"And you trust him?! He tried to kill us!"

Mark shouts after Jack had explained everything, except the plan. One thing at a time.

Yes Mark, we all remember that.

Anti retorts sarcastically in Jack's head, though Jack forces him back at the moment, honestly afraid Mark would lose his temper if he started talking.

"He did... But that's in the past... He can help us."

Jack explains, keeping his voice calm. Mark paces the room, running a hand stressfully through his dyed red hair. The Irish man sighs and stands from the bed walking forward and grabbing the man's arm to stop him from pacing.

Mark turns to look at him, a small bit of anger, and a small bit of worry in his chocolate brown eyes.

"Look Mark... I don't trust him either... But if we work together we can get rid of Dark..."

Jack begins to explain, looking up at the slightly taller man pleadingly.

"I know you don't trust him... But trust me."

Mark sucks in a small breath as he watches the Irish man, studying his pale face, his pleading eyes. If Jack trusted him, maybe it was fine.

The red haired man shakes his head gently, the memories of what Anti had done overpowered any amount of trust Mark might have had.

"I can't let you do this."

Jack opens his mouth to respond but nothing comes out as he feels himself slowly losing control of his body, he tries to fight Anti back, telling him that he can reason with Mark, but Anti takes control, and his now mismatched eyes narrowed into a glare.

"Listen here you overprotective douchebag."

Anti snarls, his tone of voice making Mark wince slightly and instinctively take a step back.

"I hate you as much as you hate me. Trust me I do. But at the moment I hate Dark even more than that.

Anti continues, the anger in his voice never receding, and only growing as he feels Jack try and take control again before things can spiral out of control.

"If we don't get rid of Dark, he won't hesitate to kill you, and take Sean. Trust me when Dark wants something, he won't stop until his gets it. And now... He wants Sean."

Anti finishes with a huff, letting his anger disperse. Jack had stopped pushing as hard as well, the thought of Dark 'taking' him, as Anti put it, made him cringe, and sent fear rattling through him.

Finally Anti lets Jack take control, his green eye fading to blue. Jack gulps quietly, he could still feel Anti's annoyance, and tried to keep it down, to keep his voice calm as he spoke next.

"Mark-"

The red haired man shakes his head, silently telling Jack to not continue. A few minutes of silence pass and finally Mark speaks again.

"Fine... What's the plan...?"

He finally speaks, voice much quieter, though the worry did not fade even slightly. Jack chews on his lip once again, thinking quietly on how he could word it so Mark wouldn't freak out. Soon however, he decides to just say it.

"Well... We're going to let Dark in my mind..."

As soon as those words leave the Irish man's mouth Mark's eyes widen once more. His mouth opens and closes as he doesn't know how to respond to that.

"According to Anti, if I let him in my head then he can help me get rid of him... It's complicated I know..."

"Complicated?! Well if that isn't understatement of the year."

Mark huffs angrily, running his hand through the mess of red on his head. Jack opens his mouth to speak but without warning Anti takes control once again, Jack lets him not feeling anymore anger from the darker part of himself.

"Mark, he can handle it. He won't get hurt."

Anti explains in a huff, crossing his slightly muscled arms over his chest, glaring at the man with a slight annoyance.

"Can you promise that?"

Mark questions, raising one of his eyebrows at the man. Anti sucks in a small breath, opening his mouth to respond, but for once he hesitated.

"I can't promise anything... But I'm sure it'll work."

Anti explains gently, strangely a bit of kindness entering his voice, making him almost sound like Jack if it weren't for his confident stature, and one unnaturally green eye.

"No, I can't let him do that... Let Dark back into my mind, I'll do it myself."

Mark demands simply, completely refusing to let Sean do this. Anti sighs and resists the urge to roll his eyes, uncrossing his arms and letting them drop to his sides.

"Mark... You're too weak... He'll take you over immediately."

The man growls simply, mismatched eyes boring into the red haired man, who looks almost offended at that statement.

"Look, physically you might be strong... but mentally, you're weak... Hell, if Dark hadn't let you get rid of him before you'd probably be long gone."

Anti explains, clearly beginning to lose his patience, evident by the bit of anger that continued to lace his voice.

"I'm not letting him do it. For all I know this is all a trick... This could all be so you and Dark can kill us."

Mark snarls in return, brown eyes narrowed. Anti's hands clench into fists at his side.

"You arrogant prick! I-"

Anti begins to yell loudly, stepping forward before his anger leaked away as suddenly as it started, and Jack quickly took control of the situation, frankly having difficulty keeping Anti back.

"Mark... This will work... I'll be fine, I promise."

Jack speaks softly, keeping his voice calm and encouraging despite the yelling that was echoing through his head. Mostly a string of insults directed at the red haired man.

"You can't be sure... What if I lose you... What if-"

"Mark..."

Jack speaks softly, interrupting the man's worries. The Irish man reaches forward grabbing the slightly taller man's hand softly, giving it a gentle squeeze as he stepped forward, their feet on the ground nearly touching.

"I'll be fine... Trust me... I'll never leave you, I promise."

The green haired man continues, slowly reaching his hand up to cup Mark's cheek lovingly.

"I love you, Mark."

With that Jack leans forward and Mark meets him halfway, their lips brushing gently, before meeting fully. Mark pulls the man closer, gently holding him as though letting go meant he'd never see him again. Which was what scared Mark the most.

Finally the two separate, and Jack nuzzles his head into the red haired man's firm chest, Mark's arms wrapped around him, refusing to let him go. The Irish man of course only spoke of the positive side, but inside he was as worried as Mark.

There was always the possibility that he wouldn't make it. That he'd die, and leave Mark alone. The thought of Mark mourning him made tears brim the Irish man's blue eyes.

Jack pulls away, still holding onto his hand, and wipes his eyes with his free arm, refusing to let any tears fall, forcing on a small reassuring smile.

Not even a full minute later the front door can be heard opening downstairs, Mark's hand tightens around Jack's protectively as Anti slowly takes over, simply letting Mark continue to hold the hand, not that his death grip would let Anti pull it away anyhow.

"Show time..."
