What happens when two of things starts to mix together?

You get an Error - the humans who were wrongly placed, all because the system was broken.

Meet Y/N, first ever recorded Error. Follow his story as he goes through changes in his personality, morals and allegiances as he battles love, betrayal, sacrifice, retribution and the eternal quest for redemption.

➲ ARCS, BACKSTORY AND PREMISE:

Backstory:

Y/N was a normal human being on Earth who did as much good as he could. He was very energetic, in a good vibe, fella. Also, he was very into history and sociology.

Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor as a young adult. He lost the battle a year later, passing away in the 2000s.

You think a person like him would then be sent to heaven. Well, you would be in the wrong. Y/N soon after awakened lying on the street as a giant pentagram shined in the sky above him. He has officially entered hell (Pride ring).

{9 years before the Pilot}

For the first few months, he would be adapting himself to life in hell and trying to figure out what was the reason he was sent to hell, instead of heaven. He has also in that time learned all that was needed to be known about pentagram city. From the Hierarchy to the events known as the Exterminations.

He would struggle to survive, since his "angelic" behavior and good morals weren't very fond off in hell, he would constantly be an easy target for other sinners or demons.

{8 years before the Pilot}

It was at that time, around into his first year in hell and right after his first Extermination, which he would barely escape, that he would meet the princess of hell herself, Charlie Morningstar.

They would become friends very fast and soon after would officially start dating after Charlie had broken up with her first boyfriend.

They were like a match made in heaven, literally. They were both similar in their good, happy, excited and innocent behaviors.

Of course, Y/N would be still picked on and rejected by the cruel society of hell, but Charlie would always be there to support him. So he tried his best to do the same for her in the return.

In those 3 years of their relationship, he had told her nearly all about his life prior to his arrival to hell, but he had never told her how he had passed away in his previous life.

Then, everything would change on one certain day. It was the day that Y/N caught the attention of a powerful Overlord known as the Radio Demon. Alastor.

Y/N's unknown reasons of his arrival to hell to do his unique behavior would have intrigued the deer looking radio lover for him to reach out to the fellow sinner.

{7 years before the Pilot}

Alastor would try to make a deal with Y/N for his soul on multiple attempts, so he can study it for his own gains, but Y/N, now accustomed to hell's devilish nature, rejected all of Alastor's arrangements. By now, he knew who he was dealing with.

But luckily for Y/N, Alastor would one day, for unknown reasons, disappear, leaving him alone until they would meet once again in s2

Back to his relationship with Charlie, he would have met both of her parents. He met Lillith only once before she also went missing soon after the Alastor.

Even though he respected Charlie's royal position, he never cared about them when judging a person, so he would constaly be in a beef with her dad, the fucking King of Hell, Lucifer himself.

Y/N would also be the one responsible for planting an idea of opening a center where Charlie would be trying to redeem the sinners in near future.

But their love soon will come to a stop with Y/N's sudden disappearance from hell.

{5 years before the Pilot}

After the latest Extermination, Y/N would meet his fate by being killed by the thugs who were claiming the territory for some Overlord. It will be till later when he Will find out the thugs worked for the Vees.

Of course, being a human sinner, he gained the ability of immortality so he would spawn back in a couple of days. And in fact he did Spawn back, but not where he thought he would.

When light appeared infront of him, instead of being met with familiar dark streets of Pentagram City, he was met with blue sky and white clouds around him. He just spawned in heaven. The place he thought he should have came to originally. But he was still in his Hell's appearance, unlike the person he would meet right then.

There, he was face to face with Sera, an Seraphim Angel, one of higher ranking Angels in Heaven. And by her facial expression of Horror and shock, Y/N realized that something very serious happened. And it involved him.

Sera would take him to a secure site, where he would also meet two other Angels, Adam and Lute, who he will learn that they are the leadership duo of the Exorcists army. And 3 Angels then interrogated him.

He would tell them all about his prior and current life, everything but leaving out the fact that he is boyfriend of the princess of hell.

That small info was his first step of him transitioning from an innocent sinner to someone who would hold all the cards in his sleeve. The influence of Hell made him adapt with his morales. And now, he is doing it again, but this time with naive and ignorant Angels of heaven.

In return, Sera told him the possible reason why he ended in Hell. He was affected by the thing that they called "Complex beings"; humans who were too complex to be put in either hell or heaven, so the judging system selected their choice on random.

So with those existing, it was a matter of time before the system was broken. There, a New type of beings was invented: "Errors"; the humans who were wrongly placed, all because the system was broken. And now, Y/N has become the first Error ever recorded.

With Y/N now being the living evidence of Heaven's broken and hypocritical views, Adam and Lute were ready to get rid of him for good. But that was when Y/N made his first crucial move. He quoted to Sera:

"If you kill me, it will be in vain. You know why? Because if I am the first so-called Error ever recorded, that means others like me will follow soon. So, instead of killing me, how about you do some right and fix the mistake by bringing the right justice?

His words seemed to work, because Sera had just pointed to angry Adam and Lute to stand down.

"Here's a deal. You let me in heaven, where I should have been from beginning and I for you, I'll keep this secret from everyone in heaven. But for me to actually blend in, I'll need an Angelic appearance, no?"

He walks up to Sera with his hands connected infront of him.

"So, you'll give me an angelic form, but with me still keeping my demonic form. So I'll have the ability of formshifting. Why I want it? It might come handy in the future. But to show you I really belong in heaven, in return, I'll give you half of my soul. So you also can have some leverage in this deal. Do these conditions seem fair to you, your highness?"

