arjun's voice shook him.. Shall we move..?! Arjun asked once again.. for which Abhi gave a silent nod as usual.. Arjun got back over his seat and twisted the key..

There prevailed a intense calmness between their voices.. Arjun looked at the front mirror.. where Abhi kept staring at it for a long time..

What happened now..?.. you want to say something..?.. Arjun asked.. and Abhi shook his head negatively.. It's okay Abhi.. you can tell it.. As far as I know.. Pragya is sleeping.. she is really sleeping..!.. Abhi gave a quick glance at Pragya to confirm about her sleep and flipped his face to Arjun.. Come on Abhi.. I said nah, she is really sleeping..

Shut up Arjun..I know her better than you..!. Abhi howled a little.. and Arjun shrunk his eyes at him saying.. Oh.. from when did this happen.. I never knew that you know her better than me..!?.. Abhi threw a glaring sight at him and kept quiet.. while Arjun continued.. Abhi.. I must tell.. at least you have some sense better than your sister.. if she would have been in your place nah.. it will be very difficult..!..

That's true Arjun.. Infact I was thinking about her only.. how are we gonna explain her everything..!.. said Abhi..

Haan Abhi.. I didn't think about this.. by the time she would have reached home nah.. oh no..!.. then Pragya.. Kushi..?.. Abhi.. I didn't strike my brain about Aaliya earlier.. If I had.. I wouldn't have let you angry on Krishna.. and messed up with her.. now where will we make Pragya and Kushi stay..!.. Arjun sounded in dismay..

At Krishna's home..

His love for her had no limits.. He himself never knew that he will get into such feelings in his entire life.. When papa and mumma left us alone in this world.. we both resided for each other.. He was 17 years and I was just 12 years.. after his school he went for job.. he worked his two years to earn money, to make me survive with no harm..

After two years he joined college because of my compulsion.. and he completed it with a good rank.. By the time I too completed my schooling.. he joined army along with his college friend Arjun..

Arjun..!.. He too is like us.. He had his uncle as guardian.. May be that's why bhai is too much attached with him.. of course, even I was..

They moved to Dheradun as they got posting there.. and since I joined college in Pune, I couldn't discontinue it.. I stayed in Pune.. In college hostel..

Days passed, everything was moving perfectly normal.. Nothing changed between us.. other than Arjun and my relationship.. Yes, I started loving him.. and secretly he too.. Not even a hint I could glimpse from him..

As usual I went Dheradun for one of the weekend.. that night, we had dinner in one of our favorite restaurant.. while bhai caught Arjun stealing my handkerchief..

Silly..!.. He knows from very first that I and Arjun like each other.. about our hide and seek feelings.. but, he kept quiet not to interfere.. because he wanted us to settle everything by our own.. though, that night he broke his silence and clutched my hand in Arjun's hand..

Yes.. it was very shocking for both of us.. especially Arjun.. I still remember.. he was behaving like a five year old kid in front of us.. that cuteness, his innocence was the thing I loved in him the most.. after that we became three.. as our family..

It repeated.. I used to visit them for often of my weekends.. they kept normal.. we enjoyed each and every second.. those were the most sweet memories of our life..

And finally the day entered our life.. She swayed everything.. impaired his peace.. ours too.. she threw him out of his life.. that self-seeking.. heedless woman.. made my bhai's love a laughter fun.. she scorned his true feelings.. it hurted his breathe.. he was broken to the worse of deepest.. for the first time I saw him crying..

Yes, he didn't cry in front of me even when our parents left us.. he wants to show me that he is strong and he is there for me still..!..

But, she made him cry in front of me.. I felt him absent, being him present beside me.. he meant that she is the sunshine of his life.. but later he realised that.. no, she made him realise that.. sometimes it's the sunshine that frightens us more than the big black shadows..

I know everything and nothing about him all, at the same time... When you really love someone, you see all their mess and their brokenness and you love them anyway. In fact, seeing all of that sort of makes you love them more.. he loved her like that..

It's hard to watch the game we make of love, being fouled by the person whom we loved and trusted beyond everyone, everything .. in front of our eyes.. isn't that cruel..?!.. Pragya.. she played the foul game..!.. .. Saying so.. Aaliya let out a deep sigh..

Just then they heard the calling bell.. and Aaliya paused looking at the door as well as Krishna.. and after a few seconds she looked at Krishna.. who stood inscrutable..

Arjun is gone.. he is gonna be dead in Aaliya di's hands.. god.. please save him..!.. Krishna prayed silently.. and Aaliya fumed her eyes at the door.. once again the bell was pressed.. and this time very stressfully..

Aaliya stepped near Krishna.. and whispered softly.. Go and open the door.. don't let them know that I'm inside.. just stay casual and let them in silently.. did you get it..?!..

Krishna agreed with a nod and walked towards the door.. where in between she flipped her face often towards Aaliya.. after a deep silence.. she clutched the handle of the door and pulled towards her..
