"The next plant has arrived. Get in already" The adult said. "Actually I think I'll-" Hiro wasn't able to finish his sentance, before the entire plantation shook.

" What was that!?" Hiro asked no one.

That came from the direction where Naomi's- "Those things weren't there before!" Hiro shouted.

The ground under the plant bulged up, before exploding. A large Klaxosaur was in the spot the plant was, said construct was currently in pieces.

..

'He's... the guy from before' Hiro realized as he saw the wheezing form of the man. "Hang in there" Hiro said, trying to see what he could do.

"Forget about him. He's done for" Zero Two said. "Zero Two, What are you doing here" Hiro asked. "I'm going monster hunting of course" Zero Two said. "Alone? But you'll die. Franxx can't be piloted alone" Hiro shouted. "...I'm always alone. That's how it's always been. ... I'm used to it" Zero Two said. It was confirmed now. This was the same Zero Two Hiro had met that night.

"You're not alone, Zero Two. You may not remember it, but I promised we would be together, that we would be each others wings. So even if it kills me, I'll fly that Franxx with you" Hiro said. His blue eyes burning with conviction. "What... What did you say" Zero Two asked, after stopping in her tracks.

"Before, when I said that I had promised that I would be someone else's darling... I didn't know it was you. Even after you told me your name, I still wasn't sure. But now I know. You are the same Zero Two I met that day. And I made a promise to you. I intend to keep it" Hiro said.

"Welcome aboard then... Darling" Zero Two said, extending her hand out.

Hiro grabbed the hand, and got pulled into the cockpit of the Franxx. Zero Two pulled him Hiro close, and kissed him.

The Franxx discarded it's stampede form, and took a more humanoid form, before the Klaxosaur attacked them.

(Meanwhile)

"Was it eaten!" Zorome shouted. "...no" Doctor Franxx said.

(Back to Hiro)

Strelizia held back the Klaxosaur with it's right hand, controlled by Hiro and Zero.

Strelizia pulled back it's left hand, and gave the Klaxasaur an uppercut, sending it down to the ground.

The robo-dinosaur-thing got up, opened it's mouth, and charged up a ball of energy in it's mouth.

Strelizia spun around, building up momentum, and threw it's spear, hitting the Klaxosaur in mouth.

Strelizia wasted no time, and rushed foward. grabbing it's spear, It pushed it further into the monster.

"Game over" Hiro and Zero Two's overlapped voices said, before the Klaxosaur exploded.

Zero Two, with Hiro lightly leaning on her, got out of the cockpit. Hiro, through his tired brain, and the height, could hear the schocked voices of his sqaud, but couldn't quite make them out, nor did he really care.

And boom. I realized this was really short, mostly due to me focusing rather heavily on things directly related to Hiro. So I decided to put part 3/part 003 in as well.

"So, how was it, piloting a Franxx, that is" Goro asked. "It's... exhausting. I'm not too sure about what your experiences will be, with my first time riding was with the 'partner killer'. I still refuse to believe the rumors, but you really never know" Hiro replied, 'although I know Zero Two wouldn't kill me on purpose'. 

Goro smacked Hiro's back. "Well, don't worry about it! All that matters is you defeated the Klaxosaur, Hiro. It seems you're really the type of person who pulls through when you need to" Goro complimented, "Honestly, I'm mostly glad that you and Ichigo are alright. You two are basically siblings, what with how close your codes are". "Thanks, Goro" Hiro said.

"Ha! I won't believe for a second this crybaby defeated a Klaxosaur before we did!" Zorome shouted. "'Morning" Futoshi called out. "I heard it was that Pistil, 002. It seems she's able to control a Franxx alone due to her unique 'condition'" Mitsuru said, "You saw her, right, Goro? That four legged beast. What I mean is, Hiro just got dragged along for the ride". "Mitsuru!" Goro shouted, "What are you trying to say!". "Hey, Hiro. Don't mind him. Let's just head to the dining room" Goro offered. Hiro just boredly stared at Mitsuru and Zorome.

"So this is where the children of Plantation 13 stay? As I thought, it's not much different than in other cities." Zero Two said, holding a honey slathered steak over her mouth. "Zero Two? What are you doing here" Hiro asked as he entered the dining room.

Zorome shoved past Hiro, and put his hand over his chest. "Hey there" Zorome started, "It was a real treat to watch your skills in action". While Zorome was talking, Zero Two was staring at her honey sticky hand. 'This... isn't going to end well' Hiro thought.

"I Zorome The Great, The strongest Stamen in all of Plantation 13, Shall graciosly ride with you if you so desire. I'm sure I can do a much better job than that wuss. why don't we- EEK!". By this point, Zero Twi got f
tired of Zorome's chattering, and wiped one of her honey slathered hands on Zorome uniform. The other, she licked clean. "My Sunday Best!" Zorome mourned.

"Here. It's really nice and sweet. let's eat together, ok~" Zero Two said, offering Hiro a plate of honey smothered steak. "Uh... can... Can I just have normal steak. I'm not too big on honey" Hiro said, putting his hands up, trying not to offend Zero Two. "And don't worry about what the others say. You were incredible yesterday, Darling" Zero two said.

"Darling? What's that mean"
