One Week After Elara's Return to Naboo...
Colour drained from her face as quickly as everything seemed to happen. She was completely rigid, frozen and clammy while cold sweat dripped down her pale face. She was shaking, stumbling, unable to speak, wide eyed, edging backwards, hands clenched, white knuckles. Then came the vomit, the faint feeling and the adrenaline rush. She began to run, her heart in her throat, she was incapacitated with fear.
She fell against the first thing she ran into and slumped down against it. It had been a week since Elara first came back to Naboo and she thought everything was going really good. She was working for Amar and saw her parents everyday. First Order troops hadn't dared to check the Nabooian system, Kylo Ren knew Queen Pandora and didn't want to bring any harm or commotion to the peaceful planet...yet.
The nightmares started up once Elara couldn't resist the call to sleep and fell into a scarring dream. They were always the same, paralyzed, naked and cold. The masked man would come closer with his lightsaber, making sweeping movements to a music only he could hear. He would be closer, than further away and then closer again. In the blink of an eye, the masked man would turn to dust and the bodies of victims from the fall of the Jedi would lay, scattered out everywhere and bloodied. The voices in her head would remind her that she could've saved them but she didn't.
Painfully reminiscing about the past events, Elara delivered a shattering scream. "Get out of my head!"
Then came the same voice, telling her that it was all her fault and she thought she'd go insane. Kylo would also try and reach out into her mind and sometimes he would succeed. Although, he never said anything about the large amount of suffering she was going through, he still stayed.
"Elara." At first, she thought it was just the wind but she definitely heard her name.
Stumbling up into a standing position, she wiped her eyes and went to grab her lightsaber.
"No need for that young one." In the foggy mist of gungan territory, came the ghost of an old Jedi Master.
Elara squinted her eyes, almost sure she had gone insane. "Obi-Wan Kenobi?"
In his younger form, Obi-Wan nodded and sat on a perched rock. "No one has mentioned that name in a very long time."
"Because you went by-" Elara stopped herself mid sentence, not wanting to say the bitter name.
"You know the stories young one." He nodded, his voice peaceful and relaxing. "Luke told you, correct?"
"When I was a youngling, he told me about everything you did before the rise of Darth Vader." She explained. "Before you know, he killed you."
"Want to know one thing I did?" He questioned.
Elara shrugged, interested to hear a legend speak.
"I forgave my padawan."
Her eyes widened and she bit her lip. "Is this supposed to be a lesson Master Kenobi? Are you trying to get me to put away my hate and anger towards Kylo Ren?" That name didn't feel right.
"You are too quick for your time." Obi-Wan delivered a quick chuckle. "That is exactly what I'm saying."
"Why?"
"Look at your lightsaber Elara." Obi-Wan pointed. "It represents both the light side and the dark side. With all this anger and hate, I fear you could be drawn to the dark side just like young Ben Solo."
"Why would I be drawn to something I hate so much?"
"The force works in mysterious ways. Anakin Skywalker devoted his life to slaying the sith but he soon became blinded and became the very thing he vowed to destroy." Obi-Wan reminded her.
"Darth Vader was saved by Luke, the only person who believed he still was good." Elara babbled. "Forgive me Master Kenobi, but do you still believe Kylo Ren has good in him after killing hundreds of innocents?"
"I do." Obi-Wan replied, standing up from the rock and looking directly away from her. "You are the fourth Jedi left alive, don't make the same mistake Ben Solo did. Stay with the light side."
"I wasn't planning on leaving." Elara said, looking down at her lightsaber.
"There isn't just anger growing inside of you." Obi-Wan hinted carefully. "I only want what's best."
Confused, Elara went to stand in front of him. "Are Luke, Rey and Kali safe?"
Obi-Wan shifted his gaze to her. "Yes."
Elara turned to look at the dying sunset. "Master, do you think Kylo Ren could be converted to the light side once more?"
There was no reply, Obi-Wan was gone. Elara thought it was figment of her imagination and she had truly gone insane but she knew better, she had spoken to a legend. A small sigh escaped her lips and she looked at her white knuckles, rubbing the dirt off of them. If Kylo Ren still had light in him, she wasn't the one to bring it out again. Why would she save someone she hated?

9 Months After Elara's Return To Naboo...
Wrapped in a silk and feathered robe, Elara sat in the kitchen while staring both amused and disdained at her newborns. Both twins had extremely dark eyes just like her, the only difference was the large splatters of freckles across theirs noses and cheeks. It had been little over twenty-four hours since they had made their entrance into the soft and warm glow of Amar's shack, Elara couldn't be more ecstatic, relieved and terrified.
"Have you thought of a name yet figlia?" Gail questioned. "This is always the hardest part if you ask me."
"No, I think the worst part is something else." Elara snorted but her voice was quiet and careful. "Jude."
"Any specific meaning behind it?" Gail muttered, admiring the sleeping twins.
"The praised." Elara uttered out, looking lovingly at the two. "Originally, I had planned for Sawyer but I have decided otherwise. I'm now going with Bellamy, the fair."
"That's beautiful El." Gail kissed her daughter's head. "It seems that twins run in the family."
