Percy's POV:

"You ready man?" a familiar voice said causing me to look to the side and see my life long friend Phoenix standing and looking at me and smiling

"I guess... who knew that everything would come down to this..." I said as I looked down and at my formal outfit "I mean, I know that we're close and all but this?"

"Dude you're the one who proposed, are you really going to back out now? If so just let me know so I can start digging your grave, I'll also let Hades and Thanatos know to get you as soon as she starts wailing on you" He joked and I rolled my eyes and threw a punch at him

"Shut the hell up man" I sighed as he stopped my punch cold and laughed "I'm not backing out, I'm just surprised that Zeus hasn't roasted me yet... that and Chaos allowed us to use his domain for the wedding" I said as the door to the dressing room opened and the aforementioned Creator walked in wearing a pitch black suit causing Phoenix and I to share a quick look before we faced him and bowed deeply

"Greetings lord Chaos, what can we do for your graciousness today?" We said in sync causing Chaos' eye to twitch

"Why must you annoy me so damn much?" He said exasperatedly as he rubbed his forehead "No matter, are you ready Percy? Midgardsormr is ready to begin the ceremony, and you know it to be wise to not keep him waiting" he finished with a smile as he put his hands on our shoulders "You've both come so far since your training, both of you... powerful, kind, caring, one of you is getting married... I'm so proud!" He said as he pulled us both into a bone crushing hug that caused me to grunt

"Thanks, and all... but could you please not break me yet? Artemis will beat you if you don't let her do that on her own..." I said making Chaos immediately let go with a nod before walking out

After he left, I reached into my mind and called out to my friends Instinct and Iota. I heard a short complaint and a grunt of annoyance.

"What do you want?" Instinct said as he appeared in front of me and I chuckled

"Get ready, today is the wedding, so be on your best behavior" I say, and he nods before yawning and vanishing from sight

Once he was gone, I turned and looked at Phoenix and nodded. We then turned toward the door and walked out. Phoenix and I walked up the aisle toward our assigned spots and waited.

'Artemis never wanted a slow traditional wedding that modern mortals normally have. She wanted a simple and quick wedding and what that meant was that she wanted to walk up with me. However, even Chaos put his foot down saying that while he respected her wishes, the rule of the groom must never see the brides dress until the ceremony is underway' I thought to myself as I looked around and saw my friends that I had made over the years

Carter, Sadie, Magnus, Blitzen, Hearthstone, Shadow, my mom, Paul, my little sister Estelle, the Olympians, Reyna, Blackbeard and even some Primordials. Chronus, Hemera, Aether, to name a few, then there are Chaos' family, which included, Skyla, Order and himself. I looked behind me and saw Midgardsormr behind the altar. I smiled as I felt Phoenix nudge me and I turned back around as the doors at the far end opened up and I saw Zeus walking with Artemis down the aisle. A small smile crept onto my face as I saw the silvery white dress that Artemis was wearing. In her hands she held a bouquet of full bloom Moonlace. She walked up and once Zeus split off she made her way up next to me and faced my direction. At that moment, everyone went silent.

"We are gathered here to today to celebrate the union of Lady Artemis, goddess of the moon, child birth, chastity, the hunt, wilderness and more, and Perseus Jackson, Guardian of Artemis, Paladin of the moon, Bane of Kronos, Bane of Heracles, Bane of Orion, Bane of Giants, Hero of Olympus twice over, Love of the Moon, Captain of The Moon's horizon, Defeater of Gaia and Tartarus, Slayer of the world snakes" Midgard said and I snuck a glace at Chaos to see him grinning like a madman as Midgard continued to list off my many titles

After several long minutes of me just staring blankly at Midgard he finally finished the introduction of the ceremony and it progressed to the long speech that he had prepared. Finally, when the time for the vows were to be made came around I snapped back into reality.

"Do you Perseus Jackson, promise to forever love, to cherish, to protect, to care for Artemis, in health and in sickness, in war and in peace, for as long as you shall live?" he asked, and I looked Artemis directly in her beautiful silver eyes and smiled

"I do" I said confidently

"And do you Artemis, promise to forever love, to cherish, to put up with and care for Perseus, in health and in sickness, in war and in peace, for as long as you shall live?" He asks and I felt my eye twitch as she giggled

"I do" She said with a smile on her face

"Then I now pronounce you..." he said as the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end and I lunged forward and tackled Artemis to the ground as a long and black metal lance struck the ground followed by several others before they exploded with a large blast of heat

"Guardians! Code Sigma! Fall in on me!" I heard Phoenix yell through my ringing ears

I rolled off of Artemis and helped her up as I shifted into my paladin armor and flicked my hood up. Just as I looked around to see the damage, several winged figures dropped down and landed next to the several craters that the lances created.

"There it is! The Ancient dragon!" I heard one yell as Midgard grew into a larger form "Kill it!" They yelled before attempting to charge forward

"Guardians intercept!" I yelled out as one tried to skewer Artemis "Protect the guests! Shadow on me!" I hollered and the warrior I was fighting dropped dead as Shadow appeared on him with his hidden blades stuck in the opponents neck

"No! It can't be!" I heard Order yell out "He should be dead!"

"Obviously not, little brother" a dark and sinister voice sounded out causing me to look up

Above the now ruined wedding was a long-robed man with a pair of skeletal wings jutting from his back. The man floated down slowly before Phoenix flew up and attempted to blast the man with his flames. But to the shock to everyone, he was swatted down like a fly, causing Phoenix to crash into the ground, sending up a cloud of dust.

"What are you doing here!" I heard Chaos yell at the man

"To wreak havoc and destruction amongst the universe!" the man said as he looked around and his eyes landed on Artemis and me "And I think I shall start with the two love birds, as it is only proper that I give them the most attention!" he said before he laughed "Now DIE!" he shouted as he held out the palm of his hand and a beam of black power shot forward towards Artemis

I summon my shield and drop to a knee just as the attack hits and I feel the blast slowly pushing me back.

"Zain! NOW!" I heard a good friend yell and I glanced to the side to see the ninja like Zain launch into the air only to return to the ground forcefully

The energy vanished and I looked over my shield to see the man eyeing us with an insane look in his eyes.

"Not bad, but can your pathetic shield hold up against the might of me? The great and mighty Shi!? Destroyer of worlds! The death of galaxies!! No, no it cannot" He said finally before he launched another yet albite much larger beam of energy at us

"NO"
