I stared down my adopted brother my body tense ready to fight i eyed williams sword that was literally just his old katana. i decided ragnarok would be overkill so i just drew out the sword lazari and sally gave me.

i smirked under my mask as shard blindsided him him knowing full well that i wanted to deal with him myself but i knew that william pranked him by laxative chocolate so that was shards payback.

as william flew closer to me i gave him a hard kick in the side sending him flying making him land on a floating platform on the lava. Shard went to go after him but I stopped him immediately by hitting him in the head with a chocolate bar.

"No he's mine!"

I teleported onto the platform standing across from William as we were now staring each other down. You could cut the intensity of the air with a knife years of anger had honed my senses and my reflexes. William had grown muscular since I last saw him but I knew him better than anybody his fighting style was still the same.

I knew William had tunnel vision and I was definitely going to use that to my advantage. I also know all the ways to piss him off to make him fight wildly. But I had a much more cruel idea in mind something even he wasn't capable of.

"dont worry william i wont kill you like that, we may hate each other but were both swordsmen so its only fitting your end be by the blade."

william: hehe feels just like it did back when me and you were in that kendo class. lil scarlet took fencing though she certainly was a weird one. but would you mind telling me why were on a floating platform over lava?

" dont you remember?, when we were younger you one said you wished to have a duel in the most epic way possible, plus i didnt want you to be able escape from me~ but if this isnt epic enough allow me to fix that."

i jumped and thrusted my blade into the platform causing it to split and float a little bit apart with some boulders acting like stepping stones between the platforms.

william: heh, i cant believe you remembered that, this is exactly how i imagined it so long ago. i guess you must be really pissed at me for taking hall and almost burning your girl alive like the wretch she is huh?~

" heres a hint and don't call her that!"

I dashed at him with my sword drawn and we exchanged slashes to one another. the sound of steel on steel  filled the air as we began to clash with the utmost intent to kill each other. 

our battle quickly got more intense as we both received many injuries although i ignored the pain i felt something else well up inside my heart the feeling of intensity and adrenaline a feeling i haven't had in a long time. it made me want to make this battle last as long as possible and i would if jane wasn't in need of serious medical help so i decide to make it so william survives ....well just barely after all he needs to pay the price for hurting my beautiful black rose.

I was foolish enough to lower my guard only to get blasted into the rocky wall. The impact had knocked the wind out of me and I fell to the ground gasping for breath.

William: how pathetic I guess it's a good thing I followed in your footsteps and joined a cult to. But instead of a low-level demon like you I am the vessel of an Angel. In other words I am the Divine bringer of judgment!

" hehehe do you think you found an ally against the darkness, do you comprehend the powers you were gifted with... against the powers I was born into...Where do you think the shadows all go to hide from the precious light?~

William: stay back! 

william fired a ball of divine light at me but i simply deflected it making it hit the wall while continuing staring william down.

"What you posses is a mere fraction of they're might the very same might I stand un yeilding against each and every moment"

William shoots another ball of light at me and i simply sidestepped making it fly past me.

"You are nothing compared to them....you are both compared to me!"

i slammed william into the wall of the Rock quarry making the stone walls shake dropping rocks and debris into the lava which were incinerated on contact.

"You claim to know fear I shall show you true terror!"

i willingly took his impale through my shoulder and stared at him with souless eyes.

william: wha-what are you?!

"hehehe i am a nightmare~"

i uppercut him with every ounce of strength i had sending him flying through the air like a missile.

i must have hit him too hard because he went flying through the stone wall and got spartan kicked by a waiting shard sending him into the rocky wall.

"You claim the angels can do no wrong. They're responsible for half of the crap we deal with. Especially for giving powers like that to morons like you."

William: but I was chosen!

"You were chosen to be there little errand boy nothing more. An errand that you have failed miserably."

when i went up to him to deliver the finishing blow sisur intervened.

Sisur: that's enough, william I'll make a deal with you. You leave now and I can guarantee protection.

William: uhh y-yeah it's a deal!

shard: The only reason he's got scars is just a reminder of what will come if he's caught,so run,run William~

i also laughed abit as my brother ran/limped away barely escaping with his life our laugh was cut short by perseus flinging his sword at me in a attempt to assassinate me. when he missed he charged pulling out dual daggers but gets stopped mid run by a very angry sisur who uses soul bending to get him on his knees

Sisur and hall striped Perseus of his powers and than locks him away in the ocean to be a prisoner and tormented forever to which hall added to the problems for perseus by placing not one but 4 krakens 

" hey sisur i have a question for you?"

sisur: and what would that be?

" do you think that you could teleport this whole rock quarry near the mansion after i remove the lava?"

hall: umm why?

"once i remove the lava this place would be ideal for a training area"

sisur: sure the leader is gone so who cares.

laz: i have william in my sights i can take him out right now should i daddy?

" no laz after all, a deals a deal"

i said while looking at sisur out of the corner of my eye

sisur: Good I am know to get very angry if someone breaks my deals

"besides i hate to admit it but, i enjoyed mine and william's dual almost to the death."

Jeff: why didn't you just finish him you had him right there!

"Because right now I'm more interested in getting Jane somewhere safe and away from here. Make no mistake if me and William never cross paths again I will get him."

Shard: sisur I can't believe you let William get away. Do you have any idea the pain he put him through!?

Sisur; you're unable to see the bigger picture.

Shard: well either way let's get everyone back home.

I nodded calmly as I gently took Jane from lynx.

"Lynx thank you for watching out for her."

Lynx: she's family and I don't turn my back on family.

I nodded as we all headed home unbeknownst to me that I would indeed see my brother again soon.

(William pov)

i have been running the whole time now when i stopped i heard movement around me

" BLACKHEART IS THAT YOU? REMEMBER I MADE A DEAL WITH SISUR YOU CANNOT HURT ME

??? :oh but I don't wanna hurt you

a mysterious woman walked out of the shadows she looked beautiful

???: i am prysrish and I have taking quit the liking into you how would you fell like if i gave you even more power?

William: but i made a deal with sisur....

prysrish: DON'T MENTION MY BROTHER

William: okay okay wait you are sisurs sisiter?

prysrish: sadly yes but like i said how do you like all the power you can have?william: sounds like a dream come true well almost a dream i need you as well to make it a dream come true

prysrish: what a flirt you are i am honnered to be with you now come with me we have much to discuss
