Its been a few days since that attack and ever since then every one got really busy with their work.

Shen Wei and Xiao Zhan went back to their company since the Jin's created a lot of trouble for them , the Jin's tried to hack into their system and tried to stole some information which was valuable for their company

Even the Xiao groups had to suffer some losses because of the Jin's; Yanli and Mr. and Mrs. Xiao and Zhuo Cheng as the corporate lawyer for the companies had to overwork so that their company does not face anymore problems.

Both the Wei group and Xiao Zhan increased their security. And used more advanced technologies to protect their data. And this time the Wang corporation also helped them Haikuan and Haoxuan helped them to secure some important deals and also buyed shares from Wei groups.

The Xiao family was really thankful to them. The three Wang brothers were like a part of the Xiao family now and Xiao Zhan could now see Yibo more often and he was really happy about that.

Mr. and Mrs. Xiao started to spend more time in finding ways to destroy 'Antimatter'

Zhao Yunlan also got busy with his work , Zhao Yunlan left no stone unturned to look for Meng Yao but when he didn't find anything he decided to change his tactics this time he started to look into all the illegal activities in which the Jin's were involved.

Zhao Yunlan also sent some spies to the Jin corporation. And he found that found that the Jin's were not normal people at all . they were much more complicated .

After a long day when Shen Wei came back home he found Zhao Yunlan standing near the entrance of the house.

"Yunlan how come you are here" Shen Wei asked with his usual smile

" I just came to visit you gege, how have you been doing these days" Zhao Yunlan said

"I am doing fine, there were some problems in the company but now we have taken care of it and everything is back on track"

"That's really good to know gege by the way are you taking care of your health" Shen Wei nodded and then looked at Zhao Yunlan the latter looked exhausted and thinner than before it was obvious that Zhao Yunlan was overworking himself.

"Did you had dinner" Shen Wei asked.

"I will , after I go back home"

Shen Wei sighed "Zhao Yunlan you should take care of your health too , come inside "

'no its okay gege I don't want to distu.."

"no one is at home mom, dad ,Shije , Zhuocheng , Zhan they are all busy so now come inside"

Zhao Yunlan compiled , he followed Shen Wei inside the big mansion, Shen Wei took of his coat and put his office bag on the sofa and then went to the kitchen and Zhao Yunlan followed him.

"Gege are you going to cook?" Zhao Yunlan asked and Shen Wei nodded

"When I was little I often used to cook for myself and my dad since my dad was always busy with his work he didn't have much time to take care of me"

"who taught you to cook "

"my mother and sometimes my grandmother as well"

Shen Wei took out the vegetables and other ingredients form the fridge.

"gege can I help you with something"

"you know cooking?"

"not at all but I can wash and cut vegetables"

"okay then wash these vegetables and then cut them and be careful with the knife"

After his work was done Zhao Yunlan sat near the counter and observed Shen Wei ; the latter was really a gentlemen , he had a perfect figure, a perfect face, a perfect personality ,according to Zhao Yunlan everything about Shen Wei was perfect , Zhao Yunlan was literally drooling over Shen Wei.

"here" Shen Wei place the food in front of Zhao Yunlan bringing the latter out of his trance.

Zhao Yunlan thanked Shen Wei and without wasting much time started eating , the food tasted heavenly.

"How is it" Shen Wei asked

"I loved it gege, it's amazing can I have more"

"I am glad you liked it"

"by the way gege I wanted to ask you something"

"go ahead"

"did you met with Mr. Lei's son again the one with whom you were kidnapped?"

Shen Wei stopped eating and looked at Zhao Yunlan "why are you suddenly asking this?"

"After Mr. Xiao told me the whole story and all I went back home, I remembered an incident from my childhood"

Shen Wei looked at Zhao Yunlan curiously

"My father was also a cop, I would frequently visit his work place and wait for him to complete his work , one day I went to his work place and sat on a chair just like everyday and waited for my father, while I was waiting for him I noticed a child carrying another unconscious child in his arms coming inside the police station , both of them were really in a bad condition specially the unconscious one, my father was the one who approached the two children but when he tried to take the unconscious kid in his arms the elder kid just backed away , he refused to let anyone touch the unconscious kid "

"The elder kid told his name and then his father's name before fainting , so after I heard that you were Shen Qiang's son I remembered this incident."

Shen Wei's eyes widen at this information. He never expected this ,

"so does your father know what happened to that child?" Shen Wei asked his eyes were filled with hopes.

"That child's condition was very critical , he was severely abused and the doctors found quiet heavy dosage of drugs inside the child's body , the doctors told that the child wouldn't survive "

Shen Wei's heart sank after hearing this , he felt anger , sadness and disappointment. 'That child was really young to die , he shouldn't have died'

Zhao Yunlan noticed Shen Wei's expression

"The child was taken away by his guardian , we didn't know for sure whether he died or survived , so don't be sad gege there is still hope"

The child was Lei's son and his only guardian after his father and mother's death would be his uncle i.e Lei's brother, there is really a chance that the child might be alive , but Shen Wei was not gonna raise his hopes he doesn't want to get disappointed again.

The atmosphere became silent and Zhao Yunlan cursed at himself for bringing up this topic.

"uh..i am sorry gege , I shouldn't have brought up this topic"

"its okay Yunlan its not your fault" Shen Wei paused then continued

"When I saw that child for the first time he looked really small, timid and scared, his body was covered with scars, it really pained my heart to see him like that and it gave me a feeling to protect him but that child would never open up to me , no matter how much I tried to talk to him he wouldn't budge he would always just sit in the corner"

"Those people didn't lay a hand on me because they wanted something from my father but that child was already an orphan, so they treated as if he was their toy , Everyday the guard would come and take the child away for few hours and the child would come back with new wounds on his body, the child looked like he was dead it really pained my heart to see him like that. I really wanted to take him far away from that place.

"I would often share my food with him and slowly I regained his trust , one day the guards came in again the child's face was covered with fear he looked at me as if asking me to help but I was just a kid I couldn't do anything against those guards.They forcefully took him and this time it took longer time than the usual for the child to come back and this time when he came back he..."

Shen Wei paused he took a deep breath and drank some water , Shen Wei's eyes were already wet Zhao Yunlan held Shen Wei's hand to comfort him , but Zhao Yunlan also felt his heart ache after hearing about the child's treatment.

"I still remember that day it was the same day my father came to rescue us , and it was the same day when that child completely broke down I don't know exactly what they did to him but when he came back he was completely silent his eyes held no emotion at all and gave me chills I slowly approached and then hugged his tightly he didn't push me away and after a few seconds he started crying , he cried badly , he screamed and begged me to take him away from there, even I cried after seeing him like that. That day he told me that he wished that he was never born."

"After hearing a little child say something like that I can't even imagine what he must have been through and I don't even want to know, that memory still gives me chills and nightmares but that child had been through all that I cant even imagine what mental state he might be in that time , no one deserves to be treated like that"

A lone tear escaped from Shen Wei's eyes , Zhao Yunlan wiped it and looked at the younger .

Zhao Yunlan felt pity for the child and also anger against those monster

"Gege after we solve our current problem then I will help you find that child" Zhao Yunlan said " my heart tells me that , that child must be alive so don't worry"

"I really hope what you said is true"

Gosh I nearly cried in this chapters , how can humans be so cruel. Anyways I hope its not confusing .
