Stormpaw recognized Badger and Broken in the lead. "Well, what do we have here?" Badger sneered. "A bunch of wimpy kitties, that's what!" Broken stepped forward, shot Badger a glare and growled, "Come with us, idiots. You're our prisoners now." He flicked his tail, and the rogues formed a circle around the Clan cats. Lakefang whispered in Stormpaw's ear, "You're tiny. Run, and send a rescue patrol." Badger looked up. "What was that?" He growled. Lakefang turned his calm, but piercing gaze on Badger. "I just asked if he wanted to return, and I said he couldn't." Lakefang meowed calmly. Badger frowned but didn't say anything. "To camp!" he yowled and the rogues marched towards twolegplace.

Stormpaw found a gap and escaped, racing back to camp. Russetstar looked up. "What is it now?" Stormpaw, his chest heaving, said, "Rogues.. They took our patrol prisoner...There's a lot" Immediately Russetstar's fur bristled. "We will bring Blazeheart, Honeymist, their apprentices, Duskpaw, Wolfshadow, Thornblaze and Reedfur. Hawkfeather, run to LeapClan and try for help. Also try with GrassClan. We need all the help we can get because the rogues threaten us all." Hawkfeather nodded and raced out of camp. The rescue patrol growled and headed for twolegplace. "They can't even hide their scent!" Eaglepaw said with scorn. The cats followed the scent, and ended up at a dark twoleg nest.
