"Alright I am leaving first" Zhao Yunlan said to his colleagues as he held his belonging and walked out of the building towards his bike.

As soon as he stepped out of the building his face was hit by cold wind making him shiver , it was a dark night with not even a single star in the sky.

"looks like its gonna rain"

Yunlan said to himself and quickly got on his bike and drove towards his home , but when he was halfway to his room his bike suddenly stopped

"Oh come one what's wrong with you now" Yunlan said and got off the bike after checking here and there he suddenly noticed that there was no petrol in the bike ,and unfortunately there was not petrol pump anywhere near the surroundings and to top it all it suddenly started raining.

Although Zhao Yunlan loves rain he but currently he only wished for the rain to stop because it was already very cold and the rain makes it worse and the cold wind blowing makes it even more worst.

"great just great, dear god have I offended you lately" Zhao Yunlan said helplessly.

He can't leave his bike here although he really wants to through it but he can't because the bike was really expensive and he hadn't even completed its EMI.

So with a sigh he decided to just drag his bike all the way to home

By the time Yunlan reached home he was completely drenched in rain he parked his bike in the garage and walked inside his house ,

Thankfully the house was warm.

"Yunlan you are back?" a voice said , the voice belonged to an old middle aged woman

"yes aunty I am back.. sorry for being late"

"oh its nothing sweetheart by the way you are completely wet why don't you go and take a shower while I prepare soup for you" the woman said

"oh no its okay aunty... you should go home now" Yunlan said

"oh yeah I remember Anna is also here" the woman said

"oh Anna?"

"yeah me" a tall young beautiful woman came out from the living room

"hey Yunlan you look terrible "

"an what are you doing here "

"I came to pick up my mom but you were still not home so I decided to wait" Anna said

"okay now you can go"

"hey that's not fair we met after so many days and yet you behave like this" Anna said with a pout

Yunlan gave a faint smile "alright alright how have you been "

"great"

"okay enough you two Yunlan go and take a bath while I will prepare soup for you .and your father is already sleeping so don't disturb him" the old woman said

"okay aunty Lin whatever you say goes" Yunlan said and took out his phone kept it on the table in the living room and walked straight inside his room to take a hot shower

While he was taking shower his phone which was kept outside rang and was picked up by Anna

"Hello whose this"

on the other side of the Line was Shen Wei who for a woman was shocked to hear a woman's voice he checked the number again it definitely belonged to Yunlan so who was this woman Shen Wei remembers that Yunlan told him that he was the only child so who was this

"hello ?is anyone there?"

Shen Wei cleared his throat and said "um....I want to talk to Yunlan"

"Yunlan is in shower you can call later " Anna said

"o.okay " Shen Wei said but before he could say anything the phone was disconnected

On the other side Anna held the phone in her hands which had died due to low battery.

Anna didn't pay much attention to the phone call and walked towards the kitchen where her mother was.

After sometime Zhao Yunlan finally came out of the shower and saw mother and daughter pair in the living room

"Yunlan the food is in the kitchen make sure to eat it before it gets cold and I 'll be leaving now " Mrs. Lin said '"okay aunty thanks again"

"take care Yunlan we'll leave now" Anna said and both the mother daughter pair walked out .

Yunlan bid them farewell then went to check on his father who was sleeping peacefully and then went to the kitchen to eat his food .

After eating he went to his bed and as soon as he hit the bed a wave of exhaustion hit him and he fell asleep , fortunately next day it was sunday so he can rest peacefully.

While Zhao Yunlan was sleeping peacefully Shen Wei on the other side was getting restless , continuously staring at his phone waiting for Yunlan's call or message but nothing came

Shen Wei wanted to hangout with Yunlan since it was Sunday tomorrow but he can't reach him

"why is he not calling, or picking up my call .did I make him angry on something?" Shen Wei sighed and patiently waited and waited

The morning arrived but there was no call neither there was any response to the call ; even now Shen Wei patiently waited but after sometime he gave up he was done waiting , after eating his breakfast he took his car keys and drove towards Yunlan 's house

Shen Wei had never been to Yunlan's house before , so currently he felt a little anxious .

Inside the house Zhao Yunlan woke up with a heavy head, his entire body was in pain and his head was spinning , he felt extremely uncomfortable but he wanted to cry when he heard the doorbell.

who the hell was came here at this time disturbing his not-so-peaceful sleep , Zhao Yunlan thought to ignore it but the other person was very persistent and kept on ringing the doorbell.

After two minutes Yunlan got so pissed that he yelled "who the fuck is here can't I even sleep peacefully!"

Yunlan very slowly and with great difficulty got out of the bed and dragged his body the door ready to shoot whoever dared to disturb him .

But his anger vanished when he saw Shen Wei.

But Shen Wei's face was covered with concern , Zhao Yunlan looked pale very pale , and his face was red , his lips were dry and he seems to be shivering , Shen Wei immediately placed a hand on his head and to his horror Yunlan's head was very hot.

"Yunlan you are sick why didn't you called me before idiot " Shen Wei scolded and without wasting anytime he took back Yunlan to his bedroom and made him lay down

"gege you don't have to trouble yourself with me its just a normal cold I am fine"

"shut up don't you say a word be obedient and listen to me ,now tell me where is the first aid box"

"in the second drawer "

Shen Wei took out the box then took a thermometer and placed it in Yunlan's mouth, when Shen Wei saw the reading his face became even more concerned , he looked through the first aid box but there was no medicine

"why don't you have medicine for fever or cold why do you only have painkillers" Shen Wei asked

"I usually don't get sick usually so I thought it won't be necessary to buy them"

Shen Wei felt so angry that he wanted to laugh is this person really Yunlan , his Yunlan so stupid

Without wasting any time he called his family doctor but Yunlan stopped him again" gege there is no need to trouble the doctor I will be fine "

"shut up its his job to treat the sick , he is getting paid for it , its not an trouble at all"

After finishing his call Shen Wei made preparations to give Yunlan a sponge bath

" I am sorry gege I troubled you"

"For the last time Yunlan this is not trouble back then when I was suffering , crying, yelling and breaking down you were there for me you took care of me did you thought of me as trouble at that time huh?" Shen Wei asked

Yunlan shook his head

"then how come you think that I will think of you as a trouble , you must give me a chance to take care of you , our relationship has to be mutual not one sided , we are boyfriends so if you are sick it is naturally my responsibility to take care of you , so please be quiet and give me a chance to take care of you okay?"

Yunlan nodded

"good boy , I will give you a candy later " Shen Wei said and then gently patted Yunlan's head .
