Mr. and Mrs. Xiao welcomed Yibo with a smile and dragged him towards the dinning table. They were really happy to have Yibo for breakfast, in the past few days Yibo had become like a son to them , Mr. and Mrs. Xiao cared for Yibo just like their own child

While Yibo who had always missed the warmth of his parents ever since childhood was really thankful to Mr. and Mrs. Xiao , they held a really important place in Yibo's heart.

As soon as they sat on the Table Yanli served food to Yibo , but Yibo was looking around for a certain bunny who wasn't present at the table yet.

"Yibo what are you waiting for eat , come on" Mr. Xiao said and Yibo nodded before starting to eat his food.

After about a minute or two Zhan and Shen Wei also came down and Zhan sat beside Yibo while Shen Wei sat beside ZhuoCheng .

"good morning darling " Zhan said to Yibo in a flirty tone , followed by a glare from Yibo.

Zhan chuckled at the other's reaction before starting to eat while he was eating another idea popped into his head , he smiled and very sneakily put his hand on Yibo's thigh and started to caress it making Yibo choke on his food because of the sudden contact.

Yibo started to cough gaining everyone's attention , while Zhan gave him a glass of water and patted his back "drink water dear , you should eat carefully" Zhan said

"Zhan is right Yibo there is no hurry you should eat your food slowly" Mrs. Xiao said and Yibo nodded while thinking of different ways in which he could make Zhan regret his actions.

Shen Wei however noticed what was wrong so he said " Mom I guess the problem is not Yibo but the person sitting beside him , if he would remove his hand from Yibo's thigh then I guess Yibo would be able to eat more peacefully"

" is that so " Mr. Xiao said " Zhan you better stop bothering Yibo otherwise you won't get anything for lunch"

"Dad I am not bothering him I am just trying to talk to him , but by the way do you know Wei ge is keeping a secret from all of you " Zhan said changing the topic while his hand was still on Yibo's thigh

Everyone looked at Shen Wei while Zhan smirked

"What is it" ZhuoCheng asked

Shen Wie gave a glare to Zhan but the latter ignored it and said "he didn't tell you guys that he and officer Zhao Yunlan are dating !"

Everyone's including Yibo's eyes widen while Shen Wei choked on his food , and the next minute all of them bombarded Shen Wei with different questions

"son is this true?"

"since when are you guys together son?"

"gege why didn't you tell me?"

While Zhan laughed at the scene Yibo was looking at them amused , it is really a blessing to have a wonderful family who supports you and stands with you no matter what.

Zhan looked at Yibo who was deep in thoughts Yibo's face held a gentle smile but something about that smile made Zhan think that it was a sad smile.

'maybe he is missing his parents' Zhan thought to himself and took a piece of food from his plate and bought in front of Yibo's mouth , Yibo got startled from the sudden action but when he saw Zhan's genuine and affectionate he felt warmth spreading through his heart so without much delay he opened his mouth.

Zhan gladly fed him the food.

Yibo felt that this moment was really beautiful for a moment he felt that he was a part of this family to for some reason when Zhan fed him the bite of food it felt really warm and it made his hear beat fast how good it would be if they could stay like this for a long time maybe he should give Zhan a chance maybe Yibo should give himself a chance to live again to feel again to be happy again.

But will Zhan and this family accept him if they knew about his problem , will his insecurities really let him be at peace?

When saw that Yibo was agin spacing out he once again fed him a bite of food and said "darling stop zoning out if you have something to say then this guy here" Zhan said pointing to himself " is more than willing to listen".

Yibo's mind relaxed when he Zhan;s smile because for Zhan's smile was really reassuring. ~

"Yibo are you free today?" Zhan asked as he and Yibo came out of the house.

Yibo shook his head.

"then what are you doing today , its sunday I am quite sure you won't have any work to do" Zhan said

"I have to clean the house" Yibo said. Zhan became quiet for a while then suddenly he smiled and said.

"Let me help you" Zhan said and Yibo looked at him with a surprised face " don't say no , you have been to my house so many times so why can't I come to your house that's not fair"

Before Yibo could protest Zhan grabbed his hand and took him inside Yibo's house.

As soon as they came inside Zhan said " we should begin"

At this pint Yibo knew that it was useless to say anything so he quietly took the broom and gave it to Zhan while he himself took a duster and they both got to work.

Yibo was doing the dusting when he suddenly heard a loud noise

"AIYAAAA!"

Yibo quickly ran towards Zhan only to see him holding a rabbit , Yibo sighed and said

"Why did you yell?"

"Oh Yibo you didn't tell me you had a rabbit , he is so cute , did I ever tell you that I love rabbits "

"No" Yibo said and took the rabbit from Zhan and went towards his room followed by Zhan.

