I had finished packing my bag of all Necessities I needed enough to keep me going for a week. It would be a 3 hour ride to the town of Riften and then I would start Gathering more intel about my target.

I kissed my beautiful girlfriend on the cheek and bade farewell to my family promising to return as soon as I had completed my quest. When I walked out I saw the two beings from the gala standing on either side of Hall

Hall: Bub I want you to take Tartarus and Harbinger with you.

" but sis, I'm not worthy to wield such great warriors... what if I disappoint them?"

hall: Bub, you won't disappoint them. Consider them kinda like teachers. They'll teach and guide you on the right path. Besides mother is the one who them, so if you disappoint them, they'll be disappointing mother, and trust me, they do not want to disappoint mother. I still don't know where that guy's head went.

she said wincing as she took a drink of her bourbon.

Hall: be safe, and don't do anything I wouldn't do.

She said as she gave me a playful punch in the shoulder wearing her signature smirk. I smiled as I hopped onto my horse.

Lazari: daddy?, you'll be back soon right?

" of course I will my sweet little imp I would never leave my family permanently, but there is something I must attend to and I promise I will be home before you know it"

i smiled as lazari backed up and razor hopped onto my horses back. with a gentle nudge on my foot we sped off heading north towards the town of riften.

(timeskip 3 hours because im lazy)

I had arrived at the gates of Riften thanks to catastros being so fast I got there ahead of schedule I sent my horse in front of the gate and made my way over as razor follow close behind the two guards at the front of the gate took one look at me and immediately open the gate which told me that Auntie nocturnal told her Scouts that i was coming.

As I passed them I gave them a grateful nod as I looked around the city of Riften contemplating my next move if I remember correctly Auntie nocturnal told me that the ruins were north of shores stone which if I remembered what sisur told me about this area and the surrounding cities oh, Shores stone was a mining town.

My heart dropped remembering the loss of him, I may not have trusted him very much but I did respect him and paid attention to his lessons picking up every piece of knowledge that he offered. And knowing that during the fight of the Daedra during the blood moon when he dropped his pride and called us his family. I may not have shown it like Sadie is but I was feeling it.

I smiled as I looked at his dagger that I kept strapped on my side which he never reclaimed I told myself that when I get back I'll pay a visit to his statue and deliver it back to him.

Putting my mind back on track knowing that Shores stone was a mining town I decided I should grab a small bag while I'm here in the market to carry the loot that I find there. I wandered around the market when I found excellent size bag

it was at least 3 ft tall and add nice leather straps so it would fit securely on me when I asked the nice Merchants how much I was surprised that it was fairly cheap only a Dozen gold coins. I paid for the bag while asking for directions to Shores stone when they told me it was Northeast I gave a smile under my mask along with a respectful nod while razor sat at my side

as I made my way out of Riften I managed to bump into an old associate of mine karliah a member of Nightingale I gave her a wave which she returned I climbed upon catastros after feeding him an apple and fed razor a couple of chicken legs with the bones removed I got from the market to give him some energy after letting him take a nice rest we headed Northeast straight towards Shores stone.

Upon arriving at shor's Stone I looked around it seemed to be a small village with at least three buildings one being a blacksmith and the other two looking like residential houses upon entering I Saw The citizens in a state of panic and the cause of said Panic was quickly answered when horde of the largest spiders I ever seen in my whole freaking life

" spiders, why did it have to be spiders ?" I said to myself as razor and I hopped off of my horse pulling out my black star before shooting one in the head and much to my surprise the damn thing bounced off like I shot it with a pellet gun this was now a good news bad news situation the good news is they were no longer focused on the citizens anymore the bad news is they were now focused on me

" well this just gets better and better. Okay you overgrown arachnids come and get some" I pulled Ragnarok off of my back and got into a stance if these things were like any other spider then their weak points should be the same. i remember sisur teaching about these things apparently theyre called frostbite spiders and at a distince they spit poison and he also mentioned some advised tactics. #1 use a frenzy spell to make them fight each other or make them spit on eachother as they are vulnerable to theyre own toxen .

As the horde of spiders chased me I grinned and used my surroundings to my advantage I ran toward a partway fallen tree once I passed it I looked back to see if the spiders were still on me they were still in Pursuit I smart I pulled out my black star and shot the Vine that was holding the tree up causing the rotten tree to crash onto the spiders killing three of them by crushing them there were still two more.

I could tell that judging by the look of their faces and the things that they were poisonous as for how potent to the poison was I didn't know and I wasn't going to stand here and find out they were too small for me to dive underneath them but I can still behead them if I could get close enough although that would be putting me directly into the line of fire of those fangs.

One of the spiders reared up and spit poison out of its mouth I immediately ducked just barely avoiding getting hit until I heard a loud ear piercing Screech looking back I saw the poison landed on the other spider as it started to melt as if the poison was acid before I could react and turn around and finish the last one it lunged and made me stumble on a rock

Before I could make my move the spider was struck from behind with an arrow I looked up to see what appeared to be shor's Stone guards with bows when the spider turned around to face them I took the opportunity and jumped into the air with Ragnarok and both hands and cut it in half lengthwise between the main body and the abdomen spilling its venom under the ground as I jumped onto its now top half I thrusted Ragnarok into its head right into its brain.

Razor yelped as the guards fired at him and I aim my black star at the arrow in one of the guards bow and pulled the trigger splitting the arrow and standing in front of Razor protectively.

" the next person who attacks my pet will answer to me!"

The sound of heavy footsteps came from the building to my left which appear to be a blacksmith as he had a blacksmith apron on and had a mace holstered on his side the guards immediately backed off as he held his hand up.

?; thank you very much for getting rid of those frostbite spiders, my name is filnjar and I'm the blacksmith of shor's Stone. I hope you haven't come here looking for work in the mine because it's been overrun with those things.

I nodded as I holstered my Blackstar under my cloak as the guards went about their business and razor relaxes

" it's no trouble really, I was simply in the right place at the right time and as for working in the mine no I'm not looking for work in the mine I'm heading to a Nordic ruin north of here''

Filnjar: I see so you're heading to Champions rest that was discovered by one of our mining party. I'll tell you what as it's obvious you have experience in combat I'll make you a deal if you can rid the mine of the rest of the frostbite spiders I will make you something to assist you on your journey do we have an agreement?

" very well I shall do as you ask but would it be all right if razor and my horse stayed here with you until I'm done down there?

Filnjar: of course they will be safe here with me and thank you once again for doing this for us if we can't get into the redbelly mine we can't make money and if we can't make money we won't make it through the winter as we wont be able to buy goods.

" I understand, take me to this mine and I will complete the task you have asked of me besides there's some new tactics I've been wanting to try out."

The blacksmith led me to the entrance of the mine which was propped open by tree branches to prevent the Mind from collapsing in on itself and one of the shore Stone guards was there waiting.

I walk through the entrance Ragnarok in my hand my Blackstar out and chambered as I entered the mine upon entering I saw the Deep hole that was mined into and sure enough it was infested with those spiders.

" say your prayers you overgrown arachnids because the people have called in the Exterminator."
