December 10 2021

It was night time as Alex and Harrison were at the cabin and were sitting by the table as silence surrounded them and both of them didn't speak a word. Alex was fixing his hair and was thinking about what to say to his son. The son he hasn't seen and spoken to in years and he was trying to find the right words to say to him.

[What do I say? What can I possibly say to the son I abandoned?]

Alex: You got taller.

Harrison: Happens.

Both of them chuckled and after that they were silent until Winters said something to him.

Alex: If you're cold, I can put some more wood on the fireplace.

Harrison:. . . . . . I'm fine.

Alex took a deep breath and nodded as Harrison looked at him before Winters said something to him.

Alex: You hungry? I could whip up some blueberry pancakes. You used to love those.

Harrison: Yeah. . . . . I'm glad you still remembered.

Alex: Yeah. Whenever I make those pancakes. You would immediately finish your entire plate.

Harrison: Yeah, I remember. . . . . . But I'll go for a sandwich right now

Alex: Oh Okay. One sandwich, coming right up.

Harrison nodded as Alex immediately got up from his seat and walked towards the kitchen as he opened the fridge to grab all the ingredients needed to make the sandwich. While Alex was making the sandwich, Harrison got up from his seat and began looking around the cabin as he saw a picture on the table and looked at the picture. It was a picture of Alex and the bowling team as Winters noticed Harrison looking at the picture and said something to him.

Alex: Yeah, we got second place at the Harvest Fest Tournament last year.

Harrison: Cool.

Alex had the sandwich ready as he placed the plate on the table and Harrison sat down and began eating the sandwich as Alex also sat down and looked at him as he was thinking about everything that has happened until Harrison said something to him.

Harrison: So. . . . . . You're not dead.

[He's wants an explanation. But the only one is that his father is a monster.]

Alex: I'm sure this is hard.

Harrison: This? No. . . . . .

He took a deep breath and looked at his father before he said something to him and Alex was listening to him.

Harrison: Growing up without a dad, that was hard. . . . . And opening up that letter. . . . finding out you let me believe you were dead all those years. . . . That was brutal.

When Harrison spoke about the letter, Alex was shocked and wondered if Hannah gave the letter to him. Hannah McKay is Harrison's Caretaker who after Alex faked his death many years ago, Hannah moved to Argentina and has since then been raising Harrison and taking care of him. Winters even gave the letter to Hannah before his death and wanted her to not let Harrison know about what happened to his father.

Alex: Hannah showed you the letter?

Harrison: No. I found it when she died. . . . . . .

Alex:. . . . . . . Hannah died? How?

Harrison:. . . . . . . . Pancreatic Cancer.

A wave of sadness and shock hit Alex's heart as he couldn't believe it. He looked at Harrison, still shocked by what he heard as he said something to him.

Alex:. . . . . . . I didn't know. . . . When did she die?

Harrison: Three years ago. . . . .

Alex: What happened to you? Where have you been?

Harrison: [Sighs] A social worker put me on a plane from Buenos Aires to Miami. I bounced around a bunch of terrible foster homes. . . . . No one wants a teenager and finally I decided to find you. The return address got me that town in Oregon and I found out where you worked. Then I found out that you left. That's when it got a little harder to track down Jim Lindsay.

Harrison took another bite of the sandwich as he continued speaking while Alex was listening to him.

Harrison: You know how many Jim Lindsays there are on the Internet?

Alex: It's kind of the point.

Harrison: Then I found a shot of you on Instagram. Pictures don't lie. Fred JR who's on the bowling team was talking about you right here in Iron Lake.

Harrison took another deep breath and ate the sandwich before he looked at Alex and said something to him.

Harrison: Tell me, why are you in Iron Lake? So why all these lies that your Jim Lindsay? What happened to Alex Winters?

[He killed dozens of people, got your mother and your aunt killed too.]

Alex: It's not who I am anymore. Alex had to die.