Y/N raised his hand towards Sera. She looks back at her fellow servants. After a few seconds, they exchange nods before Sera turns back to Y/N and grabs his hand, shaking it, completing the deal, as both red demonic and white angelic auroras shine out from both Y/N and Sera as the deal was sealed.

{5 - 2 years before the Pilot}

Y/N would remain in heaven, as his access to hell was denied by Sera, so he would never get to see Charlie until S2.

Y/N fooled everyone with his angelic form and if someone asked him about his prior life, he would tell them that he had a great life and loving girlfriend before a brain tumor took him from her. He was mixing both of his life's together.

To be sure he won't backstab them, Adam put him as his Staff Sergeant of the Exorcists army and gave him a task of guarding a Certain person: Charlie's mom, Lillith.

To say both Lillith and Y/N seemed shocked to see each other is an understatement.

[ If it becomes true that a theory of Alastor giving his soul to either Lillith or Sera, let's say that would be another secret that Y/N would keep and adding another card up his sleeve ]

In those first 3 years in heaven, he had made 4 different bonds of friendships.

Adam - At first, they didn't get along, as Y/N viewed him as the person who really needed to go to Hell. But Y/N's behavior and morals started to shift slightly due to both corruption of his lives in hell and heaven. So he started to tolerate most of Adam's questionable choices. But he had to admit, Adam had a sickening humor.

Lute - Outside of Exterminations, she was a calm, collected character but with slight anger outbursts control problems. Of course, he didn't agree with her extreme view of slaughtering all the sinners, but that didn't stop them from having a mutual and professional relationship and talks.

Emily - The only truly person he really can call a friend had to be the same person he had to lie the most. The other reason he got along fast with Emily was because she reminded him of Charlie.

Vaggie - He met Vaggie during one of his hang outs with Lute, where she introduced him to a few of her Exorcist friends. For a person like her, Y/N was really confused why she would be an Exorcist. Also, he quickly figured that she was a Queer, another card slipping into his sleeve. Through their talks, he analyzed Vaggie as a protective type with a big heart. That's why he would be both cheerful and disappointed when Lute tells him she defected from the Exterminators.

{2 - 0 years before the Pilot}

As a Staff Sergeant, he got 8 to 16 Exorcists soldiers under his command, every year he gets the new group right after the Extermination.

They either help him guard over Lillith or Y/N uses them to train against them, improving his fighting style with various Angelic Weapons props. There he noticed the big weakness in the Exorcist's fighting style. Same one that Cammila Carmone would also tell Vaggie.

Those 2 years would be rather quiet, but he used them to his benefit, as he fully mastered the way of manipulation and strategy, with him holding an entire deck of cards of secrets and information.

That was until one day, while he was watching 666 News where he saw Charlie for the first time in 5 years and heard of her plan of opening the hotel for rehabilitation of sinners.

Her plan brought up some lost memories that his new personality had suppressed over the years he was in heaven.

He once thought of that idea. That's because he wanted to help innocent sinners who got fucked by the system like he was.

But Charlie's plan included everyone, which he didn't agree with. Y/N thought that those real sinners don't deserve a chance. They had freedom once and abused it to hurt others. They don't deserve redemption.

That's why he was split on the whole idea of Exterminations. On one hand, he agreed because you were getting rid of really bad people forever, permanently. But on the other hand, how many of those innocent sinners were caught in a crossfire because of it.

{0 - 6 months after the Pilot}

Y/N spent these months trying to get more information about Charlie's New Hazbin Hotel and It's residents. It came to him as a shock when he realized Vaggie was there, but for which reasons correctly, he didn't know. He was also very suspicious when he found out Alastor was there too. He knew Alastor had a much bigger goal to gain than just helping out the hotel and its plan.

And nothing was significant then the latests Extermination, which saw Adam die and reveal that Angels were not as Invincible as they thought they were.

While they were celebrating in Hell, here in Heaven, everything was in shambles. Heaven Split into two factions: those who were willing to open themselves to see Charlie's plan through and those who wanted to keep things as they were.

Thing that exelated the things was the first sinner to get redeemed by the name of Sir Pentious.

That's why Y/N requested Sera to be present at the court in which they were deciding what to do. Sera seeing no other options to calm the tensions, she accepted his request, because now she saw him ironically as truly the most fair person in heaven, even though he wasn't a true Angel.

In court, he for the first time revealed himself to residents of heaven in his demonic form and introduced himself as an Error, which also became his new nickname. To say atleast, Emily was shocked to found out that her friend was a innocent sinner, failed by their own damn system.

There, in court, infront of Sera, Emily, Lute and the council, he would share his views, good and bad, exploring and exploiting both sides to their cores, as his true mastermind finally showed itself to a larger crowd. Right then, he came with a solution:

"If you want real results, here's the solution. Instead of canceling the Exterminations fully, you will postpone it till further notice or on certain time. In the meantime, we will see if princess Charlie Morningstar's plan of redemption would show and produce satisfying results. To watch this project of hers, I recommend sending an angel to the Clock tower as his HQ post to oversee the hotel's progress and I know exactly a candidate for that position. As I already have a demonic form and already used to live down there, they would be less hostile towards me. And me being a Staff Sergeant of the Exorcists, I also have the trust of the soldiers from my decisions I had taken out. So, I nominate myself for that position of an Overseer for heaven. In return, I will answer to your highnesses, Sera and Emily of Heaven's council and to the Lute, new leader of the Exterminators, as It's fellow member. Does this preposition satisfy both sides?"

And that's how he enters into 2nd season, by going back to the Pride ring as an Overseer.

Season 2:
Already have chapter 1 planed, but will wait to see if I can come up with whole Season plot by using actual Season 2 rumors.
