Part Three

She sat undisturbed in the blinding light of the bathroom (or refresher, but I'm lazy and don't want to fix it in the previous chapters), leaning against the cold metal shower. Ahsoka was sitting, leaning over the shower to try and let all the blood spill down the drain instead of having to clean it up later. The voices were almost back, she could feel it, but before she had time to grab her knife off the floor she heard Anakin open the front entrance door. Thinking fast she turned on the shower and let the water flush away any signs of blood. She carefully stripped herself down, trying not to get any blood on her clothes (even though they were damaged from the explosion, having only just gotten off the ship minutes ago)

She stepped in the shower. The cold water stung briefly against her open wounds, but the stinging turned into a dull ache, and she was able to ignore it long enough to wash all the grime from her body. It felt good to be clean again.

When she was satisfied that she was clean and her arm had stopped bleeding, Ahsoka shut off the cold water and grabbed her gray towel. When she was dry, her arm had stopped bleeding, and she was ready to get dressed, she suddenly realized her mistake. She hadn't gotten other clothes from her closet. She didn't plan on showering right then, and Anakin kind of messed up her plans, so she had a decision to make. Wear her disgusting clothes just to get clean clothes, rinse of again, and change, or risk walking outside with just a towel.

Unfortunately, she had to choose the towel.

"Master, are you out there?" She realized she didn't sense him anymore, which prompted a huge sigh of relief. Besides, it was only a few steps away from her room, and if she ran she could probably make it without the towel, but she wasn't risking it.

The bathroom door slid open, Ahsoka wrapped in a towel that barely covered everything that needed covering, and she was able to slip into her room in two seconds flat.

She was almost afraid of how smoothly that went, as the door shut behind her, no sign of Anakin in her room, or even in the dorm. She couldn't complain, she was deadly afraid she'd end up giving her master a show of more than he cared to see.

With the blinds shut, she dropped her towel and made for her closet. In it were just variants of the same outfit. If there was anything a Jedi was good at, it was simplicity. Now dressed, she was about to put her gloves on when she realized that they, among her (minorly, although still noticeable) blood stained clothes, and her knife were in the bathroom. Now was time to run before Anakin found things that he shouldn't. And with that thought, who else but Anakin should come right back into their dorm. Ahsoka sprinted into the bathroom before he noticed her, shut the door, and gathered her things in the gray towel she was carrying. Her knife went in between her leggings and her utility belt, where she was hoping it'd be safely hidden.

She still felt him here, although he seemed to be in his bedroom. She creeped out, hoping he wouldn't move from where he was, but he was on her tail the moment she was out of the bathroom, even if he didn't realize it.

"How are you Snips?" He asked her, cutting off the door to her bedroom.

"Oh, um, good. Just trying to clean off the grime that planet left on me." She chuckled. Anakin knew something was up. He didn't quite know what, but knowing how stubborn Ahsoka was, it had something to do with her now unbandaged arm.

"Ahsoka, do I have to walk you to the med bay? Why can't you just leave the bandage on?"

He's mad at you, you disobeyed again

He doesn't want you

Ya Ahsoka, why can't you just be normal for once, then maybe Anakin would want you

"No." She spoke to the voices getting slowly louder.

"No, I don't have to walk you?"

Suddenly realizing what he had actually said she responded as quickly as she could. "Oh, um, no, I'll go now."

"The next time I see you, you had better look like you've taken care of yourself." He joked, leading her out the door.

"Ya, sure thing." She whispered after the door was closed.

----------

Down at the medbay she made sure to avoid any clones, Jedi, or anyone else human and went straight for a medical clone, preferably one she didn't know.

"Hey I got hit with some shrapnel but the bandage fell of, can you help?" She said, hoping he wouldn't bother asking her any questions. His face was kind, he must have known Ahsoka and she just didn't recognize him, or at least he knew of her from other stories told about The Chosen One's pathetic Padawan.

"Sure thing commander, why don't you sit down."

Commander. She wasn't sure she'd ever really get used to being called something so demanding of respect, but it felt nice knowing that he was willing to help.

A moment later he came back with a roll of bandage in one hand and Bacta in the other, and Ahsoka realized he hadn't properly seen the wound yet.

"So, does it have a good story?" He asked her with a smile, gently holding Ahsoka's pale orange arm out to wrap the bandage around it, but ignoring the Bacta after seeing that the wound had already started healing.

"Huh?" She flashed back to what he was saying.

"The scars, do they have a good story?" She realized what he meant and quickly regretted coming here. He had taken off the glove to wrap the bandage a little further than where Kix had previously wrapped it. He didn't look shocked, or scared, or pitiful, just curious and gentle. He had surely met a good few soldiers who weren't willing to tell the stories, but he somehow knew that Ahsoka might.

"Oh, not really. Just... battle scars." She said, hoping he wouldn't push.

"And the shrapnel?" He probably thought that the scars she had just given herself that had hardly started to heal were the same as the scars from the shrapnel. Before he continued wrapping the bandage, he applied Bacta to the more open wound that clearly hadn't been treated.

"Exploded a droid factory, I almost got caught in the blast." The girl said blankly.

"Sounds pretty heroic." He was almost finished wrapping, and the fidgety teenager was eager to get out of here and back to her room where she could try yet again to get some sleep, unplagued by nightmares.  "The name's Cub." He told her after a short silence.

"Ahsoka." The moment he let go of Ahsoka's arm, she was off the table and walking out the door.

"Thanks." She said, turning her head back towards the door.

"Take care Ahsoka." The words were gentle. She was oddly comforted by them.

----------

Anakin was waiting for her when she got back, sitting on his bed with the door open. "I expect to see a Padawan that got medical attention and if I don't I'm walking with you for real this time." Anakin yelled through the open door. The comment got an amused chuckle from Ahsoka as she walked towards his room. At the entrance you could clearly see her bandaged right arm patched up shoulder. "That's what I'm talking about. How're you feeling Snips?" He gestured to the mat on the floor where he usually would have meditated, and watched her comply.

"Good."

"No, you're not." He quickly shot back, looking straight at the figure now sitting cross-legged on the floor.

"What do you mean?" She wasn't surprised that he knew something, but even Anakin wouldn't usually be that... blunt about it.

"You can talk to me you know, I want to listen."

He lies, just like you

he doesn't care about you, no one does

You deserve to die for how much you've lied to them

Just grab the knife Ahsoka, slit your throat and never look back

"It's not important." Ahsoka said back, in more of a whisper than before.

"It's important to me."

I'm not an Anisoka shipper (Or a Rexsoka shipper, but that's beside the point lol), but this level of brotherly love makes me so happy 😄

This won't be a super long story (I hope) but I do want to make as many feels as I can into it, so if you have any fluff idea, feel free to comment
