"Daddy! No!"
I glare at Aiden until he pouts and sits down in his child seat. "I don't give a fuck you don't want to go to school. I say you're going, then you're fucking going."
Camilla, next to Aiden, gasps audibly. Clenching my jaw, I look at her. She's already safe in her harnas, done for school. Her hands are curled into fists and she's glaring at me.
"No cursing! I'll tell mommy!" she shouts, shifting in her seat. I bite my tongue.
Fucking snitch.
"No you won't," I tell her. "Because I'll steal your dolls if you do. Do we have a deal?"
She gasps again, seeming horrified. I smirk. I've got her. That is, until— "If you take her dolls, you'll lose a hand," Dominic grits out behind me.
I finish clicking Aiden in his seat and close the door of the backseat. He's scowling at me, the backpacks of the kids in his hand. "You hear me? Touch her dolls and you won't get to touch them again. Ever."
Ash rolls his eyes and joins our babies on the backseat. I exhale deeply, not escaping Dominic. "You did eat Aiden's donut yesterday."
He frowns. His eyes widen after. "Oh fuck, that was his? Shit."
I decide to not waste another minute on anyone else's shit. I'm extremely irritated today.
"Fuck off," I grumble and get in the driver's seat. Dominic joins in the passengers, which annoys me even more. My whole fucking car is full of people. We have hundreds of cars, but nope. Suddenly everyone has to go along with me.
"Mommy won't be happy with you, daddy," Aiden shouts. Dominic and Asher chuckle, knowing Daisy's serious about not cursing around the kids.
Hell. Who fucking cares.
"No! Mommy will stop all kisses!" Camilla adds. My hands tighten around the steering wheel. Fucking hell.
Don't get me wrong. I love those two little bastards. They just get a lot sometimes, especially when they start threatening with telling Daisy stuff. Like right now. I am the only one who didn't get a goodbye kiss or hug and she didn't tell me she loves me. Thanks to these two, I won't get that for another fucking day.
"If you stay silent to mommy, I'll . . ." I hesitate. I've blackmailed them almost every time I had to bring them to school, so I'm running out of ideas.
"If not, daddy will cry," Asher whispers not so silently. I turn in my seat and glare daggers at him.
He's not wrong. He just doesn't have to call me out on stuff.
Dominic nudges me. "Get started, they're late already. And you know how strict Daisy—" "I'm going, I'm going! Jesus."
I start the car and drive away, slightly relaxing as I hear the kids chatting about how excited they are to go to school. They might be little snitches, but they're cute enough to get away with it.
"And miss Adams said I can work with Sebastian today!" Aiden giggles. Camilla joins him. "He's funny! He always trips over his feet," she laughs.
I glance at Dominic, who is smirking in amusement. "Isn't it mean you're laughing at him?" Asher asks. Camilla shushes him.
"Shush papa! Sebastian is okay! He cries only a little bit." She explains it with her fingers, her thumb and index finger a little from each other.
I frown at Dominic now. He is frowning too. Oh my fucking god. Are our kids bullies?
"I don't want you to be laughing at someone who's falling," I tell them. Sighs erupt, but I don't listen. "Camilla, you wouldn't like it if someone told you your skirt isn't pretty and everyone else would be laughing, right?"
Her eyes go wide. She shakes her head, lip wobbling. I shift my eye-contact to Aiden in the mirror. He looks bored.
"Aiden. If Camilla was eating your lunch and everyone was laughing at you crying, would you like that?" He grumbles, but shakes his head.
God. This kid is gonna get us in trouble, I can tell already.
I pull up the parking of the school. David and Ivan are talking to the teacher of our kids. Their son Marco is in the same class as Camilla and Aiden, which comes in handy when they visit Daisy.
Dominic and Asher each take a child while I grab the backpacks and follow them at a distance. I'm still not happy with Daisy, but I'll get her to say it at the coffee shop. I'll spank the words out of her if I need to.
Not that I would mind.
"Hey Camilla! Such a pretty dress!" miss Adams smiles as we pass her. Aiden frowns and stands still, having Asher almost tripping over him. He scowls at his teacher, having Ivan and David glance nervously at each other.
"It's not fair only Camilla get compliments. That's discimation," he tells her, arms crossed over his chest. I glance at Dominic and Camilla playing on the playground and sigh. Why does he get the innocent kid?
