I remember it like it was yesterday.

Chara and I were together, as usual.  It was the day they were about to attempt to do their "plan," but they backed out before it was too late.

It was that night I did the unthinkable.  I decided I'd tell them the truth. 

".. Chara?"

They looked over at me.  "Yeah?"

"There's...something I need to warn you about... ...I never really told you how I died..."

"Yeah...and I'm still curious about how."

"Well...as you know, I didn't have any friends when I was little..."

They nodded as I continued.

"...so one night, I was walking in Hotlands, my home, all on my own...when all of a sudden, things went dark.  Way darker than usual, especially for Hotlands... ...then, I saw two glowing eyes and a huge white smile peering at me.  I backed away nervously, trembling from fear.  Then... THEY leaped at me.  They were huge, and black as night, with huge claws and sharp teeth, and a mouth in their chest, a-and...and..."

The thought of it made them shiver.

"... ... I felt them tear off part of my arm and leg."  I held my skeletal arm.  "Then there was pain in my neck, and everything turned to nothing."

They shivered again.  "Yikes...I'm so sorry..."

I looked down.  "...but there's a reason I told you this."

They looked at me, confused.

"...they're coming back." I said quietly.

"WHAT!?" they shrieked, startled.

"They're coming back.  Tonight.  I can feel it."

They shook slightly.  "WHY!?  What are they after?"

"I really don't wanna say..."

"It's clearly important, so I need to know!"

I took a deep breath before gaining the courage to tell them.

"... they're after you."
