*next day after school*

Nagisa [POV]

"Nagisa are you sure that you're ready for this?" Karma asked me after school

"Yeah he's healed enough to go out on his own" I replied petting Fennix on the head "Plus he's a fox" I led Fennix to the edge of the woods while he still wove in between my legs making it hard to walk.

"Should we wait for Kayano?" Karma asked

"No she said she didn't want to see him going away" I explained kneeling down next to Fennix

"It's sad saying goodbye to a friend" Karma muttered, I ignored him

"it's time to go, you don't need to stay here anymore" I told him patting him one last time before standing up.  Fennix seemed as if he understood me looking sad as he went off into the woods.  There was some sniffling behind us.  Turning around Korosensei was crying wiping his eyes with a tissue

"Korosensei how long have you been here?" I exclaimed

"And why are you crying you barely knew the fox" Karma added

"I'm just so proud of you kids taking charge and doing things on your own" He sniffled

"You didn't really provide much help this time" Karma pointed out "What else were we supposed to do"

"Yeah you weren't really much help" I agreed

"Where were you exactly when Nagisa was bleeding to death in the classroom" Karma asked rolling his eyes

"What! When did that happen?" Korosensei exclaimed looking at me

"Yesterday" I responded calmly

"Hey Nagisa remember in first hear when we would walk home together" Karma asked with a laugh ignoring Korosensei who was freaking out

"Yeah that was fun" I replied

"Can I walk home with you?" He asked with a smile

"Sure that sounds fun" I smiled back, we walked down the mountain side by side laughing about the day.  It was just like wen we were younger

Karma [POV]

Walking home with Nagisa was fun, it reminded me of when we were in first year.  When I got home though almost three hours later I got a call from Nagisa.  I answered the call putting the phone to my hear

"Um Karma" Nagisa mumbled as soon as I put the phone to my ear

"Yeah?" I asked confused

"You know how we released Fennix earlier at school?" He asked

"Yeah, why?" 

"Um I think he followed me home"

"How do you know?"

"Well for one he's sitting right at my doorstep" Nagisa explained

"What, How?" I asked

"I don't know he was just there when I opened the door"

"Um, I don't know bring him to school tomorrow you can deal with him there" I suggested

"My mom will kill me if she finds him" He explained audibly distressed

"Leave him outside or even take him downstairs until tomorrow"

"I've tried, he just keeps showing up at the door"

"Just leave him outside" I instructed

"He keeps scratching at the door" Nagisa explained

"Take him to your room and hide him or something" Nagisa didn't respond right away which worried me

"Oh god mom's home, I've gotta go Karma" I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye before he hung up the phone.  I really didn't have a good feeling about this.

*Time Skip: The next day*

I got to school before Nagisa which already made me nervous.  When he came in he was covered in scrapes Fennix still weaving between his legs

"I thought you got rid of him yesterday Nagisa" Terasaka shouted from next to me

"I did, he came back" Nagisa insisted taking his seat.  Fennix curled up under his desk.  As soon as it was lunch time I stopped Nagisa in the hall

"Did your mom find out?" I asked, he smiled shaking his head

"Thankfully she was too tired to even come in my room last night" He explained

"How'd you get all scratched up like that then?" I asked, Nagisa glance down at Fennix

"Do you know how hard it is to climb up a mountain with a fox weaving between your legs?  He kept tripping me" Fennix yipped excitedly, Nagisa sighed "I don't think he's leaving anytime soon"

"Well I think you'll have to get used to it" I laughed going back to class.  As lunch time had ended and by the time gym came around Nagisa seemed to have gotten used to it.  He wasn't tripping over Fennix at least.  Before class started I noticed Nagisa sitting on the ground his back up against the school building talking to Fennix gently stroking him.  Nagisa was planning something but the question is: What?  Gym class was going to start with the group sparing with Karasama sensei then branch off into pairs.  Yesterday when we did pairs no one was able to hit Nagisa anymore but he was able to hit his partner easily.  The class started as normal, a few got close to Karasama sensei but he dodged their attack as usual.  At the start Fennix was close by Nagisa but mostly stayed out of the way.  I don't think it was for Nagisa but for himself.  Nagisa was much faster than he was yesterday and even then he was really fast almost as fast as Karasama sensei.  After a while of this it seemed as if Nagisa had started his plan.  He went up behind Karasuma sensei a python like bloodlust radiating through the courtyard.  Everyone felt it.  Everyone stopped attacking, we were all curious what he was going to do.  Nagisa came up behind Karasuma sensei ready to attack but Karasuma sensei felt it too and quickly went to block his attack.  That's when I noticed something he didn't, Fennix wasn't by Nagisa's side anymore, he was a few meters away from Karasuma sensei.  Right as he went to block Nagisa's attack Fennix barked loudly distracting Karasuma sensei for a split second.  Nagisa used that millisecond of an opening to his advantage to get in front of him landing a solid hit with the rubber knife.  Karasuma sensei seemed surprised

"Nagisa how'd you do that?" Kayano exclaimed confused, Nagisa backed up a few steps lowering his rubber knife

"I just figured since no openings open up on their own I would make one" Nagisa replied scratching the back of his neck

"Good Job Nagisa" Karsuma sensei praised.  Nagisa smiled, I walked up to him

"I think using Fennix is cheating" I joked messing up his hair laughing

"I only used my resources" he insisted laughing, Fennix bounded up taking his place by Nagisa's feet.  Karsuma continued class keeping a keen eye on Nagisa ready for anymore tricks he had but it didn't seam that Nagisa had anymore.

Nagisa [POV]

I didn't really have a plan to begin with but with the help of Fennix I managed to make an opening.  When class ended I went out into the woods where I first found Fennix.  Pushing aside a bush or two I managed to reveal two small moss covered headstones a few meters apart from each other.  I traced over the letters of the first one to reveal it better.  'Finn Connely 1862-1872 drowned' That must have been the little boy.  The next one was harder to read but I could just barely make it out 'Madison Connelly 1860-1872 drowned' that had to be the girl then.  I sat down on my knees bowing my head

"I'm sorry" I apologized "I'm sorry for what happened to you both" there was a small gust of wind followed by a whisper

"I'm sorry" It repeated "I see why you insist on continuing this game" there was another gust of wind and the voice was gone.  All was well now.  Everything was over

(A.N. so that's the end I hope you enjoyed, I would say I enjoyed writing it like I usually do but honestly I don't remember when I wrote this so I don't really have much to say on that part of it but I hope you enjoyed anyway)
