His chest was screaming and his lungs gasping for air, his head felt like it was going to explode at any moment and he was pretty sure the burn his enemy gave him was going to stay with him until death, a constant reminder of that horrible night of October 16th.

The land of Luminaria was known for its sheer beauty and the peacefulness of the town, however, these attributes were nowhere to be found now.

The town's vegetation transformed into ashes after being consumed by none other than the First Butterfly's ardent flames, its beautiful buildings reduced to ruins, witnesses of the chaos opposing the children of the Heavens, and the descendants of the Abyss.

The majority of the citizens have been evacuated to Aeternitas but the thought wasn't able to chase the screams of pain of the people victims of the assault from his mind, their lifeless bodies were carelessly thrown into the ravaged land doing little to relax him.

But all of the surrounding chaos and the concerning state of his body was not his main focus at the moment.

With eyes as wide as asteroids, he stared at the girl tainted with crimson with his mouth agape.

"No..." He weakly murmured, all colors draining from his face as he was unable to recognize the girl he spent so long with, thinking that he knew her. His strength disappeared, leaving him falling onward as the darkness swallowed him whole.

The last thing his mind processed before completely falling into the darkness was a sentence.
