I smiled widely and I looked her over. She was wearing a long tight black dress. It hugged every curve of her body perfectly.

I approached her and offered my hand to help her down from the Rock from which she sat. She carefully took it as I helped her down.

" I didn't think it was you Jane. I thought you hated my guts."

Jane: I did at first but then when you saved me . I saw something in you.

We walked to the picnic and sit down. We sat there and we ate calmly. The blissful silence was nice for a change. Jane passed me a container with a heart omelet inside. So what was Jane made the heart omelet that day.

" so it was you that made that heart omelet that day huh.?"
Jane: yeah I figured that normal hearts were getting bland. so I wanted to make you something with better flavor.

I nodded as I ate the heart omelet slowly and calmly. It tasted amazing just like before.

" this is really good Jane I may ask you to make this for me more often."

I saw Jane smile and blush. I smiled under my mask and continued to eat. After I was done I sat the container next to me.

Jane: you look nice by the way.

" you look good to Jane that dress looks very good on you."

I noticed Jane blushing fiercely I smirked under my mask. We continued to eating in silence.

Jane: did you like the gifts I left for you.?

" yeah thank you Jane at least I can thank you in person."

I moved my cloak to the side showing the taser knuckles and the dragon knuckle knife.
I smiled under my mask as she stared at me with those beautiful black eyes.

Jane: I'm glad you like them.

I nodded and we sat and watched the sunset. We sat and enjoyed the beautiful scene together.

"So Jane what did you want to tell me that can no longer be hidden.?"

I saw Jane's face redden heavily.
Whatever she wanted to tell me must be important.

Jane: why after I was so rude and mean to you. Why did you continue to protect me? I mean I was nothing but mean to you and you still helped me. After the incident with the rake when you saved me. I started feeling warm toward you. I couldn't understand the feeling until now.

I saw her blushing fiercely and I put my hand on her shoulder and rubbed it slightly.

Jane: I - I like you blackheart.

" I love you too Jane."

I was taken aback when Jane wrapped her arms around me. Ultimately I relaxed and hugged her back.

We we set side-by-side looking at the sunset. I smile under my mask as my eyes drift to the beautiful woman beside me. When I looked at Jane her Black void eyes were staring back at me. I felt what I believe people call butterflies in my stomach.

" so how long have you had a crush on me?"

Jane: since you saved me from The Rake that night.

I saw that Jane was blushing fiercely. I kind of smiled at that a little. she looked so cute when she blushed. I then heard rapid flaps of wings and a loud squeak.
I look up and am met with the infamous flapping annoyance.
The mothman.

I wrapped my tendrils around the Mothman and threw it into a tree. It squeaked and flew after us knocking us down a Hill. As we fell I pulled Jane on to my chest to keep her from getting hurt. Once we land on the bottom I look up as the black winged thing flies over us.

As soon as it was gone I looked at Jane and saw that she had a smile on her face.

"What's so funny Jane."

Jane: look at our position tell me what you see.

I realize our position and blushed deeply under my mask.
Her waist was in perfect line of mine. Her arms are wrapped around my neck and her face was pressed against mine.

Jane: hahahahahaha.

Jane climbed off of me Only to fall on a branch. Causing her to  fall forward into me.

Jane: oops I'm sorry~.

I wrapped my tendrils around Jane and helped her up.
And then without warning Jane smashed her lips against my mask. To say I'm was surprised with a large understatement.

As things were starting to calm down a red portal opens and ball of fire falls into the lake.

???: yeah boy!!!

The man splashes at something and drags it to shore. Me and Jane drew our knives and pointed them at him.

" who are you? And what are you doing here.?

He raised his hands as a sign of surrender. Noticed him eyeing Jane much to my annoyance.

???: well he tried to kill my creepypasta family.

Me and Jane looked at each other in surprise.

The Jersey devil left with the demon who's heart I was currently eating.

It started to rain and I noticed a cave.

I picked Jane up bridal style and ran into the cave. Once we were inside I look off my cloak. Then draped it over Jane to keep her warm. The inside of the cave was large and spacious.

I started a fire in the middle of the cave. To warm the place up so Jane didn't get cold. I then sealed the entrance to the cave to keep the heat in. I then walked over and sit next to Jane. As soon as I was seated next to her she nuzzled into my side.

" i guess this makes us a couple huh Jane.?"

Jane: I guess so. so that means I get to do this.

Jane wrapped her arms around me and nuzzled into my chest.
To which I smile and rub her back.

Jane: hey Blackheart can I see your face please.

I was nervous if she saw what I looked like she'd be afraid of me. And wouldn't want to be around me anymore. But she asked and it would be rather rude to not oblige.

" alright Jane you'll probably be afraid of me after this. But I love you and I want you to be able to look at me in the eye. Without feeling afraid of me."

Jane: I love you for who you are.
Not what you look like. No matter what you look like. I'll love you no matter what.

I smile under my mask as I gently remove it. Revealing my Black as night skin red eyes and razor sharp teeth.

I visibly tense up when she reaches her hand to my face. I feel her smooth hand on my cheek. I look in her eye I smile she was not afraid of me. But rather accepted what I was.

Jane: is this the handsome face that you've been hiding? I don't see why you were. you're hot~.

I blushed at both the complement and the seductive look in Jane's eyes.

" I thank you for the compliment Jane. but you are by far more better looking than me. At least you look beautiful."

Jane: aww thank you~.

" well on the bright side Jane at least I don't look like the Joker.

Jane burst out laughing nuzzling into my side. I rubbed her back softly and chucked slightly.
Jane fell asleep a few minutes later. Her head was resting comfortably on my lap. I lean my head back against the wall of the cave and slept.

( at the mansion 3rd person POV)

Ann had given checkups to everyone. She had checked lynx Lily cookie and duck for injuries. Upon finding none on those four she moved to her last patient.

Hall was sitting on the chair reading a magazine.

Ann: ok hall your turn.

Hall stood up and walked over to Ann. Then sat on the bench as Ann checked her over.

ANN POV*

I looked at Hall's wounds and damn did she have a lot. On her chest ribs legs she even had a bullet hole in her shoulder.

" holy crap Hall how many fights do you get into?"

Hall: I get into a lot of bar fights.

I finished looking her over not finding any serious injuries.

"okay Hall you're good if you need another check-up let me know~"

I was a little disappointed when she simply nodded and walked away. I continued cleaning everything out and put everything away.

I lay down on my bed and closed my one eye. With one thought on my mind.
