Important Vote!
Hello everyone! This story is going to be coming to a close soon, so will A Supernatural Case once I finish writing season 4 for that. I usually post new stories once I finish my last ones, and I've realized I don't give you guys a say in what story I post. So, to change that, I'm letting you guys choose the next two X Readers I post!
I have quite a few options and I will list both them, and a little snippet from the story. Simply comment on the two you want and the two with the most votes will be the next two published, most likely sometime in early to mid December. You can vote twice on two different stories.
The voting will end November 22th!
Anyways, onto the stories!
Smarts// Pidge Gunderson x Reader
Pidge sat down on (Y/n)'s bed next to her, the girl's small form bouncing a bit on the material. (Y/n) looked up from her monitor, smiling.
"Do you ever miss Altea?" Pidge asked.
"All the time. I would give anything to see again. I only had sixteen years there before I was frozen. Even then, the three after I became a Paladin were full of traveling and defending the universe with the original Paladins so I don't know if they would count."
"Was it weird? There were planet leaders on the team and you were only thirteen."
"It was when I first started, but they became like my family, and that- Wait, Pidge, I have eyes on them in the elevator!"
"Awesome," Pidge jumped closer to (Y/n), watching the screen in front of her excitedly, "They should just get together already."
"Yes, on Altea, they already would be," (Y/n) said blandly.
"What do you mean?"
"They're showing their shoulders to each other. Alteans have markings across their entire bodies much like the ones on their faces. You would only show the markings elsewhere to the person you were meant to be with."
Pidge looked at (Y/n)'s shoulders. She had taken her customary silver jacket off when Pidge had arrived. Her white shirt revealed the markings on her shoulders and back. Pidge looked back at the screen, her eyes wide and her cheeks red.
"That's...Interesting."
Counting Stars// Keith Kogane x Reader
"You're just an emo dropout who can't handle a sword!" (Y/n) grunted, rolling away from an attack from the Gladiator. The trashtalk was all in good fun she knew, something to throw the other off. They were too close of friends to truly mean anything they said.
"You're a pity case who happened to be with the others when Shiro's ship landed," Keith's sword was hit from his hands, his body hitting the ground.
"Well you," (Y/n) stabbed the Gladiator through the middle, kicking him to the side. She was right over Keith as she held out her hand, "Just lost to a pity case."
Keith's hand fit into hers as she pulled him up, underestimating her strength and pulling him far closer than she meant to.
Keith smirked, pulling a knife from his boot and throwing it behind her. She heard the tell tale noise of the Gladiator powering down, "Did I?"
Alien// Steve Rogers x Reader
They made it to DC in five hours instead of eleven. She went to the gym Steve was known to be at, and would most likely be. She went inside in casual clothing, as her usual, human looking, self.
When she approached him he punched the punching bag off of its chain. It hit the wall and fell to the floor, spilling out sand.
"Men go to war in search of something Mr. Rogers, did you ever find it?" (Y/n) asked, drawing his attention to me.
"I lost more than I found," he said openly, putting another punching bag on the hook and beginning to punch it.
"It's a new world Mr. Rogers, you should be out, celebrating, seeing the world."
"When I went under the world was at war, I woke up they said we won. They didn't say what we lost."
"We've made some mistakes Mr. Rogers, some more recently than others," (Y/n) handed him the file containing the information.
"Who are you," Steve asked, not opening the file.
"(Y/n) Altovar," (Y/n) held out her hand for him to shake, "Level seven S.H.I.E.L.D agent. They sent me here to retrieve you."
"Seeing me on a mission, putting me back in the world," Steve chuckled.
"Trying to save it, actually."(Y/n)I motioned towards the still unopened file in his hand. "Howard Stark took that out of the ocean when they saved you. He thought that the Tesseract could be the key to unlimited sustainable energy."
"And you don't?"
"Speaking from experience, something not of this world shouldn't be treated like a science experiment."
