      Russetstar leaped onto the DawnStone. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here upon the DawnStone!" Stormpaw excitedly bounded out of the apprentices den. "Today, we have four fine new warriors. Stormpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend it with your life?" "I do." "Then from this day on, you will be known as Stormclaw. StarClan honors your thoughtfulness and bravery." Russetstar meowed. Stormclaw licked his leader's shoulder, then stepped back. "Shadowpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend it with your life?" "Yes!" "Then from this day on, you will be known as Shadowmist. StarClan honors your intelligence and swiftness." Shadowmist licked Russetstar's shoulder, her eyes shining. "Duskpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend it with your life? "Yes I do."  " Then from this day on, you will be known as Duskpetal. StarClan honors your big heart and loyalty." Duskpetal licked Russetstar's shoulder as well. "You were an excellent mentor." She murmured softly. "Eaglepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and defend it with your life?" "Of course!"  "Then from this day on, you will be known as Eagleclaw. StarClan honors your battle skills and loyalty." Eagleclaw purred and licked Russetstar's shoulder. "Stormclaw! Shadowmist! Duskpetal! Eagleclaw! Stormclaw! Shadowmist! Duskpetal! Eagleclaw!" The clan yowled. As the chanting died down, Russetstar said, "We also have three new elders. Lakefang, is it your wish to join the
elder's den?" Lakefang dipped his head. "Yes it is." Nodding, Russetstar looked at Honeymist. "Honeymist, is it your wish to join the elder's den?" "Yes" Russetstar dipped his head. "Blazeheart, is it your wish to give up your warrior duties and join the elder's den?" "I believe so." "Lakefang! Honeymist! Blazeheart!" The clan chanted. Redclaw watched fondly from the nursery, her eyes brimmed with tears.