I absolutely adore Aiden. He's sassy and lovable, but too smart for his own good. He tries to be smarter than anyone else and forces me to read whole encyclopedias as a nighttime story.
"Eh, boy, it's discrimination," I whisper in his ear. He nods but doesn't budge, eyes narrowed at miss Adams. "Well of course, Aiden," she smiles.
"I like your hair today. Did your mom do something nice with it today?" she asks. Aiden scoffs and looks at the other side, now intentionally ignoring her. "You're only asking because I said so. Try again tomorrow."
I give her a small smile before walk through the gate and sitting down on a bench. Aiden plops down next to me. Ash goes off and joins Dom and Camilla on the swings.
"So, little man, what are we gonna do?" I ask him. He shrugs. I point at David, who's holding Marco. "Why don't you play with Marco? He's fun, right?"
Aiden wrinkles his nose. "No. Camilla likes him, so I play with them when he's at our house. But he's stupid at school. He doesn't know how much four times four is!"
I frown. "That's because he hasn't learned about it yet. You should only study it in two years."
He shrugs, not caring. I sigh. "So, what? You don't like anyone at this school? Not even Camilla? we can join her, dada and papa on the swings?"
Daisy insisted on having different names for the kids. I'm daddy, Dominic's dada and Asher's papa. Don't even ask.
"No. Swings suck."
Sometime I can strangle this boy. "So what do you want to do then?"
I look at his face just when it lights up. "Sebastian's there! Look!" He points at the gate. I follow his motioning to a boy who looks like he's been through hell this morning only.
His jeans are damaged really bad, just like the other clothes he's wearing. His backpack has holes in it, revealing the insides of it. One book. No lunch box, no snack.
He's holding on to a rough hand of a man. A man who looks at the boy with so much hatred I'm surprised the kid is still alive.
I know him. He's worked for our uncle until he stole money, and now he's one of the lowest burglars out there. He's killed several people, and it's only a matter of time until he gets caught.
I just hope the kid sin't his next victim.
Instead of joining his son on the playground, the man immediately leaves. Miss Adams doesn't even say anything on it. I focus on the boy running to Aiden, and my own son grinning back at him.
I find myself smiling at the occurrence. Seb jumps next to Aiden on the bench. He stops mid-sentence, noticing me. His eyes go round. "Wha—is he your brother?"
Aiden shakes his head. "He's my dad. And those two too." He points at Dominic and Asher, who are now getting attacked by five girls each. I chuckle at the sight.
Sebastian frowns. "But . . . Why is he smiling at you? Why is he here? My dad always leaves." I see him looking back at the gate, where no one is anymore.
I can tell he's getting confused. Ah fuck, I'm not good with other kids. Hell, I'm not even good with my own kids.
"Hey, Sebastian," I softly address him. He snaps out of his questioning state and blushes, looking at me. "H-hello, sir. I-I think I am Aiden's friend. S-sorry."
I frown. "Why would you say sorry, boy? I'm happy Aiden has a friend like you." Seb glances between Aiden and me. "Y-you're not gonna slap me? Or Aiden? But— Huh?"
Fucking hell. This poor boy really doesn't have the best home situation.
I calm him with a smile. "Of course not. Hey, do you want to sleep over at Aiden's house tonight? We can have hot chocolate milk if you want."
Aiden grins, nodding. Seb seems to doubt, but nods. I smile and stand up. "I'll leave you two alone. Be good today, yeah?" I warn Aiden. He rolls his eyes, but nods.
I walk over to their teacher. We all are aware she looks at me like she wants to devour me, even Daisy. It makes me uncomfortable, but I push past it. She hasn't tried anything yet, and I'm hoping it stays that way.
"I'm worried about Sebastian. He doesn't have a lunch box with him and his clothes are obviously too small for him. When I was talking to him, he thought I was gonna hit him. Why isn't he taken away from his dad yet?"
She sighs. "I've tried talking to him and the principal, but no one believes me. So I'm just trying to let Seb have a good day at school. I have lunch ready for him, I take it with me every day."
I nod. That's good, at least. "Do you have his dad's number? Seb's staying with us tonight."
She gives me his umber and in case he doesn't answer, his address. While Dominic and Asher get in the car, I can't suppress a smirk.
I dare the man to touch his son again. If I see Seb with as much as a bruise, I'm contacting the police and the FBI.