"Who took it from you?" Steve asked, handing back the file.
"Loki, of Asgard. There's a lot you'll need to be brought up to speed on Mr. Rogers. The world has gotten a lot stranger."
"I doubt anything would surprise me."
"Ten bucks says you're wrong," (Y/n) bet with a smile, "There's a debriefing packet back at your apartment."
"S.H.I.E.L.D should have left it in the ocean. And Steve is fine." Was all Steve said before picking up a punching bag, and his gym bag, and leaving.
"He's so in," (Y/n) nodded in approval.
Mutant and Proud//Peter Parker x Reader
Loud laughing caught (Y/n)'s attention. She stopped, and looked up, Ant-Man was not the size of an ant, he was the size of a building.
"Holy shit," she whispered, she had seen some crazy mutations, but this guy wasn't even a mutant.
(Y/n)'s eyes glanced up at the sky, seeing Iron Man bee-lining for Captain America and Bucky.
She swung up her hands, the water wrapping around Iron Man. She brought it down quickly, dragging him to the ground.
"Look kid," Tony sighed, "You aren't a criminal, you weren't asked to sign the accords. But you're in the wrong."
(Y/n) clenched her fist, freezing the water around Tony, "You were one of my heroes Mr. Stark, I hope we can meet again."
(Y/n)'s head turned she saw Wanda falling to the ground, Steve and Bucky making it past a large structure that was meant to stop them.
"They made it," (Y/n) whispered, she pressed the signal on her belt that Kurt was meant to be watching for so he could pick her up.
"Mr Stark, I can fight! Mr. Stark! No, no I'm down."
(Y/n) chuckled, walking to Spider-Man, her nerves calm. Iron Man was right when he said they couldn't charge her for anything. They didn't know who she was - though she knew it would be easy for Tony Stark to find out if Captain America did.
"Hold still," she ordered the teen, leaning down in front of him.
"Very uncool fighting someone who's hurt," the kid groaned.
"I'm not fighting with you," (Y/n) swung her hands around her, gathering water from the air, she put it over the young boy's ribs, "One broken. Good job handling the pain."
The water began to glow blue, as (Y/n) healed Peter.
"Is the blue dye or..."
"Everyone asks. It's permanent. Part of the mutation."
"You fought the Avengers?" Kurt asked in a panic, appearing.
"I fought for Captain America," (Y/n) stood up, "You know the address. Bug boy, don't break another rib alright?
Spider-Man nodded slowly as (Y/n) disappeared.
"She was so awesome," he whispered.
Gods and Monsters// Loki Laufeyson x Reader
"(Y/n)."
(Y/n)'s surroundings changed. She was in the Asgard throne room, Loki in front of her.
"(Y/n) you must leave Thor, so that you may come home." Loki begged.
"I can not leave Thor. He must return home. Odin must allow him to return home."
"Father has fallen into Odinsleep." Loki explained, "I am king now."
"Then you can send us back!" (Y/n) said excitedly.
"My first act can't be to repeal the last," Loki argued, "You were not part of that act. (Y/n), please, come home. Come home so you may become my queen."
"I can't leave your brother."
"He's not my brother. Odin lied, he lied from our childhood." Loki's skin turned to a light blue, his eyes a dark red, "I am of Jotunheim. A monster."
"You are no monster Loki," (Y/n) placed her hand on Loki's cheek, her skin burning, but no damage being done, "You, are who you choose to be. Please, send us home soon."
(Y/n) kissed Loki's cold lips as her form began to disappear, "I love you."
Extraterrestrial//Jim Kirk x Reader
"Everything's ready captain," (Y/n) grinned.
"Permission to come aboard Captain?" Spock stood by the entrance of the bridge, "You have yet to select a first officer."
"Actually (Y/n)-"
"Has been chosen as second officer," (Y/n) interrupted, glaring at Jim, "Jim thought I caused too much trouble to be the first officer."
