"Your focus determines your reality."

"You ponder." Ben whispered against Elara's ear. "Your mind is messy, I can feel it."
Elara jumped slightly in her chair, unaware that Ben was standing behind her as she flew the Interfectorem. "It's no different from the last time you checked."
Ben smirked slightly. "Last time I checked, you told me stop."
"Last time you were on Bespin helping your Uncle Lando." Her eyes stayed glued on the forestry before her. "While I was on Hoth, meditating the rebellion history and you kept interfering."
"Funny." He laughed. "Because I recall seeing nothing about the history of the rebellion, just me and you on Aquaris-"
"Ben."
"Nothing about the rebellion history were in your thoughts Elara."
"What are you trying to get at Solo?" She turned her head to face him, her cheeks a rosy red.
"Your thoughts are always of me." He grinned cockily. "Care to explain?"
Her mind wandered to the time the two went to the tropical planet Aquaris. General Leia Organa's committee of fighter pilots mysteriously went missing so Luke sent Elara and Ben to the planet to investigate. The man-made atmosphere had a magnetic tractor beam that stopped ships from leaving which Elara and Ben managed to destroy. During this time, Ben was wounded from a sting of an adonis plant and began hallucinating and saying everything that came to his mind, including how good Elara looked no matter what she was doing.
"Would you leave me alone?" She squeaked, covering her hands with her face.
"I would but you'd miss me too much."
"I always end up missing you." She stated. "Every time."
Ben's smirk faded into a gentle smile. "I know."
Elara turned her attention back to the exterior in front of her. The green forest had slowly began to turn into a musky bog. She scanned the area for a landing spot and found one near a dying tree. Elara flicked a few switches and the engines came to a dead stop. "We've arrived."
Luke peered out from the passengers units. "Remember, we come in peace." He turned to Dez and Vega. "Stay with the ship."
"But Master-" Dez complained.
"You've had plenty of action for one day Dez." Luke put his hand up to silence him.
"How come Elara gets to go?" He wined, causing Luke to hold back a glare.
"Because we are rescuing her parents, not yours laser brains." Vega scoffed.
Ben groaned. "Can we get this over with please, we have waited long enough."
"I agree with Ben." Elara spoke up.
Luke nodded as Palace walked over to the shuttle door. "See you soon if we don't get chopped up into tiny pieces by this lunatic."
"I want your podracer if you die." Dez called at Elara.
"I'm purposely not ever going to die so you will never get my precious podracer." Elara sent Dez a wink before the doors closed behind the four.
Palace, Luke, Ben and Elara began to trudge through the gungan territory, searching for Amar Gemini. Each had their own idea of what they were looking for: a separatist spy, a droid...
"I think that's it." Ben muttered, pointing at the shack in the middle of the swamp.
Elara bit her lip and looked at Ben, calming herself at his relaxed expression.
"Let's get this over with." Palace began to walk towards the shack.
"Stop." Luke commanded. "I sense a trap."
"I do too." Ben examined the house. "It's too quiet."
Elara shut her eyes and moved her hand towards a nearby stone. She picked it up without touching it and dropped it right in front of the door of the shack.
Ben watched. "I've got a bad feeling about this."
Click.
The Jedi were flung backwards by a massive explosion, toppling over each other and falling into the net of a trap.
"Brilliant idea Elara." Palace mumbled, desperately trying to shove Ben's foot away from her mouth.
"Shut up." Elara grumbled. "We could of exploded and died."
"In less than forty-eight hours, we could of been blown to bits twice." Ben commented. "Nice."
"Would you all just shut up?" Elara kicked her foot, jabbing Ben in the thigh.
"Who's hand is closest to my back?" Luke questioned.
"I think it's mine." Palace moved her hand around. "I think I can grab your lightsaber."
"Precisely my point." Luke tried to nod but was unable.
Palace aggressively moved her hand to her master's belt and grabbed hold of his green lightsaber and ignited it, slicing the net with a buzz and setting them free.
"Jedi." A dark and unpleasant voice squeaked from the sky.
"We mean you no harm." Luke took his lightsaber from Palace. "Are you Amar Gemini?"
"So you've heard of me?" The voice was now right behind Elara.
Invisible.
Ben grasped onto his saber, pulling Elara closer to him by instinct.
"I come for my parents, to know their safety is true." Elara spoke. "I demand to see them."
"Sabellius and Gail Jane." The voice soon came into a blurry vision before them."
"Geil Hutt told us they'd be here." Luke explained. "We've travelled a great extent to see them."
"The young Jedi wishes to see them." The blur became a physical form, a cyborg. "And so she shall."