"Mother!" Elara seethed through her teeth. "Don't."
"Right." Gail apologized. "I'm sorry, I forgot. These two just bring so much peace, I forgot what was happening outside."
Elara breathed. "I'm sorry for snapping at you."
"It's alright my dear, it was my fault for bringing it up." Gail went back to the kitchen stove. "How about some tea?"
"Tea sounds lovely."
After a short while, Elara looked up at her mother sadly. "Have you heard anything about or from Kal? Does she even know of my return, of his fall to the Dark Side, of your homely home on Naboo?"
Gail shook her head. "I'm afraid that I've tried to resist thinking about her Elara." Gail handed her a cup of bonx tea. "She is still my daughter and if she returns home, I will be overjoyed but as of now, I have chosen to forget her like you have Ben Solo."
When Elara found out, she went into complete lockdown mode but yet, somehow she knew, as if someone had told her before she figured it out for herself.
She was only twenty-five, barely at twenty-six. What scared her the most is that now, no matter how hard she tried to get rid of any memory of him, she would be reminded every day.
Not to say she wouldn't love them, of course she would but Elara was also extremely traumatized. Her life had been completely flipped upside down. She was going to be one of the greatest female Jedi Knight's to go down in history but now, she's hiding from the truth with nothing but a lightsaber and two blessings to remind her of who she really is.

3 Years After Elara's Return To Naboo...
There is a part of growing up that is genuine and a part that disguises the greatest pain we can ever know. Small children can't see suffering without suffering also, because of this, Elara wore a mask. When the pain would come and go, Elara would shield it from Bellamy and Jude's eyes so they wouldn't know suffering at a young age. When story time rolled around in the evening, Elara would tell Bellamy and Jude the great adventures the Jedi had, choking up here and there.
As she sat, in the tall grass of Amar's acreage by the flowing river, she watched Jude and Bellamy toddle over each other while trying to catch the flying insects. Summer crept across the housing estate igniting the weeds and grasses that grew in the cracked pavement. The scene was breathtaking.
"Mama! Mama!" Bellamy cried out. "Bug! Bug!"
"Did you catch one?" Elara sat up, outstretching her arms so Bellamy could walk towards her.
Bellamy nodded eagerly, her hands cupped together so the bug wouldn't escape. "Bug!"
When her hands let the bug free, a beautiful winged insect began to fly away. Bellamy pointed proudly at it while Elara watched it fly away freely.
Jude crossed his arms and sat down, defeated and angry he couldn't catch a bug. His vocabulary was small so all he could do was pout. Elara sat up to comfort him, bringing Bellamy along with her. She pulled Jude onto her lap and pointed at the busy bugs above them. "You see them?"
Jude nodded. "I can't catch it."
"They don't want to be caught Jude." Elara explained. "They are meant to be in the sky."
"Oh." Is all he said, understanding the concept.
Bellamy pushed herself up, sitting beside her brother. "I caught one."
"And then you let it go, which is good." Elara nodded, tucking her hair behind her ear so the blowing wind wouldn't make her hair messy.
"Look at the ship!" Jude pointed out, wind making his dark locks fly in all directions.
"The ship?" Elara looked up, daring to find out what it was. "Crap."
Elara stood up hurriedly, bracing herself for the heaviness both twins would deliver. She hauled Bellamy onto her back and carried Jude against her chest. She began to run towards the nearby barn, away from the First Order ship. Opening the rusted door, she locked it quickly and began to climb to the second floor. Each animal didn't mind her presence but the questioning children made it hard for the animals to quiet down.
"Don't talk." Elara whispered. "Let's play the quiet game."
Bellamy bit her lips together, indicating she wasn't going to speak while Jude put a hand over his mouth. Sighing, Elara went to look outside the barn window, sneaking past it to catch a look. About a dozen stormtroopers emerged from the First Order ship and began walking towards the barn.
"I'll be right back, don't move and don't talk." Elara began to fret, not wanting to leave her children alone. She climbed down to the first floor and pulled out her lightsaber, carefully pressing herself against the door.
The staticky voices grew closer and closer until one finally said. "Check inside the barn!"
Grabbing a pitchfork, one of Amar's (horribly smelling) straw hats and smearing dirt on her cheeks, Elara answered the knock at the door.
A stormtrooper, much taller than she was, stood in the doorway. "The First Order is looking for this girl." He handed her a drawing of herself. "Have you seen her?"
Keeping her head down, she shook her head. "Can't say I have recently."
"Recently?"
"Stole a ship of mine, said she was heading to the outer rim." Elara tried to make her voice sound deeper. "When you catch her, try and get my ship back."
Suspiciously, the stormtrooper went to take off her hat but Elara stopped him by putting her hand up. "I am not the person you are looking for."
The stormtrooper straightened. "You are not the person we are looking for."
"You will go to the outer rim and search for her there."
"We will go to the outer rim and search for her there." The stormtrooper looked back at his squad. "She's in the outer room territory! Send a message to Lord Ren immediately."
Elara smirked slightly and closed the door behind him. One thing was for sure and it wasn't that she was now being looked for, it was that she still had it.