"It would be my honor Spock. Take us out."
"Aye-Aye Captain."
~*~
"You know, the future ship didn't say (Y/n) Kirk on accident."
(Y/n) jumped, nearly dropping the uniform dress she was going to hang up. She turned around, meeting the eyes of a smirking Jim Kirk.
"Oh really?" She laughed, "So I married you in the future? Unlikely."
"Tell that to the future you," Jim shot back, "Want to see if it can actually happen? I found a bar room."
(Y/n) laughed again, hanging up the dress.
"You have a history with woman Kirk, you're going to have to try harder than that."
Angelic//Dean Winchester x Reader
"The angels were God's first creations, his first perfect creations. But (Y/n), she was created differently than the other angels."
"Differently?"
"God created (Y/n) as the first angel, the most perfect of all of them. No necessarily the most powerful, although the angels have never seen the full extent of her grace as she knew how power could corrupt those unable to handle it. (Y/n) helped create the other angels, helped create earth and assist in evolution. Her interests were always for those below her, to protect God's creations."
"Why was she sent down to Earth to be raised with us then?"
"No angel but (Y/n) knows why she was given the mission. The other angels brought it down to favoritism. I believe it was because of her interests, protecting people, what you have done your entire lives. Her wings are purple, which may also have had an affect on his choice."
"What would her wings have to do with anything? All angels have wings."
"In the bible, and around Earth, purple is a color of power, of royalty. (Y/n) is powerful, as all angels are. (Y/n) is the only angel with purple wings. The color purple on Earth came from her wings. The meaning of it on Earth came from her character.
"Whether or not (Y/n) is the most powerful angel, or if she can solve every world problem, is only known by God and herself. But I've known (Y/n) since my creation. She calls herself as other angels equals, as humans equal. Her power is something she limits. Perhaps she doesn't even know the extent of it."
"Thanks for the biography Cas," (Y/n) said from the doorway of the room, "How right you are. I'm just like any other angel, and that's how I'll use my grace, like my family."
Mortality//Steve Rogers x Reader
(Y/n) looked at herself in the mirror, smiling as memories ran through her mind. She was to meet Peggy at the local bar where Steve and the other soldiers were in approximately five minutes. But with the bar being a very near walk from her hotel, she found no harm in looking over herself one more time.
Her dress was from the 1930s, a blue number that went to her ankles. She had bought it on a trip with Amelia, blue was her favorite color. Amelia would still be alive, living on the island with the other woman. Strange, to think about something like that.
(Y/n) grabbed her clutch bag and left her room, walking down the short flight of stairs in the hotel to the street. She walked around five buildings down and crossed to the bar. Peggy was waiting just inside for her in a lovely red dress that went to her knees.
They entered the bar together, nearly all of the noise silencing as they walked through to where Steve was spotted speaking with Bucky.
"Captain," (Y/n) greeted with a smile with Steve's eyes landed on her.
"Agent Carter, Agent Carstairs."
"Howard has some equipment for you to try. Tomorrow morning." Peggy reported.
"I see out squad is getting ready for duty," (Y/n) chuckled, glad their team was the men she met in the tank.
"You don't like music?" Bucky asked.
"I love music," (Y/n) answered, "In fact, when this is over, I'm thinking of going dancing."
"Why not now?"
"I've been waiting for the right partner longer than you might think."
"0-eight hundred," Peggy reminded, gently grabbing (Y/n)'s arm and leading them away from the pair.
"You were drooling," Peggy scolded, "We're working to show we're men's equals."
"That doesn't mean we can't find men attractive Peggy," (Y/n) argued, "Look what we've accomplished! Besides, I can't, I've been alive for nearly three hundred years, loving people is out of the question."
Peggy was the only one (Y/n) had told her full past to so far, she was still holding off on Steve, afraid of his reaction.
"Or maybe, loving people is what you need."