Elara's shuddered slightly, looking into his mind. "Not for free though."
"It's like you've read my mind." Gemini said knowingly.
"What do you want?" She questioned.
"I want you." His face was split into two, half machine and half skin.
"Over my dead body." Ben drew his lightsaber.
"Not like that silly boy." Gemini hissed. "I want to see her mind."
"You have the force?" Luke asked, moving towards Ben to contain him if he tried anything.
"I have something." Gemini waved Elara over to inside the shack. "We will be quick."
Elara looked back at Ben, then to Luke. "I don't think this could go anymore wrong."
Luke pondered. "We shall see."

Elara entered the small shack, dust coating the unwelcoming surroundings like a layer of paint. Gemini pulled up two chairs in front of a table that looked like it had been burnt with fire.
"Let me see your palms." Gemini took a seat, waiting for her to join him.
"Pardon?" She raised a brow.
"You heard me." He impatiently said. "Let me see 'em."
Elara slowly reached over the table to show the palms of her hands. Gemini grabbed them with his metal hand and brought one to his face. "I knew I was right."
Curious, Elara questioned. "I don't understand?"
"Your palms can tell the future." Gemini studied Elara's hands carefully.
"What are you?"
"Sweetheart, I am your favourite dream and worst nightmare all in one." He grinned. "Intrare amicorum."
Elara recognized the language he spoke, it was her native language she spoke amongst her parents despite living on Tatooine.
Peering around the corner came Sabellius and Gail Jane, dressed in robes much like the one Elara wore.
"Mater? Pater?" Elara jumped out of her chair, longing to feel the embrace of her parents.
Sabellius, Elara's father gasped at his daughter's growing beauty. "Elara Jane."
Gail, Elara's mother began to walk towards Gemini and Elara, weeping louder and louder as she got closer. "Look at how big you've gotten."
"We thought we'd never see you again my precious figlia." Sabellius put a hand on his daughter's cheek.
A small and fragile expression cascaded over Elara's pale features. "Kalila?"
Gail shook her head, her lips forming into a thin line.
Elara nodded her head. "I felt a disturbance." Elara whispered, leaning into her father's hand. "I knew I had to find you."
"Amar Gemini bought us from Geil Hutt." Gail explained, tucking back her grey hairs. "We work for him figlia but not as slaves anymore, we are free."
Elara looked back at Gemini. "Is this true?"
"Every word of it." He stood up. "Palm readers see the future almost as well as Jedi do."
"We have visions, we don't know everything." Elara explained. "What did the future hold for my parents?"
"Geil Hutt was planning on murdering them young Jedi." Gemini walked towards the door, speaking once more before opening it to the awaiting Jedi outside. "The death of your parents would of been your first step to the dark side of the force."
Elara's eyes widened and she gripped her mother's hand. "I don't get it, you used to work for the empire."
Gemini shook his head. "We all make mistakes."
Ben was the first to walk in, his face heavy with worry but it soon became calm with relief when he saw Elara in her parents' arms. A warm sensation came over him as he searched her mind for anything sad but found nothing at all. Luke followed in while Palace stalked in slowly, cautious of her surroundings.
"A mad man, I may be." Gemini spoke to Luke. "But torturous and wicked, I am not."
Luke nodded. "Our own personal apologies Amar Gemini."
Elara who was completely and utterly confused, look up at Gemini. "What else did you see in the future?"
"Only time will tell." Gemini's robotic hand patted Elara on the back. "Come to me at the right time and you will know if the future is what I predicted."
"È che il vostro fidanzato?" Gail asked Elara, not letting go of her daughter.
Completely baffled by her mother's question, she shook her head. In the quietest voice she could make, Elara whispered. "No he is not my boyfriend!"
"I am amused that is the first thing you ask our daughter who we haven't seen in five years." Sabellius chuckled, turning to face Elara. "Are you in any great danger?"
"I'm always in danger pater." Elara laughed.
"Protecting the galaxy?" Gail questioned, looking up at Luke. "Is she doing a good job?"
"She's the best pilot out of the entire Jedi academy ma'am." Luke promised.
"What about you Ben Solo?" Sabellius turned to the black haired boy. "The last time I saw you, you and my daughter saved a malfunctioning ship of younglings."
Ben grinned with pride. "Nothing much has changed sir, I'm trying to keep up with your daughter."
"Stay ahead figlia." Sabellius winked.
Gemini cleared his throat, turning to Elara and Ben. "I hate to kill the mood but I want to warn you Jedi." He motioned for Palace and Luke to come closer. "Be wary of everything you do, dark times are coming."
