Killian:
It's not real. It's not. It can't be. Bloody demons ruin all that I love. First The King, then Rumplestiltskin, now a bloody Grydolin. Can fate ever just say, you know, I like you. Let me make things easier. But no. Emma stands before me, her eyes red, cheeks shimmering with fresh tears.
"I'm sorry Killian. There's no other way." She says with a wavering voice.
I scoop her into a hug. I will follow her to the enchanted forest. I will. I won't let her go alone. No one should be alone there. Her lips press against my cheek with a sudden urgency. I pull away to look at her eyes. They blaze with fear, anger, sadness, and a flicker of love. I pull her close again, gently lowering my lips to hers. The kiss speaks volumes. It conveys every ounce of passion, love, fear, hurt and happiness. Each feeling pours into the slow, gentle kiss. Nothing makes me feel better or worse. Better, because I knew she loves me. Worse because it will be our last kiss. When she pulls away, I cling to her hand, forcing her to yank it away.
"Emma... Wait," I whimper, "Just wait."
I take a necklace from around my neck and hand it to her. It has a tiny heart on a ring. It was from a man who died to save his one true love, and begged me to give this to her. She had died though, before I got there. So now I gave my one true love the ring.
"Killian-" she stuttered.
"Relax love, it's just a keepsake."
She puts it on, and just before leaving she whispers in my ear, "I love you Killian Jones."
She then slips out the door before I can say a word.
Emma:
His face showed signs of crying, and I couldn't stick around for that. Tears dripped down my own cheeks, as I played with the ring in my hands. My first stop was Snow, she would be getting me dressed right. My heeled boots clicked along the pavement and the stairs until I knocked on Moms door.
"Emma, please come in."
The next hour was spent curling my hair and doing my make up. Then, when I thought I was done, she stepped out with a trunk full of clothes. A yellow ball gown, dripping with topaz jewels. A rich red riding outfit, and a dark green peasant dress. The list goes on and on. The last item was my favorite. Long dark blue leather pant with laced up the sides paired with a black flowy pirate shirt and a white belt. The shoes were black boots, and there was a beautiful skirt to use if necessary. I went and tried it on. It fit like a glove. After a tearful goodbye, I headed to Regina's house.
She opened the door and sat me down. We discussed what to tell Henry, and she told me that she would in fact miss me. Several minutes went by before she stood up and grabbed the wand to send me away.
Regina
I performed the ancient spell. The portal opened up. Then Miss Swan tugged her trunk to the edge. Right before she jumped her Pirate emerged from the entryway. He had a mad look in his eyes. She jumped and he followed behind.
Emma
I fell on hard ground. The earth beneath me was rocky, and sandy. I could hear waves crashing close by. I stood up and brushed my self off. My hands reached up to grasp the ring. It wasn't there.
"No no no no no." I cried out.
Suddenly strong arms grabbed me from behind. A hook held out the chain.
"Looking for this love?"
Heehee. I love myself. This was one of the more difficult chapters to write, and the longest so far. Thanks for supporting me so far in this story.