When Zhan entered Yibo's room he saw Yibo putting the rabbit in a cage , another thing that he noticed was that Yibo's room was dark themed compared to other rooms of the house.

"what are you looking at?"

"Your room is beautiful Yibo"

"you don't have to lie"

"no I am not lying its really good" Zhan said and came towards Yibo and held his hands " you know Yibo when I was little I had a friend whose personality was more or less like you , he was quite , aloof , lonely yet he was helpful ,kind and a gentle person he used to love rabbits to " Zhan said as he remembered a beautiful memory

Flashback

Little Zhan ran in the woods holding the hands of his little angel.

"Hurry up angel " Zhan said as he dragged the little kid by his hands. They ran until they came at a particular spot.

Zhan released his friend's hand and went towards a tree he bent down and picked up a rabbit hiding behind the tree and again came towards his friend.

"look I found them , you like rabbits right? How about you name this one " Zhan said

The other kid thought for a while before he said "Wuji, lets name it Wuji"

"okay then we will call it Wuji, from now on"

Both the kids played with the rabbits for a long time before they became tired.

"Angel let's go back, otherwise everyone will worry about us" Zhan said and the other kid nodded unwillingly

"don't worry we can come back here anytime, so don't be sad"

Just when they turned to head back Zhan noticed a necklace on the ground , he knew that the necklace belonged to his angel ,but it was broken so he decided to ask his father to fix it before giving it back to his angel ,

but only if he knew that this would be the last time he would spend with his angel.

Zhan was so deep into thoughts that he didn't notice the tears which were flowing down his cheeks he only came back to his senses when he felt Yibo's warm touch on his cheeks. Yibo wiped his teras before asking

"where is he now , your friend"

"He's gone , faraway from me he is just....gone" Zhan said in a weak voice

His friend was not only a friend for him , For Zhan that little angel meant much more to him than a friend but foolish Zhan never understood his angel's importance till he was gone , Zhan took him for granted.

After Zhan's little angel was gone he became lonely he had friends around him but no one could make feel happy no one can take his angels place, He didn't realize how important his angels was for him till he was gone.

When Zhan looked at Yibo he took a decision, he decided of not repeating the same mistake again, he is not going to wait anymore , he will tell Yibo about his feelings and even if he gets rejected then also he won't give up. For Zhan it was better to make his feelings known rather than sitting back and wait for Yibo to open up.

"Yibo , I have to tell you something" Zhan said and once again held Yibo's hand " I know that in your eyes my impression is not that good you might think that I am shameless which is true by the way and you might also think that I am an unreliable person , but Yibo when it comes to the people I love I am really dedicated why am I saying this? because Yibo I like you "

Zhan finally said that and Yibo's heart skipped a beat

"I like you a lot Yibo in a romantic way, so I am going to court you , I want to date you its okay you don't have to give me an answer immediately but I just wanted you to know my feelings they are true , they are genuine."

Yibo's heart stopped beating, he forgot breathe his crush was confessing to him it looks like a dream such a beautiful dream , but this was not a dream its reality Zhan really likes him

"Yibo can I....kiss you?" Zhan asked

Yibo's eyes widened, kiss? isn't it too fast but Yibo won't deny he also want to kiss Zhan. But it would be his first kiss should he just give his first kiss away just like that?

When Zhan saw that Yibo didn't answer he thought that Yibo might not be comfortable so he backed off, instead he kissed Yibo's forehead and smiled

"Let's take it slow" Zhan said and Yibo nodded

"Zhan do you really like me ?"

"yes" Zhan said

"but there are somethings about me which you might not like and are you are that you can tolerate a problematic person like me " Yibo asked

Zhan somewhat understood that maybe yibo was talking about his depression Zhan really wanted to ask about it from Yibo but he can't he wanted Yibo to tell him himself so he didn't say anything instead he hugged Yibo and said

"nothing about you is problematic darling and don't worry my feelings about you will not change , I like everything about you even your flaws and I want to you to feel the same way about me, and I assure you that I will never hurt you"

Yibo felt happy after he hear those words , Zhan's eyes showed that he was not lying he, Zhan's eyes held so much affection that Yibo's heart melted. So he gave Zhan his rare and gentle smile

it was the first time when Zhan saw Yibo smile the latter looked ethereal , Yibo looked so beautiful that Zhan couldn't take his eyes of him.

"Let's get back to work" Yibo said and Zhan finally came back to his senses.

After their work was done Yibo gave some snacks to Zhan before Zhan decided to go back to his house .

Just when Zhan was leaving he turned back and quickly kissed Yibo's cheeks who was ready to close the door , Yibo's face became red while Zhan chuckled at his reaction

"Yibo I forgot to ask you what's the name of your rabbit" Zhan said

"Wuji"

And with that Yibo shut the door leaving Zhan standing outside dumbfounded