Harrison: What are you talking about?

Alex looked at Harrison and began thinking about everything that has happened as he sighed to himself and looked at his son before he said something to him.

Alex: Its a long story. . . . . [Sighs] We should get some rest and I'll tell you everything in the morning.

Harrison was silent and stared at his father until he nodded as he got up and went to the bathroom while Alex was looking at the ground and continued thinking about everything that has happened.

Suddenly Alex heard a sound coming from the window. It sounded like something metallic was tapped on the glass.

Alex got up from his seat and slowly walked towards the window as the tapping got even louder which made him annoyed and he said something.

Alex: Stop that.

Suddenly the window was destroyed as he heard someone speaking at him.

????: YOUR NOT LISTENING!

Alex stepped back as he looked back and his sister, Olivia was gone and the window was back to normal as he said something

Alex: I need to be there for my son.

Winters was gonna walk away until Olivia appeared in front of him, grabbed his throat before she lifted him up and slammed him towards the wall as she was angry and said something to him.

Olivia: YOU MANIAC! YOU PSYCHOPATH! BY SOME MIRACLE, IF YOU DON'T END UP KILLING YOUR SON JUST LIKE HOW RITA GOT KILLED! YOU SURE AS HELL ARE GONNA SCREW HIM UP!

Olivia was gone as Alex was looking around and was coughing until he saw Harrison leaving the bathroom as he sat down on the table and continued eating his sandwich while Winters was staring at him and was thinking about what Olivia said to him before he said something to himself.

Alex: I'm not gonna let anything happen to him.

Arc 2: Shadows In The Glass

December 11 2021 [The Next Day]

Lily Kosnicki is her name. Two days ago, she met Katherine at the Tavern because Lily was low on cash and wanted to leave the town. However Katherine gave her some money and food and even told her about a shelter down the road which is run by Desiree.

However someone offered Lily a place to stay and she accepted the offer. Right now, she was at the bathroom as Kosnicki was brushing her teeth and was done. She left the bathroom and looked around her room until she noticed something on the table.

It was a bottle of champagne along with some strawberries as she had a smile on her face and opened the bottle.

Soon she began eating the strawberries while drinking champagne as Lily smiled to herself and began singing a song.

Lily: Cause, baby, now we got bad blood

You know it used to be mad love

So take a look what you've done

Cause baby, now we got bad blood

Now we got problems

And I don't think we can solve them

And, baby, now we got bad blood

As Lily was drinking champagne and eating strawberries while singing the song. She was unaware that there was a camera in the room.

Meanwhile there was someone looking at the camera footage on the laptop as he saw Lily drinking champagne while singing the song as he was staring at the footage.

Meanwhile Alex was at the kitchen as he was preparing a cup of coffee for himself and saw Harrison was asleep on the couch as he didn't want to disturb him and walked towards his room as Winters put his jacket on and looked at himself.

Alex looked at the calender and saw yesterday's date wasn't crossed out as he sighed to himself. For ten years, Alex stopped himself from killing any criminals and other serial killers after everything that has happened back in Miami.

The white deer that Alex kept following helped him bring back some of his humanity and tried to slowly destroy his Dark Passenger. That's why he always stops himself from shooting the deer.

However after Matt shot that deer, He felt a wave of rage and darkness and let his dark passenger out to kill him.

Now Alex feels guilty about what he did but he promised himself that this is the end and now he will be there for his son.

Alex sighed to himself as he looked back at the calender before he said something to himself.

Alex: Let's get back to the daily routine.

Winters put his gloves on and exited the cabin as he continued walking until he noticed something as he saw what it was.

There were some blood trails around the cabin as it was Matt's blood and Alex continued staring at it.

[This is what happens when I give in to my dark passenger. But I can fix this.]

Alex saw a shovel and immediately grabbed it as he began shuffling the snow to hide the blood trails as he continued walking around and shuffle the snow to cover the blood trails.

