Background of Skotàdi and Fos
Pronounced Sko ta dee
Pronounced faws
Skotàdi and Fos were born from Hades/the Devil appearing to a pure woman, it was prophesized that she would give birth to a demon and an angel. She avoided every male she could until Hades/Lucifer turned himself into a wolf and forcibly mated with her.
Once Skotàdi and Fos were born their lives were nothing but hell. Being immortal supernatural beings they were immune to any damage from mortal weapons. Only their own family, other spirits, and supernatural weapons could harm either of them.
Their mother was very abusive towards them, Skotàdi being the elder was extremely protective of the innocent Fos. One day their mother attempted to kill Fos, Skotàdi stopped her by biting her wrist and crushing it easily. She was tried and convicted of bringing one of the most powerful demons to life.
So, she was burned alive. Then the locals searched for Skotàdi and Fos. One group took Skotàdi and the other took Fos where they attempted to burn Skotàdi alive and drown Fos. Instead the two used their supernatural abilities to save themselves.
Skotàdi was given influence over fire and Fos was given influence over water. Skotàdi was born able to control darkness and shadows as Fos was able to control light, despite their influence of dark and light they cannot manipulate human thought.
However they can communicate with humans through thought as well as a spoken language if they choose to. Out of fury for the attempted murder of his brother, Skotàdi went into a blind fury and slaughtered the humans responsible and burned their corpses.
The two appear every now and then in history by serving a human of their choosing. Skotàdi has served Stalin before leaving him once the power got to his head, Fos has served more peaceful humans such as Gandhi.
They select their human masters by looking into the human's mind and soul, if they approve then they allow said human to command them.
Skotàdi is known for saving humans from burning alive and Fos is known for saving humans from drowning. While Skotàdi is often seen as the embodiment of darkness, he's not purely evil. He doesn't hurt anyone or kill anyone for the sake of hurting or killing someone. He only harms or kills someone if he has to in order to protect Fos or his human master.
Fos is seen as the embodiment of light and is portrayed as a gentle being who can heal physical wounds by licking the wounds. Though he does have a secret dark side. If Skotàdi or his human master is harmed, Fos becomes enraged and kills the person responsible for the deed. Despite being the polar opposite of Skotàdi the two get along fairly well and are very protective over each other.
Skotàdi is a large black wolf like creature with crimson eyes, he has a scar over his eye from protecting Fos from their mother as well as red markings on his face and body. He is depicted as either being pure black or having crimson fur as well as black fur. He's often portrayed as cold, ruthless, cunning, aggressive, and vicious. He does have a secret soft side that he only shows to Fos and his human master or children. He has a deep and dark voice
Fos is a large pure white wolf like creature with deep ocean blue eyes. He doesn't have any scars as he avoids conflict when possible but can become quite vicious when in combat. He has blue markings on his face and body. He's often portrayed as kind, gentle, friendly, sympathetic, and warm. Despite his dark side which rarely reveals itself. He has a slightly deep voice.
The red marks and blue marks on Skotàdi and Fos fade when they want to appear to be normal wolves despite their demonic and angelic auras still being felt by humans and animals
Despite being a demon, Skotàdi is permitted to go with Fos to religious locations if he chooses to.
Skotàdi has also been known to swear while Fos tries to get him to stop swearing.
They are often confused with Sköll and Hati, two wolves from Norse mythology