Once all the blood trails were covered up, Alex put the shovel away as he was gonna walk away until he heard a sound as Winters looked in front of him and saw what it was.

Multiple police cars showed up to his cabin as Katherine, Anne, Benjamin and Michael along with some officers exited the vehicle as Winters was looking at them.

[Well, this is one storm of f***]

Katherine: Matt Caldwell disappeared in the woods near here last night.

Anne: Nobody knows where's he's at.

Benjamin: And his friends have no idea either.

Katherine: Your place is close to all
the public hunting grounds,

Micheal: So we were hoping to set up a base camp here.

Alex: Yeah, of course.

Anne: Don't worry Jim. He probably drank too much alcohol and skipped the hunt.

Benjamin: He has a history of that. We'll get a call that he's sleeping in some motel

Michael: That's very true. Plus this isn't the first time Caldwell disappeared like this.

Katherine: Still we need to search around the area.

Alex: Alright then. You can set up by the firepit. The searchers can stay warm. I'll get some coffee going and breakfast too, if you all want.

Katherine: [Smiles] My adorable angel.

She kissed his cheek as they smiled at them and Alex smiled at her before everyone told the searchers, civilians and officers to set up the camp as they began setting it up.

Alex was carrying some equipment with Katherine, Anne, Benjamin and Micheal as they were talking to each other until Winters noticed someone looking around the camp.

The women was staring at them as she noticed Alex and smirked before she winked at him. However Winters narrowed his eyes as he saw her walking around the camp.

[What is she up too?]

Katherine: Hey Jim, I'm gonna get some coffee from your cabin.

Alex: Sure.

She smiled at him and began making her way towards the cabin door until the door opened by itself and she saw someone standing in front of her.

Harrison: What's going on here?

Katherine was confused and stared at him as she looked at Alex who was staring at them until she said something.

Katherine: Jim? Who is he?

Harrison: I'm Harrison. Jim's son.

Katherine and Harrison shook each others hands as she was surprised and shocked that Jim had a son and said something.

Katherine: Son?

Alex was staring at them as he saw Katherine staring at him before she looked back at Harrison.

[Add that to the list of things, I need to clean up.]

Katherine: [Smiles] Welcome to Iron Lake, Harrison. I'm Katherine.

Harrison: Nice to meet you.

Both of them entered the cabin as Alex was thinking about something until he heard someone speaking to him.

Micheal: Hey Jim. Wood's gonna rot if you don't cover it with a good tarp.

Alex: Yeah, I'll get right on that.

Benjamin: You get it from your store. That's faster.

Anne: Just pick up a good canvas one. As long as there's wax on it.

Officer: Or a polyurethane one.

A vision of Alex placing the tarp on the table before he wrapped Matt around with duct tape and plastic played in his mind as he said something.

Alex: Okay then.

Meanwhile Katherine and Harrison were at the kitchen as they were talking to each other.

Katherine: So, you came here by yourself?

Harrison: It's no big deal. Used to moving around a lot.

Katherine: Your mother wasn't worried?

Soon they saw the door being opened as Alex entered the cabin and said something to them.

Alex: What are you two talking about?

Harrison: Mom. . . . . . That she passed away.

Katherine:. . . . . . I'm. . . . . I'm so sorry.

Harrison: Then, of course, when that happened. I came up here to be with Jim.

Katherine: So, you're here for good?

Harrison: Actually, we haven't really
talked about it yet but-

Katherine: [Smiles] You should stay. Iron Lake is a great place, you'll definitely love it.

Alex has a small smile on his face as Katherine left the cabin to check on the team while Harrison and Winters were at the kitchen as Alex said something to him.

Alex: Thanks for covering for me.

Harrison: Didn't do it for you. I just didn't wanted any police officers in my business.

He began walking away and left the cabin as Alex thought about what he said.

[Huh, like father, like son]

Alex fixed his jacket as he left the cabin and began walking towards the camp while thinking about something.
